There was no Sunday post last week because I was very ill and was covered in high fever and throat infection again. Missed my 10-year-old party too, so damn boring!
But now I am healthy and have rolled up my sleeves again :)

Benefits of blog readers!
The last four throat infections, I have not sought care but gone all in on self-care with bactericidal gargle, Cold Zyme spray, meditation, healing, rest, supplements, etc.
But this time I happened to promise Dad to take it up again so on Monday it was a doctor's visit :) And when I came to the doctor I did not have to tell the whole story about how much I have been sick the last 11 months for the first thing my doctor said to me huh ”I'm reading your blog so I've been following your sore throat for almost a year now" Lol! Wonderful!
She also knew then that I had not been the best at listening to my body before, but I have actually been the last few times. Although I do not like it if I am to be completely honest, I feel best if I can squeeze in alvedon and ipren and live on as usual. It's not about stress or time constraints, but that I do not want anything to control me. The hardest thing about setting up the class party was not that I missed the party itself, it was not so important, but it was that I felt stuck at home, that the fever prevented me from living life. Now you might think I'm exaggerated haha, I'm not dying of cancer as well. But you never want to feel controlled and I am starting to feel that more now, we have booked a trip to Gotland this summer and I am already thinking "I hope I am healthy then". Yuk!

I, who have been so good with my health lately, really thought I would manage to get a sore throat in April! Here is my new breakfast: Yogurt with blueberries, chia seeds and spirulina, omega3, probiotics and healing water with shungite stones. The worst health nerd now;)
Extra crack as a photographer
Miska is building websites and is currently helping Peragenda, which will soon have a new and nice website! We did teamwork and went to Tierp where Tommy (who runs Peragenda) held a workshop where I took pictures that we will use for the website and marketing.

Fun to get away on a slightly different mission! And great fun to be able to work together like this on projects that are outside the salon as well :)

Here I go through the pictures waiting for Tommy to finish the workshop so we could have a meeting afterwards.

Then we sat in a café and went through the website, various marketing channels, etc.
Taking photos is fast, but then it takes many hours to edit! I'm not a professional photographer, so then you have to do the biggest job in Photoshop hehe. So I've been sitting with it a lot this week and am not quite done yet.
Here are some of the pictures after editing:

Tommy who runs Peragenda :)

Miska got a little model too haha.

The pictures may not be flawless but I do not take photographer prices either;)
The picture on the ipad screen I cut there afterwards. Fun fact: The curve on the screen is actually how our occupancy rate increased for 2 years after we got help from Peragenda. Occupancy rate is thus how many bookings we had, if you work 6 hours in one day and are booked every 6 hours, you have 100% in occupancy. An incredible increase!
Freelance assignment at Disruptive Materials
On Tuesday, I packed my freelance bag and went to the company Disruptive Materials, which photographed new employees for its website.
It's always nice to get there! If I had not been 100% self-employed, I would probably have applied for a job there haha. You feel so welcome when the first thing you hear when you arrive is "oh we have a nice visit here today!"And one of the new employees who have had really cool jobs in the cosmetics industry in the past exclaims"what fun to finally meet you !!”. I'm quite rarely there nowadays and yet I feel a little at home in some way. It would not have been strange if I just got there, did my make-up and no one even remembers my name. But now everyone stops and talks and gossips, very nice!

A booked dressing table filled with "candy" :)
Entrepreneur with baby
I was asked how it works with the new work routines since we moved home to Annika and became as "bonus parents" to her baby :) Tomorrow Mileya is 3 months and our new life with baby and country life works great! We are starting to get into the routines now, but at the same time are looking at a more detailed approach with work routines when Annika will start working again. Then it's me and Miska who have the baby.
Right now I work full days from home about two days a week, the days we go into town it is rarely full days so then I work from home before / after as well.
So there will be more planning than usual, I book customers and salon jobs between bvc visits and various baby matters. I do not have as many times in the booking system so some regular customers have chosen to go to my colleagues, but otherwise life works as a new "folder" and entrepreneur well haha!

Freshly made up with step by step look for the blog and ready to go into the salon, just a cup of coffee first. Yes, hot coffee over baby, that's me!
Other
I have not been so good at photographing what I have done so here comes a small other category only :)
It's been the end of the month so I've been sitting with statistics again. We have very low turnover now that Annika is on maternity leave, but if you do not count Annika and how the costs have looked but only on the income for the rest of us, February and March were the best months since August! And soon the wonderful spring rush will come :) Ida is so fully booked, so if you want to book a brown tattoo with her, there are no times until June!
The end of the month also means that the salary reports must be fixed. We have a lot of salary costs now because Lisa goes on maternity leave in May, but her replacement has already started + that all staff have received a salary increase. More than half of our costs are payroll costs, so it is definitely our biggest cost. But worth it too of course;)
The schedule puzzle is also a job that never ends. In part, we have booked both kiss meetings and hug meetings (personal meetings and with the whole team at the same time) and since it is starting to get more fully booked, it was not a completely uncomplicated task, but Olga was nice and could start earlier one of the days and Ida sacrificed one quarter of his lunch, so it resolved in the end! Then there are also many holiday wishes now to decide on, the summer holidays are over, but when everyone gets a spring feeling, it's small days and changes here and there. So it's been a powerhouse puzzle puzzle lately!
I have no plan
In January I had a little inner panic about what to do next, I was almost stressed by not having a stressful to do list haha. I had had so much before that it became empty when everything calmed down. I wrote about it in this Sunday post, that I felt a little lost.
I do not feel that way anymore, or in practical terms everything is still right because the salon is rolling on so well that I am hardly needed there anymore. I work a lot but nothing is really a "must". I work a bit for the sake of the work band haha.
But the difference is that I am not stressed about it anymore but feel strong confidence that it will work out. I have a period now when I have a little more free time than before, if it's sunny outside I take a coffee break and sit in the sun for a while and if I have done everything I should one day, I stop working earlier instead of thinking “what more needs to be done now that I have some time left? ”.
I have simply accepted that the best thing for me right now is not to push myself forward but to take everything as it comes. Right now I am eager to write a book and without any goals at all, I sit and write, just because I can. It may be a very calm spring and summer, which I will not look back on and think "wow what I have accomplished!" but I think that in turn will lead to something good. I take it easy and open my mind to new ideas and offers that may arise. Or they do not, but then I am at least more motivated to start pushing forward again in the autumn.
I think it will be good!

This is how I sat last weekend with a face mask, hair wrap and foot bath and wrote on my book :) Luxury !!
Now it will be a quiet Sunday, a mecca will come here and change summer tires on our car (how nice with home visits?) But other than that I will just feel what I am craving and do just that. Maybe it will be a cozy walk along the lake!
Have a nice Sunday everyone ♥
