Yesterday I tested Sephora's new thinking Upside Down Mascara, which consists of two mascara brushes in one to be able to paint both on the top and bottom of the lashes at the same time!
It costs 180 ISK.
I both love and hate this mascara. I was skeptical from the beginning, as it feels like a typical "wow-why-has-no-one-thought-about-this-before-product" that in practice does not work properly for 100%.
I think it's a bit like that too, at the same time as it still went better than I expected!
How can you not smudge on the eyelid (?) Â was my first thought, but it still went well, I got a small mascara stain on one eye only, and the formula in the mascara felt easy to work and comfortable.
If the end result was so much to cheer for, I do not know. After a few times, I think you get a better technique, it went better in the other eye then. So I'm pretty sure you can get a better result than what I got in these pictures, but I do not know, probably no super-mega-wow effect then it also feels like.
The lashes became a bit messy, which may be because I took photos at the same time and the mascara he dried a bit before I was done.
But it is very fun to use, and if I had the energy to practice a little with it, I would have done it! This is how you do it:
In picture no. 2 it looks like I am tearing off my lashes haha, however, it was nothing I experienced when I applied. I only have a lid that is very easy to "lift" hehe.
Any of you who have tested this? Do you get thirsty, or discouraged? :)
Hug!
