New Year's make-up - Brown eyes

Brown eyes are highlighted by cool colors, such as blue and green!

To emphasize brown eyes with a warm shade, you can apply glitter or a shimmery eye shadow, which gives a cooler effect.

Here are some examples! :)

Blue New Year's make-up

0

Sanna sa…
Hey! Have a lot of blue eye shadows, but do not really know how to use them. So I wonder if you could show a New Year's makeup with just blue eye shadow? :)

Absolutely, I love blue! :)

I do not know at all what blue shades you have, but if you have a lot, I assume you have one light blue, one "common" and a little darker blue. At least three different shades :)

(All eyeshadows are from the 252 Palette)

1. Add one blue eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid.

2. Darker blue eye shadow at the end of the eyelid.

3. Light blue eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line perks up a bit!

4. Light eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line, in the corner of the eye and under the brow.

5. Blur the edges with a larger brush.

6. For a more sooty look - soot with a little black eye shadow at the end of the eyelid.

7. Black eyeliner at the end of the inner lash line, and along the entire upper lash line.
8. White eyeliner innermost on the inner lash line, H&M.

9. End with black mascara on the upper and outer lower lashes.

Wish make-up for New Year

3

Glad that so many have started wanting makeup! Trying to make everyone happy, and when I get the answer that I have succeeded in it, my whole being is filled with joy! :)

I have a blue New Year makeup which I will publish tomorrow (has been diligent and done two make-ups at once now again) ;)

But I feel insecure now that the email has gone awry, is there anyone I have missed?

So fun to play with the form on the eyes. It can make such a big difference!

If there is anyone else who wants me to show a specific New Year's make - up, get in touch last Sunday morning so that I can catch up :)

Kiss hug!

Problem solving

Ells sa…
You are so heavenly good! I myself bought gold-colored glitter for New Year, but forgot mixing liquid. Is there an alternative to that? Eyelash glue? Or something else.

Fun question indeed!

Being a really good make up artist is not just about being able to put on make-up, but also solving problems! Even the best make up artist can mess with it, or forget an important product at home;)

I who am self-taught have often encountered this!

Yes, eyelash glue is probably what I would recommend. It fits well and does not crease when you blink, in addition it dries and also becomes transparent!

BUT there are lots of things you can use if you are a little resourceful :)

It basically everyone has at home - water. I actually used to (a little ashamed to say this) use my saliva under regular eye shadows when I started applying makeup, and did not realize that there was a product called primer!

Even better stuff to attach glitter with is a thin layer lip-gloss, lypsyl, skin lotion, so something a little stickier than primer / concealer and stuff. Then, however, you must be careful to saturate the moisture properly so that it does not crease when you blink.

There is also another product called glitter glue (but then you need to shop I guess, and that was where the problem lay) Glitter glue has the same function as mixing liquid, except that glitter glue is applied as a primer.

What Mixing Liquid has that is so good is that you can apply it over an eye shadow so that the shadow is still visible, without destroying the eye shadow underneath. This is difficult with the other products, then you may have to make a glitter eyeliner or simply cover with glitter!

Good luck! :)

Silvery New Year's make-up

5

Malva sa…
Hey! could you do a make-up that you can have for a silvery dress on new year? I'm going to have burgundy lips so anything that matches them would be great! Do you think you are very good, I am very eager to become a make up artist when I get older and your blog teaches me a lot!

I would mainly bet on call shades. For example, gray, silver, blue, black. One red-black sooting with silver glitter that matches both the lips and the dress would also be cool;)

The make-up I have done is a gray / silver sweep! If you choose matte eye shadows, it feels more gray than silver, but shimmer gives a more silvery feeling :) So you can vary it yourself how you want it!

(All eyeshadows are from the 180 Palette.)

1. Add one silvery / light gray eye shadow at the inside of the eyelid and down towards the corner of the eye.

2. Add one gray eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid.

3. Then shape the shape you want in the outer edge with black eye shadow.

4. Blur the edges and add more black shadow if needed!

5. Keep it up black the eye shadow on the lower lash line.
I have applied a little thinner in the middle of the lower lash line, to get a cooler and more intense effect.

6. Mark the eyes with black eyeliner on the inner and upper lash line.

7. End with black mascara on all lashes.
