This is roughly what I look like right now!

Although this is a test make-up I did yesterday, to test what it looked like under the mask.

It is time for the Swedish Beauty & Cosmetics Awards tonight, the theme is mystery and the dress code is "tuxedo and mask". Super cool!

Tips to keep in mind when you want to look good under an eye mask, is first and foremost to test and check how much of the eyes / area around the eyes is visible - then you know if you should focus the makeup above or under the eye.

My mask has a lot of air under the eyes, but not a lot above. Therefore, I have a soot on the eyelid that does not go up far towards the eyebrow at all, because I still want a space between the mask and the soot. I have also highlighted that space with shimmery shadow. Then I smacked on with a lot of glitter under the eye instead, where you have the chance to be seen a little more :)

And red lips and nails to it, red feels mysterious and also I want to balance the makeup so that there is not a lot around the eyes and then nothing further down!

You can see the sweeping itself step by step in yesterday's post, but the glitter details I have added are:
Gold shimmer innermost on the eyelid, Yves Rocher Loose mother of pearl shimmer (Golden mother of pearl)
Gold glitter eyeliner along the lower lash line and corner of the eye, True Gold Glitter Eyeliner (do not think it is available to buy anymore unfortunately)

Will see if I manage to take an outfit photo before / during the evening which you can see later. But I match this in any case to a black jumpsuit, sky-high black heels, and a black bag (quilted) with a red and a black tassel :)

If everything goes as planned anyway…;) This post is timed and now I'm probably in the hotel room and getting ready!
