Reader question

S sa…
“If you remind a little of Nina Dobrev and Jenni Farley, which make-up suits you best? (However, not as brown in the skin) ”

Fun question! If you are so good-looking, you really fit into everything, but I would probably have felt the best-looking in a make-up with these details:
* A lot shading and highlighter
* Rosy cheeks
* Cold and intense sweeping with a lot of shimmer
* A warm lip color

feelingsI love these two make-ups! Jenni Farley (right) is more warmly made up and it is incredibly beautiful for her warm skin, but I had run more on Nina Dobrev's look with cold eyes that gives a little more contrast.

On a daily basis, I had a neutral lip color in the warm direction and smoked my eyes a little lightly with a gray-brown eyeliner pencil, and so rosy cheeks on it with a lovely apricot color.

For a party, I had either smoked my eyes more but saved the other details on the everyday make-up, or run on a sharp eyeliner with wing, less blush and a fun lip color, either warm blood red or a bright pink purple!

Hope you were inspired :)

Smokey colors

If you like colorful make-up but do not feel comfortable in "screaming" colors, it is a good idea to darken the colorful make-up a bit with a black eye shadow, then the make-up gets a more smoky impression that does not feel as colorful!

That's what I did in today's make-up, I hope you like it :)

New - Bra Cosmetics Eye Primer

Now it's time to present another novelty creativemakeup.se, I finally sell an eyeshadow primer !!

Eyeshadow primer is a product I really can not live without, and I'm also very picky, Lumene Eyeshadow Base and Nyx HD Eyeshadow Base are the only ones I have stuck to and I have tested very many.

I have actually had the opportunity to sell eyeshadow primer before, but have not done so as I really have to stand for what I sell and have not previously found one that I think is 100% good. Among other things, I have said no to gloMinerals and Paese's eye primers as they did not appeal to me.

But now (!) I have found a cruel eyeshadow primer that I love, and now it is available to buy at creativemakeup.se! :)

It is BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Waterproof Eye Primer I'm talking about, the same brand as the new makeup brushes in the webshop. It's really awesome!1007_1

The primer is a waterproof eye primer that makes the eye shadows withstand much more moisture than with other primers. And the difference from not using primer at all is huge, but primer disappears the shadows almost immediately upon contact with water.

The texture is thin, liquid, smooth and easy to apply - not at all sticky or sticky!

Ingredients and properties:
Chemsil K-51 - Provides water-repellent effect
Vitamin A & E - Nourishes and protects the skin
Oil-free
Non-annoying
Allergy friendly
Hygienic pump bottle
Dryg formula

(The pump bottle must be pumped quite a few times before you get the primer out)

primer comparison

Since I have promoted Lumene and NYX so much in the webshop, it does not feel more than right to compare these three products :) In the picture you can clearly see how the eye shadows are with different primers underneath.

The result with all three primers will be good, but I like BH Cosmetics the most thanks to these properties:

* The texture is something in between Lumene's thick texture and NYX which is thin and almost a little wet. BH Cosmetics is creamy like Lumene but thin like NYX.
* BH Cosmetics glides on the skin as easily as NYX, but the edges become easier to fade.
* BH Cosmetics does not have time to week so much when you blink before applying the eye shadows, which both NYX and Lumene do more. So it makes it easier when you put on make-up!

Here you see a close-up of BH Cosmetics primer :)

primer-water-resistant

I did an extreme durability test on my hand, you can see the result above! If you rub even more on BH Cosmetics, it will also be erased, but it requires more than the other brands.

That said, two thumbs up for this eyeshadow primer !!

It costs SEK 129 and I have very few in stock right now so hurry up before they run out (I will make a new order but it may unfortunately take a few weeks it looks like now).

Finally, I offer two make-ups where I have used this eyeshadow primer :)

Hug!!

IsaDora Face Sculptor

One of IsaDora's autumn news is an all-in-one product that is becoming increasingly popular as beauty blogs grow and more and more people learn the shading / highlighter principle! :)

IsaDora Face Sculptor is a box with both sun powder, highlighter and blush, which is perfect for shaping and giving the face a little more life!

It should be in the store already now, SEK 199, but I can not find it in any webshop yet so snag in a Kicks store if you are hungry already now, it should be there.

The product is available in both a hot and cold palette, I have it hot!

I really give two thumbs up for both the sun powder, blush and highlighter - they are rich in pigment, have a soft powder consistency and are very easy to work with. The shades themselves are also perfect I think, they are really nice for all hair colors and skin tones (on the warm scale) and I can imagine that both I who is quite light and a tan brunette can use this and be equally nice both :)

The only thing I personally would like to change is that the highlighter is a little too shimmery for me with oily skin, it is super nice on small parts of the face but on the nose both the shine and the pores are highlighted after just an hour. This is a common side effect for us with oily skin, so I skipped matting products just to test, and it consumed 10 times more powder during the day than usual!

sun powder-highlighter-red

This is how I apply the different shades! The highlighter is super nice even on collarbones, cleavage and shoulders.

IMG_8441_111Surely the shades become natural and fine? And the skin gets a nice glow too, too bad I had to dust off that effect later. For you with oily skin, skip highlighter on your problem areas or use good soothing products so that your skin stays dull during the day.

Two thumbs up I say!

Cool with a hint of color

Here is today's make-up, a really cool look while it contains some color! Huuur good-looking is not the green eye shadow? :)
