IF it was fun to come back to the salon after 2 weeks holiday and the first thing I hear when I step in the door is how good everything has rolled on here and how good everyone has been!
Next time I go on holiday, I will do it completely without worry in my body, this has really gone really well :)
The first days after the holidays
I would have lied if I had said that I was not difficult to start, the week started with enormous difficulty sleeping at night, I turned around the clock right when we got home but my body still seemed set for Mexico time in the evenings.
In addition, I had seen in front of me to start on "a clean sheet" or whatever you say, but it piles up a pile of things you did not grab during the holiday + that I myself had saved things from before the holiday.
So the first few days can be summed up with lots of caffeine in the morning (but stop in time to not have the slightest agility in the body in the evening haha) and just catch up on lots of things.
But because I had so much inspiration and energy in my soul, even though my body was tired, I am completely rested :) I was so bothered that I did not do work things that took me Forward, it felt like I was just doing things that should have been done already. So I squeezed in some such forward-looking work stuff as well which helped the psyche a bit haha!
Every time I felt that the lack of sleep was reminded, I thought “I am energetic! I get things done! ” haha and it helped me focus :)
Among other things, I have completed the campaign photos for February that Malin made completely on her own when we were in Mexico! It's a Valentine's Day make - up, one about Ida being a certified permanent makeup artist, one about a glowing Skin Beauty Illuminating primer that gives radiance to winter-tired skin, and one about teeth whitening.

In addition, we have a competition on our Facebook page where we compete for 2 pair treatments: haircut + beard trim and lash permanent + lash color! You can choose if you want to win two beards, two lashes or one of both. So you can come and do the treatment at the same time as someone you like! Fint va? :)

We had taken pictures of beard pictures of Niclas before, but I had no picture of eyelash permanent in action, so I took that picture this week of one of our customers who was kind and showed up! :)
"Now I have learned something new!"
In Mexico we hung out a lot with a couple from Wisconsin in the USA and one of them, Tina, said very often "I did not know that, now I learned something new!" and she probably did not think of it herself but for me it was actually inspiring! It must be super good for the brain to say out loud that you have learned something new, partly you realize how much new things you learn all the time but I also think it will be easier to actually remember them as well.
For example. when Miska talked about our custodian account and I did not know what it was (an account at the bank for securities where we have our shares) I said out loud "now I have learned something new!" and it actually gave a little boost and now I never think I will forget what a custodian account is haha.

Another thing about learning new things - I usually try to say "I have not learned it yet" instead of saying "I can not". It becomes a more positive attitude for the brain than saying out loud that you do not know a lot of things, because it is clear that you can you just have not learned it yet! :)
Holiday puzzle
We are in full swing planning holidays for the summer now, what is complicated is that we have most bookings during the summer and as a Sweden resident and humble manager who cares about everyone, I can not say no to holidays during the summer too though it would have been best for the company. There are several companies that do not grant holidays during the company's busiest time, but it is a matter of course that you should rest and enjoy the little moment of summer that we actually have! Something else feels inhuman :)
That is why it will instead be a real puzzle. Truly a balancing act for me to make it work for the company while I do everything to make everyone happy. Families with children have to plan holidays with their partner, kindergarten opening hours, etc., so I understand that it is not easy for them either.
Now the holidays for everyone with fixed times are nailed and ready in any case! Pjuh! :) The schedule as a whole is not exactly finished yet but we are well on our way!

Weekend job
After the tough start to the week, I then had quite a few bookings, partly regulars but also make-up consultations that wanted to book me specifically, so when the weekend came I still had a lot of energy and inspiration to take on more inspiring tasks so it has become a lot of homework this weekend :)
On the one hand, I am making a very long post about make-up brushes, and as I said, I am structuring our beauty guides in the webshop. Previously, I only copied finished blog posts, but now I will focus more on well-crafted posts, e.g. this with the brushes will partly be there if you click on "beauty guides" but even if you go to the brush among the products in the webshop, the post will be there.
My plan is that there will be lots of inspiration and fun make-up tips to browse, I have a bunch of make-ups that are only made with products from Creative Makeup that are being added to the category "get the look" but also that when you goes into each product and there should be beauty guides with step by step, swatch pictures, videos etc.
It may not sound messy at all but it is a project that takes a lot of time! :)
Love to sit at home on the couch or bed and work, I can get so extremely focused when I feel really calm around me. The perception of time disappears completely and suddenly I have been sitting for several hours :)
I am aware that this week's pictures were not very inspiring and rewarding maybe hehe, but it is kind of only in front of the computer screen + with customers (which I then do not have a picture of) that I have spent my time this week.
But as the plans look for next week, that business post will be a little more speed and fan! :)
