Colorful mascara on the lower lashes

I have been looking for colorful mascaras for our range of Creativemakeup.se but not found any that I think are good enough. I usually do not use colorful mascara on the upper lashes, however, I think it is great on the lower lashes.

But to my great joy, I have realized that Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer works great to mix with eye shadow and paint on the lower lashes, so you can make a mascara from any eye shadow!

Here's a tutorial on it :)

Fint va? :)

Bassmink:
Face primer - Pixi Flawless & poreless primer
Concealer - Pixi Pat Away Concealer (2 Nude)
Foundation - gloMinerals pressed base foundation (Golden medium)
Powders for redness - gloMinerals Redness Relief Powder
Contouring & highlighter - Pixi Contour Creator
Rouge - Blush (35)
Fixing mist - Pixi makeup fixing mist
Net matting powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder

Brynpenna - Benecos Eyebrow designer (brunette)

Lip pencil - glo Skin Beauty Lip Liner (Soulmate)

I was asked on my instagram the other day how I could get such sharp lines even though I use pencils. This brown eyeliner with wing is also with a pencil, and it was not very sharp either.

The answer is that you need a pencil with a relatively creamy consistency so that it easily glides on the eyelid, as soon as you have to touch it, it becomes thick. And then just be light on the hand and "sketch out" the shape carefully and then fill in the entire eyeliner. You can see more in my tutorial below :)

Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer is a liquid that I mix with the eyeshadow, I usually do it on a small plastic thing I have on the dressing table but can do it on the top of the hand also if you want, then just wash it off later.

I apply with a flat and wide brush, it is the easiest to apply on the lower lashes without smearing :)

The turquoise eye shadow is Paese NEO Eyeshadow in shade 687.

  1. Paint a layer with the turquoise mascara you mixed yourself on the lower lashes
  2. Paint thinly on the skin right at the fringe as well
  3. Paint another layer of turquoise mascara on the lower lashes
  4. Paint the underside of the eyeliner wing with a brown eyeliner, Paese Linea Automatic Liner (Brown glam)
  5. Paint the top of the wing as well
  6. Fill in the entire eyeliner
  7. Silver white, shimmery eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the eyeliner, Paese Opal eyeshadow (Ice queen)
Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic last mascara

Clear!

Surely it's nice with colorful lower lashes ?? :)

Review - Antonio Axu Dry Shampoo

I was at the event when Antonio Axu celebrated 20 years as a hairdresser and have now for a fairly long period tested his dry shampoo Antonio Axu Dry Shampoo Blonde which I got in the goodie bag! :)

I have only read positive reviews about this dry shampoo but the first time I tested this I was actually not at all impressed haha. BUT I have run out of my favorite dry shampoos and used this due to lack of other things and actually start to like it more and more - and realized why I did not like it so much in the beginning. So I have actually changed! :)

Use
Since I have incredibly oily skin and thus also get oily hair very quickly, I am used to using a lot of dry shampoo, because my hair needs more of the degrading powder in the dry shampoo than many others need.

If you spray so much, Antonio Axu Dry Shampoo is not a booster in the formula, it becomes incredibly rough and feels almost dirtier when mixed with the oil on the scalp.

But as I said, I have started to like this dry shampoo more and it is simply because I realized that it is best if you spray more sparingly.

Results
This dry shampoo is very voluminous and gives a good stability, you can also build up some volume in the lengths of the hair, which I like!

Many people use dry shampoo more as a styling product than to absorb grease, and in such cases I can recommend this.

For my hair
For me personally, this dry shampoo gives more volume and "thickness" to the scalp than it absorbs oil, which clashes a bit as I love the volume, but if I spray enough to get rid of all the fat, the feeling becomes too dirty and uncomfortable on the scalp. If I spray in immediately after showering and blow-drying, the hair gets a nice volume and does not get oily really as quickly as usual, so then it works well, but if I use it several days in a row to get rid of all fat, it becomes too thick and gives a dirty feeling to the scalp.

Had this dry shampoo given the same volume but a slightly lighter feeling in the hair, it would have been perfect!

I also want to give an extra plus for large packaging, if you use it sparingly as a styling product, it will last incredibly long.

Here you see my hair 3 days after washing. I think it seems a bit that I have a lot of volume but that it is not so fluffy without the hair being quite thick and compact at the top. Which is nice but does not feel so nice when you pull your fingers through. Or I think it's just visible to me know of that it is so, what do you think? :)

Summary - I understand that many people like this dry shampoo if you do not have as oily hair as me, or if you wash your hair more often and only need dry shampoo for 1-2 days. So for those of you with less oiliness and who like to use dry shampoo as a styling product, I can definitely recommend this!

Hugs are ♥

Yellow & pink makeup

It's so fun how you can be inspired while sitting in front of the makeup mirror and suddenly you've done something completely other than what one had imagined from the beginning.

I was going to do a natural everyday make-up with just yellow mascara on the lower lashes and it turned out like this! :)

Everything else is a natural everyday make-up, everyone can probably agree :)

Bassmink:
Face primer - Pixi Flawless & poreless primer
Concealer - Pixi Pat Away Concealer (2 Nude)
Foundation - gloMinerals pressed base foundation (Golden medium)
Powders for redness - gloMinerals Redness Relief Powder
Contouring & highlighter - Pixi Contour Creator
Rouge - Blush (35)
Fixing mist - Pixi makeup fixing mist
Net matting powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder

Brynpenna - Benecos Eyebrow designer (brunette)

Lip pencil - glo Skin Beauty Suede Matte Crayon (Rumor)

Yellow and pink are so heavenly nice together I think!

  1. Yellow eye shadow mixed with the liquid Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer to make a liquid eyeliner / mascara, paint along the lower lash line and on the lower lashes, Paese cashmere Neo Eyeshadow.
  2. Pink eye shadow under the yellow on the lower lash line, Paese cashmere Neo Eyeshadow
  3. White eyeshadow on the inner lash line and black eyeshadow on the outside, Paese cashmere eyeshadow (602 black) (601 white)
  4. Eyeshadow primer on the eyelid, Pixi eye bright primer
Yellow and pink eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid as well
  5. Brown eyeshadow at the end of the eyelid, Paese opal eyeshadow trio (Caffe latte)
  6. Black eyeshadow sooted at the end of the eyelid also for a little more depth
  7. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear!

My business week in Mexico!

The first week of the holiday is over and the company has not gone under yet haha!

Freedom as an entrepreneur
Having a holiday is nothing unusual, all employees have it for several weeks every year. As an entrepreneur, however, it is a bit more of a luxury like this at the beginning of your career. You are locked into your responsibility, I have to work more than 40 hours a week and can never drop everything to 100% but need to be a little standby at a distance even when I am free and taking 5 weeks off would definitely not work.

But I still feel more free!

I do not have to ask anyone for permission before I go on holiday, I can take a last minute trip and I set up my working hours exactly as I want. If I want to work 24 hours straight one day to be free the next day, I GET :)

And not to mention the future, I will never want to stop working but can really long for both the finances and the practicalities to be so self-sufficient that I can set up every single minute of work exactly as I want without risking anything. Fy so wonderful!

Here was the first day on the beach, so happy!

Relax on the holiday as an entrepreneur
To be free from work tasks and to be able to relax and feel Being free is two different things. How did it go for me on holiday then? I have quite easily stressed out when I see work matters and have therefore deliberately turned off a lot. I have only answered the most urgent emails and those that are quick to respond, I have turned off notifications from social media and only check in quip (our communication program at the salon) when I have time to grab things if needed, I open not the notices when I'm lying on the beach, just woke up or something like that when I'm just going to enjoy the holidays.

I have not opened the schedule once, when I would book a customer in a few weeks who emailed me, I kept the screen before I changed the date so I did not see today's bookings haha. I know that if there are a lot of bookings, I will be stressed because it is stressful at the salon when we can not help at the reception. And if, on the contrary, there are big gaps in the schedule, I will be stressed about the finances instead as I can not do anything about it from here.

Now it sounds like me is stressed on holiday, but thanks to the above "rules" for myself, I have escaped it! :) I have had a few tosses of stressful thoughts but now I have come down to business and feel that I trust the staff at the salon so much that they come up with all possible problem solutions themselves! :)

Speaking of relaxation, I offer a picture of Miska on the beach! He is as calm as a person and that is exactly what I need, when I get stressed I have the calmest person in the world to lean on and it is really worth its weight in gold. Had Miska been someone who worries and stresses, we would probably have triggered each other so much that my nerves would have broken a long time ago haha.

Move to Mexico!
Last Monday we sat at breakfast for a very long time, you can take your own thermos of coffee to the table and we emptied it completely and just sat and felt life in us haha.

I always get so inspired when I sit with Miska and talk, we have decided to live abroad in the future but not exactly which country. Now that we are in Mexico, it feels like the obvious choice, I love the atmosphere, nature, wildlife, the air!

And where we are going to live in the future is very much connected with entrepreneurship, it's so easy to think "I want to start this, I want to do this!" but you have to basically go back and think ”how do I want to work? ” and build a career based on it.

I want a job where I am not tied to a place, but can work a lot at a distance. Then I can live anywhere in the world! So I do not want a "winter house" where I go when I am free, but want to keep my house at home in Gimo + have a house abroad where I live and work large parts of the year, then I can live in Gimo when I am at meetings in Sweden and greets the family :)

Understand so wonderful! And financially, there are no strange things, the only thing that has to work is that you should have a job where you can work large parts remotely. For a house in Mexico costs about as much as a house in Sweden.

What I love about Mexico and our hotel is the wildlife! It is crowded with polar bears (in the picture you see a baby!) And also agoutis (an animal I have never seen before you can google if you do not know haha) and lots of nice birds and even a deer lying and sleeping outside the balcony here a day. I love animals and see in front of me that I will be a crazy nose bear lady in our future Mexico house haha!

Delegate more
Last business week, I wrote under "learning by doing" that I often spend a lot of time on jobs that are not used to the extent that it is worth the time I spend.

Speaking of which, I also came across three (!) Times the same week that I took on more jobs that I did not really need to do. So what I wrote about last week was about things that could have been skipped altogether, but another thing that I also need to get better at is taking help from others and realizing that it is not necessarily I who will perform all tasks when there are other people with gaps in the schedule and I am de-stressed.

But it's so hard to delegate things because I take on stuff without even reflecting on it.

1. We received a booking request outside opening hours and a colleague asked if it was ok if Lisa worked longer that day. I was just about to say "I'll get in touch with her and ask" when I got the answer "I can call her and ask" and yes it was much easier than that I should be an intermediary and first ask Lisa and then pass on whether she could or not before the customer could be called again :)

2. Ida asked me if we had enough receipt rolls. I picked up the pen and was going to write on my to do list to check it out and she asked "I can check it myself otherwise I just wonder if you knew right away" haha.

3. Another colleague had a question about something on the pay slip that I did not know the answer to, they receive the pay slip in an email from our finance person and my answer was "I will email her and ask" whereupon I again got the answer "although I can email yourself ”haha. Again, I had just become an intermediary, which is completely unnecessary.

All of these things are super small, but many streams are small and when there are people who have time left over. Delegating more is my new New Year's promise haha!

Did you know that there is a "rule" that says that 20% of all the work you put in contributes 80% of the result? It's like I have 6 hard working arms but only one of them that does any good. Pretty frustrating haha.

No, now I will continue my Sunday here in Mexico! Hugs are!

Review: IsaDora natural matt oil-free foundation

I have received a press sample of IsaDora's new foundation Natural Matt Oil-free Foundation, which was launched last autumn. I have put this to the test and am now ready to give you a review :)

The product promises these properties:

• Soft, natural matte finish
• Velvety and radiant skin
• Oil free
• Elastic formula with a comfortable "second skin" feeling
• Minimizes fine lines and pores
• Very moisturizing
• Medium-covering and buildable
• Vacuum pump tube

Packaging
A pump bottle in a tub shape, which I think is both flexible and hygienic!

Formula
Light in texture and easy to apply. It sinks well into the skin without you having to work it in a lot. The foundation dries quickly but I think it is positive, but I think it is a question of definition whether it is good or bad.

I have the shade 10 and think it suits me well.

Application
I have tried applying it with both fingers and different brushes and think it will be good in every way.

It should be buildable, meaning that you can add more layers for more coverage, but I have not tested this myself because I like the coverage as it became and prefer to use concealer for more coverage in certain areas.

If you are very smooth in the skin and not as oily as me, you may get away without fixing with powder, but I have to have powder left over for my skin type.

Coverage
It is not comprehensive but it made me quite happy for most debilitating, oil-free foundations often have quite a lot of coverage as well and become like a matte mask on the face. But this one will be much more natural at the same time as it still has a lot of coverage so it gets a plus for that!

Results
The foundation becomes dull without feeling powdery and becomes smooth and even on the skin.

Durability and oiliness
I can not recommend this foundation for people with both oiliness and a lot of wrinkles, I have a stubborn wrinkle from the nasal wing down to the corner of the mouth and this foundation settles a lot in the crease there no matter how thin layer I try to apply and although I fix carefully with powder.

As for the oiliness, if you have as oily skin as me, there is no wow foundation at that point. I can handle it quite well if I have lots of powder that I press firmly on the skin, but with a "normal amount" of powder, I get oily already after about half an hour. I do the base first and then when I have done the eyes I have to powder myself again.

Award
Costs SEK 169 but I found it for SEK 165 HERE (Adlink) if you want to earn 4 kroner hehe, they also have free shipping.

Summary - Very nice formula, natural and fine coverage and also a plus because it does not make the skin as powdery matte and flat as many other foundations for oily skin. In addition, a plus because the skin becomes smoother. If you do not have wrinkles / lines or a lot of oiliness, I could recommend this. However, if you, like me, have some deep lines and also need a little more depressing results without needing a ton of powder, you should look further.

A 4 gets this one rated by me! Not all foundations can suit everyone so I feel that all the points that only have to do with my skin type (my deep wrinkle + that I am a little too oily for this) can not lower the rating so much. So, for some people this is probably a 5-pointer, but if you just read the product description, it sounds like I would be the perfect target group so it lowers the rating as for me personally it is on a 3rd grade.

Any of you who have tested this? What do you think? :)
