Make-up you feel best in

I got this comment on the post where I showed our new lipsticks:

“Pillow talk really looks perfect! Must order it haha.
Could you show how to put on make-up when you want to look your best? So which make-up do you feel most powerful and good-looking in? I think that is interesting! ”

Great fun! I'm about 100% periodic in what I feel best in :)

If you had asked me a while ago, I would have answered something like this makeup or this makeup. Smoky eyes in brown or black (and preferably gold details!) And a medium dark color on the lips.

But right now I basically do the same makeup every day (except when I take photos step by step to the blog of course) and it is:

    1. Very little eye makeup, just mascara and colorful clicks in the corner of the eye and then I do contouring around the eyes while I do the base to open up the eye a little. It goes really fast, have taken photos step by step on it further down in the post.

    2. Red or dark pink lips with a very sharp edge. I put light pencil around + paint with a lip pencil or brush to get the edges as sharp as possible - and then I paint the mouth much bigger than it is.

I spend more time on my lips than on my eyes actually :)

Face primer - Paese Makeup Base (Matte)
    Colored face primer -
glo Tinted Primer SPF 30 (Medium)
    Concealer -
Pixi Pat Away Concealing Base (1 Cream)
    Contouring - Contouring Palette (2)
    Rouge - Blush (35)
Fixing Mist - Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist
Powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder

Brynpenna - glo Skin Beauty Micro Brow Liner (Ash and Little Raven)

Lipstick - glo Suede Matte Crayon (Bombshell) applied with a narrow brush
Light pencil around the lip contours - glo Eye Pencil (Peach)

A color click in the corner of the eye is the fastest way to liven up a makeup! :)

All the first steps are with the contouring shadows that I have for the face as well, from the palette Contouring Palette (2). I just dab / sweep on the contouring shadows quickly, it only takes a few seconds (not at all like when you do a proper eye shadow make-up)

    1. Brown shadow along the globe line
    2. Light eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid
    3. … And under the brow
    4. Brown shadow at the end of the lower lash line as well
    5. Turquoise eye shadow in the corner of the eye, Paese Opal Eyeshadow Trio (Saint Tropez)
    6. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear! Not harder than that :)

    Hugs are ♥
