As I said before, I am immersing myself a bit in the "makeup language" in English.
Found this picture, among other things.
It is actually very important to know the "different parts" of the eye if you are going to make up a person in English at some point.
I already knew that in English you have abbreviations to very much, but only now realize how insanely much it really is!
At first I was shocked that there were so many abbreviations at all. Then I was even more shocked when I realized that they really are uses all!

For example:

MMU = Mineral makeup
MSF = Mineralized skinfinish
E / S = Eyeshadow
L / G = Lip Gloss
LOTD = Look of the day
TM = Tinted moisturizer
ELF = Eyes, lips, face (from there the website elf got its name)
BOGO = Buy one get one (take two pay for one)


There are about a thousand more abbreviations, and some that are completely unnecessary e.g. P / M = Pigment. Why do you have to shorten it ?!

By the way, did you know that MUA does not always stand for make up artist? Many just write MA because MUA is the abbreviation for the website MakeUpAlley which seems to be a very big makeup site in the US.

And I, and probably most of my blog readers too, am MUGs - Makeup geeks!

Green party makeup

Here are some better pictures of the makeup you got a thief look at in the previous post (which, however, was not clear in the pictures)

Today it was a green make-up, as with the help of a little black eye shadow sotade to it a bit, so it became a party make-up!


(All eyeshadows are from the 180 palette)
Lime green eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid.
Yellow eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line and at the end of the eyelid.
Darker lime green eye shadow at the end of the lower lash line and along the globe line.
Lime green eye shadow over the dark lime green along the globe line (same as on the eyelid)
Black eye shadow at the end of the lower lash line and at the beginning of the globe line.
Light yellow highlighter eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the eyebrow, Annika's favorite shade.
Black cake eyeliner on the upper lash line, Kryolan.
Black eyeliner on the inner lash line and ultimately on the lower lash line, H&M.
It is the black shadow that makes the green at the end of the eye see more khahki green out.
But it will be very effective with just a little black shadow over one color!

Now I will continue to do one English C work I will report next week.

I will talk about how makeup artists speak in English, type of expression and how to speak (it is as diffuse a task as it sounds)

Do you have any good ones suggestions, or tips on pages I can find more information on, you are very welcome to shout! Right now I have just looked around at blogs and makeup videos and analyzed myself.

When you even get bumps from putting on make-up, then you are classy!
You do not see in the picture how the bulge "sticks out", but it was RED like a tomato!

Here's today's makeup.
The flash on the camera is broken (has still not submitted it for repair) so the images become type gröngula when there is no daylight outside.
But you see the make-up itself and that is the main thing :)
Purple eye shadow innermost & outermost on eyelid, and outermost on lower lash line, 180 pallets.
Orange eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid and the middle of the lower lash line, 180 pallets.
Light yellow highlighter eyeshadow on the inside of the lower lashes, in the corner of the eye and up below the eyebrow, Annika's favorite shade.
(Finally I got a picture of how much Annika's favorite shadow shimmers!)
Black eyeliner pen on the inner lash line, H&M.
Black cake eyeliner on the upper lash line, Kryolan.
Became bright lips! However, they were not so flattering in the picture ..

Now I do not really know what to do. Have quite a lot I should grab, but it's so much that I do not know where to start.

It probably ends with another blog post probably, can usually be so :)

Makeup video - Green and Blue

Took the thumb out of my ass and made a video blog today!
Not very good at it yet. Set the camera well at first, but then moved I turn more and more to the side, so sometimes you only see one of my eyes.
Plus the light is very orange as usual. I have to work a little on this. But as long as you can be content :)
