Makeup brushes

I have started to get more and more questions about makeup brushes, which I think is great fun!
Here is a post about which brushes to use I use when I put on make-up! However, I lost my favorite brush :(
Took the opportunity to take photos when I did this make-up yesterday, which requires a little different brushes!
(Before, I only used a single brush for all eye shadows)
Step 1. Base brushes.
The narrow rather hard brush on the left (foundation brush), I use as a concealer brush for my solid powder foundation. Dab a little at the nostrils, under the eyes and on pimples!

The round puffy brush on the left (kabuki brushes) I use for my foundation in the rest of the anise.

Kabuki brush is available e.g. to buy here.
Top the brow brush!
Slanted rather hard brush that marks well.
Included in an brow kit from Glo Minerals.
Similar are available for purchase here.
Use the same brow brush for fine lines with eye shadow.
One small shadow brush to small details such as highlighter in the corner of the eye.
Makeup brush set from MAC which is usually cheap on Tradera.
(However, do not know if they are genuine)
Common shadow brushes to the rest of the eye shadows (both when I apply the shadows and when I erase them)

Lip brush for fringe marking.

Very slim and good eyeliner brush for liquid eyeliner.

I actually own as many make-up brushes as I really want, but after a long time you find yours favorites and stick to them!

Just got home from Sister Mia's after helping her clean the closet.

Red wine, bullshit and lots of laughter! I can say that it was a long time ago it was so fun to clean;)

One could almost have skipped cleaning, and used the room as guest rooms instead.
Nice to rest on the soft surface so to speak! ;)

Purple and pink makeup

Here in the blog, I distinguish between party make-up and colorful make-up.

But from experience, and especially now in the summer, I can think that it is as much a party to have a really colorful make-up as really seems!

It can be something to think about before the weekend's feats;)

Here comes the day!

All eye shadows are from Eleven 180 palette in addition to the light yellow-white.
Light yellow-white eye shadow inside the eyelid, in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Kryolan Eyedust (No.1)
Pink eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid.
Dark pink eye shadow at the end of the eyelid.
Purple eye shadow on the lower lash line and along the globe line.
White eyeliner on the inner lash line and out of the corner of the eye, H&M.
Black eyeliner on the upper lash line + wing, Kryolan cake eyeliner.
Lipstick, Eleven 66 Lip Palette.
Really think it would have been nicer with natural lips for such a strong make-up, but it's easy to be hindsight;)
Has started to get some questions about makeup brushes also, so tomorrow I will show which brushes I use for what. Which I photographed while doing this makeup!
But now I'm going home to my sister and help her clean the wardrobe;)

Discreet pink makeup

Because I have the world's best boyfriend who surprised me with Breakfast in Bed this morning (!)♥ so the morning routine was a bit disturbed, and I did not have time to blog before I left.

But now comes at least today's makeup!

A fairly discreet, simple and natural make-up, but still summery and a little extra nice! Perfect when you are in a hurry;)

Both eye shadows are Kryolan Eyedust.
Light yellow-white eye shadow at the inside of the eyelid and lower lash line, in the corner of the eye and under the brow. (No.1 - Annika's favorite shade)
Pink eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and the lower lash line and along the globe line (No.35)
White eyeliner on the inner lash line, H&M.
Black eyeliner at the top of the upper lash line, Glo Minerals gloPrecisio Eye Pencil (Black)
Black mascara on all lashes, Fiberwig LX.

Tip!

If you do not have time or interest to put on make-up with different eye shadows, and thus maybe not the desire to spend money on it - so I can really recommend a make-up like this!

Buy a larger jar of it light yellow-white the shadow I used above. And then one or more small shadows in Olinka färger (costs only SEK 39 / pc)

Then you can vary this simple make-up with different colors on the other shades! If you then want to be a party, a little extra eyeliner or glitter can do the trick.

These eye shadows are incredibly nice, good and easy to work with!
