Black sweeping step by step

Yesterday at the internship, a customer came in who wanted a black sweep. And then I got to watch when David made her up!

I have shown quite a few different kinds of black soot here on the blog, both "regular" and step by step.
But now I was going to show you how to "do", and how a real makeup artist interprets a black sweep:
(All eye shadows are from the 180 palette)
Gray eye shadow on the entire eyelid.
If you are going to soot with 2 different colors, it is smart to start with an "intermediate color" over the eyelid. In this case, I will soot with white and black, so the transition will be gray.
White eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid.
Then you can put the colors you want to soot over the gray.
Black eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and along the eyeball line.
White eye shadow (highlighter) under the eyebrow.
Blur the edges.
It's a matter of taste how much you should erase. David has a lot of highlighter and shadows a lot. Annika prefers smaller highlighters and sharper edges. I usually choose something in between!
Black eye shadow on the lower lash line.
Black eyeliner on inner and upper lash line, H&M.
The belly becomes more intense if you put on dark make-up on the lower lash line.
Mascara on, then it's ready!
My new lip pencil, Nivea stay on lip liner.
Red lipstick, 66 lipstick palette.
Big size lips, Lol!
Did one more make-up today. Would love to publish it, but need to save a little stock which can be published when I am abroad!
Now I'm going out for a walk with Frida.
See ya!
