Summer tutorial

6

Here comes an incredibly summery and wonderful make-up, step by step! :)

I have completely used iMys 252 palette, except Annika's favorite shade in the middle of the eye :)

1. Light eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
2. Yellow eye shadow deepest on the eyelid.
3. Purple eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and along the globe line.
4. Blur the edges.
5. Pink eye shadow above the globe line.
6. Blue eye shadow at the end of the lower lash line and at the end of the eyelid.
7. Green eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line.
8. Black eyeliner + wing along the upper lash line, Kryolan Cake Eyeliner.
9. Black mascara on all lashes, Peggy Sage Dreamy Cils Mascara.

My white waterline is tattooed.

Lips, Peggy Sage Lipstick Beige Rose.
Bright lip gloss over, gloMinerals Liquid Lips (Darling)

Then I dabbed away the excess from the lips with a piece of paper, so it became a more pinkish nude shade.

Blond With Benefits - Kevin Murphy

I have very easy to get yellow tones in my hair. When I bleach the growth, I always have to have silver wrapping afterwards.

Now in the summer I also notice this, because when the hair starts to bleach, that yellow tone creeps forward slowly but surely.

My hairdresser warned me about this before we went to Greece, so I bought a kit with silver shampoo, silver conditioner and a white "color bug" from Kevin Murphy.

When my hairdresser had the conditioner in his hair after bleaching, it got a lot more gloss and luster than when you have regular silver shampoo / wrapping! The shade goes more in the beige-pink direction than the blue-gray.

I was still pretty fresh when I tested home the first time, so I did not really need to get a cooler tone in my hair, I was just so curious about my new stuff. The silver conditioner is as blue-purple as a silver shampoo.

Incredibly effective stuff! Had in regular shampoo and and then the silver conditioner, rinsed out immediately without letting it work. And the next day, a guy at work asked if I had gone gray.

I did not see this particularly negatively, because I was so cold before. And that purple shade that easily arises went away after a wash. Instead, I just realized how extremely effective the products are, really great if you have had a bleach-hair-at-home incident;)

Now that it has been summer and sun for a while, and my yellow tones are creeping up again, I also took the opportunity to test the white chalk that comes with the kit.

Be a little skeptical of it at first actually, but it is super good for my yellow areas! I have some curls in my hair that turn yellower than others, but they are conjured away immediately!

You just put a hair loop against the chalk, and press lightly with your thumb while pulling down.

The result is very natural and good! For fun, put a little in the growth also to test, but there it became mostly gray.

So, thumbs up for Kevin Murphy's silver series "Blond With Benefits"! But be careful when testing for the first time, do not let it work for too long as it is so heavenly effective.

My white color bug is clearly a new favorite in the toiletry bag!

Pink tutorial

Here comes today's step by step makeup.

I like to focus all the dark on the lower lash line, and not put any dark shadow at all in the globe line. You get a smoky and intense party look, which is still very open!

In addition, I have become a big fan of pink, I feel great in it :)

Summery party make-up

1. Light eye shadow innermost on the eyelid and in the corner of the eye, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
2. Pink eye shadow on the entire eyelid, iMys 252 Palette.
3. Blur the edges.
4. Black eye shadow along the lower lash line, Peggy Sage eye shadow.
5. Black eyeliner along the waterline and the upper lash line, L'Oréal Paris (131 Noir)
6. Black mascara on all lashes, Peggy Sage Dreamy Cils.

Glossy lipstick, 66 Color Lip Palette.

Have a nice evening nice ones!

Read foundation tips!

I who have an echoing wallet at the moment, do not have the opportunity to test even a tenth of all the products I would like.

That's why I prayed Lisa Anckarman, a lovely girl who works as a makeup artist in Uppsala, to share her best foundation tips this summer! So you do not always have to put up with my gloMinerals chatter;)

 Lisa says:

I've never been a mineral powder fan. I find it difficult to get it to sit all day. But pull me backwards what I love Make up store's new matte variant! It is only available in one color, Mojave, and it fits perfectly now that you have started to get some color like this for the summer. I'm completely sold out. No concealer needed. Summer favorite!

Mineral powder: Mojave
Eyesight: Dedadly

Eyebrows: Pencil no.3
Lipstick: Mood
Red: Cairo

Test eye shadows on the hand

If I am unsure of which eye shadows I should use for a make-up, I usually apply a little primer on the hand / arm and put the shades next to each other.

Then you get a good overview of how the colors get together on the eyelid, and it is easier to decide!

This is also a good trick if you have a lack of inspiration, go crazy with different color combinations on the arm first and you will surely get an idea for an eye make-up :)

Color test for today's make-up, which is available at Modern Mom now.

I can smudge as much as I want on my left hand / arm, then I forget about it and leave home haha.

But it's a bit charming maybe, I hope :)
