1

The world's best summer look when you're in a hurry are really nice sunglasses and a colorful lipstick, so nice!

I have been sponsored with a pair of crazy nice sunglasses from Fendi in collaboration with smartbuyglasses.se, new favorites! Love, love, love! Look what looks good:

Smartbuyglasses.se has lots of sunglasses, ranging from SEK 300 to luxury brands, which also have good prices! I could EASILY shop type 20 pairs from Fendi, is there a brand with nicer glasses? I love different, cool frames, which are still nice, and Fendi are experts in that field I must say! :)

You will also find other brands on the website, e.g. Ray-Ban, at very good prices.

I love these frames, feel a little special but still very useful and suitable both when you are a little more smart and on lazy days when you are more relaxed dressed.

Turquoise eye shadow this summer!

Hello and good morning to you this fine Sunday! Or is it just me who just woke up?

I am completely exhausted after a really intense end to the work week. On Thursday, as I said, we had a full day with Peragenda (business development), and on Friday we had quite a lot at the salon, but above all we moved-packed all evening. We have borrowed an apartment in Uppsala within walking distance to work for two months (LUXURY!) But yesterday it was time to move home to Gimo again.

So my Saturday morning started with emptying the apartment, then a FULL day at the salon with a total of 12 make-ups (!) + A few more customers. Zahra and I were fully booked until closing, and right after that she, me and Ida held a make-up course in a group with a group of 8 girls who had a surprise bachelorette party for their friend :) So incredibly fun! Have a lot of pictures I was going to offer a little later.

But now I am sitting at my mother's house, after a long morning of sleep, a number of cups of coffee and freshly baked bread for breakfast, with my cat Carl-Philip in my arms and thought of offering some summery makeup inspiration in one of my favorite colors - turquoise ♥

Surely it's nice ?! So summery, and also really nice to combine with gold and brown, which makes it easier to feel comfortable if you are not used to strong colors.

Hope you are as inspired by the collage as I feel :)

Now I'm going to enjoy a free Sunday. Hugs to you wonderful you ♥

Broad Eyeliner Tutorial

I received many compliments for the make-up I published yesterday, great fun! There was someone who asked if I could fix a tutorial on how to get an eyeliner that is a little extra wide like I had yesterday, so now I thought I would show it :)

It became a "classic" look with eyeliner wing and red lips, super nice!

Lips - gloMinerals Suede Matte Crayon (Bombshell)

tutorialsju_1112The eyeliner I have used is Paese Penliner.

  1. Paint a line along the entire lash line.
  2. Make a line from the outer corner of the eye and outwards at approximately the same angle
    - when I make such a wide eyeliner, I usually paint this line further down the eye than if I make a small eyeliner wing, then I paint this line a little closer to the French edge.
  3. Draw a line from the tip of the wing and tie together with the eyeliner on the lash line so that there is a smooth transition between the eyeliner and the wing.
  4. Fill in the entire eyeliner.
  5. Brighten up with white shimmery shadow in the corner of the eye and on the inside of the eyelid, Yag minerals eyeshadow (star white)
And a white matte shadow a little on the top of the eyeliner, Paese cashmere (601)
  6. Finish with mascara, Magnetic Lash Mascara

Clear!

IMG_5036_111

The trick is to make a wide eyeliner that still looks good even when you look straight ahead, and that's why I paint the wing a little further down / out of the eye when I make it so wide.

Because if yes had painted the lower edge of the eyeliner wing (step 2 in my tutorial) further up, the upper edge of the wing would have ended up at the crease line fold, which would not have been so nice because then the eyeliner "breaks" depending on how you look. Alternatively, you could have made the wing narrower, but then there will be no wide eyeliner;)

Hope this post was helpful!

Hug you and have a really wonderful Friday ♥

Behind the scenes - The time of transformations!

We have a lot of improvements going on at the salon, but there is a lot of planning behind everything and most of the time you think that things are going crazy too slowly and preferably should be clear just now! But the last two days, a few things have finally started to fall into place :)

One of the things (which is still not completely finished but there will be even more) is our lovely shop windows. We have long wanted as much transparency as possible as we have it so nice in here, but it results in our huge shop windows not being as good marketing as they could be. People see a nice salon, but do not really understand what we do in here hehe.

But yesterday finally came some of the signs we have ordered!

IMG_4726_111

Skillful Miska was a real star at setting everything up ♥

IMG_4707_111

Here you see both Annika and Enorma-Annika who are now also sitting in the shop window! She is completely unmade up in the picture and of course permanently represents the makeup part.

And this is how nice it is from the outside now:

IMG_5077_111

On one side of the corner room we have Alex who whitens teeth, info about Brilliant Smile (the brand we whiten with) and before and after pictures of teeth whitening. Fint va? :)

IMG_5084_111

And on the other side is Annika with tattoos made by her and Amir!

IMG_5089_111

There will be a sign in the middle window on the corner as well, and then smaller signs in the right windows on the side (inside is the store itself).

IMG_4954_111

And this is what it looks like in the evening! Fint va? :)

As I said, it will be even better soon. But a good start! You are very welcome to respond, what do you as customers prefer to see in a shop window?

But in addition to transformations in premises and appearance, we are also working on business development to become even better in that area as well. Me, Miska and Annika have gone on several course days with Peragenda before, which I also wrote about here in the blog :) And today it was finally time for a full day with the staff! How fun!

IMG_5072_111

Here you see the whole team ♥ Only Malin is missing but she only works from home and is on maternity leave.

We think it's very important to get everyone involved in this with Peragenda, it's incredibly educational and inspiring, and we want everyone to feel involved and think it's fun to make the company grow, and everyone was sooo excited after today's meeting, really fun! We are the best team in the world! :)

Now I'm going to lay in bed after a long day. Hope you had as good a Thursday as I did! Hug ♥
