Do you remember my post that many have had allergic reactions from Depends Gellack?

The Medical Products Agency has now banned the sale of Depends Gellack due to all reports! If I have understood it correctly, it is acrylates in nail building products that in uncured form can cause allergic reactions if they come in contact with the skin. So that is why some have reacted to the product, by e.g. smear with the varnish on the cuticles.

You can be allergic to everything, even natural substances, so you should always be careful and this especially applies to such chemicals. But even if you are careful, it is easy to slip and smudge on the side of the nail, e.g. if you are right-handed and paint with your left hand. So I still think it's good that the gel polish is banned, because hopefully Depend will have to redo the formula to get a much better and safer product! They should do that anyway, do you understand what a big seller this has been for them?

I have used the nail polish myself and am very happy, and my sister is crying blood right now because she has been using this constantly for more than a year. So a new safer product, I definitely keep my fingers crossed for :)

A little funny thing happened yesterday in connection with this, I was called by Aftonbladet for an interview about Depends Gellack in their web TV :) Do not think that so many people sit and watch their live broadcasts directly but still a little fun haha. Finally I have done a step by step make-up again!

I basically always did it before, but after I move the make-up home to my mother, I do not take photos in the same room as I put on make-up (I put on make-up in the garage, but it is the best photo light on our terrace) so there would be a lot of running for a step-by-step description.

But now I have received some photo and editing tips from the photographer Linn Gullberg so I managed to take pretty good photos in the garage and then photoshop had to do the rest of the work with light and colors. So it went pretty well after a little extra work! A bit dull pictures but you can see how I have done anyway :)

Today's make-up is inspired by the one I showed you yesterday, purple on the sides and bright in the middle. But this is not completely shimmery and made with eye shadows that are available in the webshop! So it is nicer, more fun to show and also gets better in the picture :)

The brown eye shadow is YAG Mineral Cacao Brown, and the rest are from byher 40 palette.

1. Brown eye shadow along the globe line.
2. Purple eye shadow innermost and outermost on the eyelid.
3. Light pink eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid.
4. Fade the edges.
5. The same light pink eye shadow also in the corner of the eye and under the brow.
6. Navy blue eyeliner + wing along the upper lash line, Oriflame The ONE Eye Liner Stylo.
7. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara.

Is it already Thursday? What happened? :)

Thursday means tbt, throwback thursday, and I was going to bid on the result from a shoot I made up for last summer!

I like these pictures very much, it was an advertisement for Skanshage Sweden who had just launched their ankle straps, super smart way to spruce up their shoes! I had ha-desires then and get it now again, must probably wish me a birthday present :)

It's weird weather this week, warming sun mixed with rain and hail, and it can turn around in just a few minutes!

My tip? Wear a dress that fits with a warm jacket, then you will look great in 2 seconds if you take off your jacket, and can quickly get dressed and still be warm and stylish when the sun goes down in the clouds again :)

The hair is so nice as long as I sleep with a braid and let it out in the morning! Love my extensions from Hair Talk :)

Purple & Light pink makeup with red lips

I took the opportunity to test another 3 palette from Paese that I have not taken into the webshop yet, you have to test the stuff properly first and it feels stupid to do a make-up and not show just because the shadows are not available to buy yet: ) You will see it as inspiration!

This palette comes from the Luxus series, which consists of very shimmering and sparkling eye shadows. The shadows are really crazy nice, shimmer a lot and I am really easy to work with.

I prefer to mix matte and shimmery because it gives more effect and also it looks better in the picture, so I love these but am really eager to test them together with the cashmere series instead of a full shimmery make-up. It may be at a later time :)

So today I offer a shimmery make-up, and then I think it's really nice with an intense look with a lot of eyeliner that breaks off! And as I said, full-bodied make-up is never as good in the picture as in reality as they reflect the light so much, but I hope you like the look anyway :)

Purple eyes matched with orange lips, nice combo I think! The lip gloss is Paese Manifesto Liquid Lipstick in shade 907.
