I'm not very good at taking pictures, I know my stuff and know exactly what settings I should have and where the flashes should be for good make-up pictures for my posts, then it will be pretty good, but everything that is beyond that is not really my thing.

But we are currently planning signage for our shop windows and needed a good picture to show our beard products, and it felt a bit unnecessary to hire a photographer when I am still sitting on all the equipment really :)

So with some photo tips on how to get shadows on the face (which I otherwise put my soul into not getting in the pictures) it actually turned out pretty good!

Not so crazy huh? You will soon see this picture in our shop window on Vaksalagatan in Uppsala!

We will put up signs and show the outside more what we do here, right now we have some products in our windows but otherwise nothing so you see our nice premises but do not really understand exactly what we offer for treatments and so on.

There will be a lot of before and after pictures, among other things, great fun! Shows you when everything is ready :)

I promised you some before and after pictures of make-up made by our other makeup artists at the salon as well, partly because you like to see make-up on others than me but which are also made with products from the store :)

New makeup artists at the salon!

Now we are finally two more makeup artists at Creative Makeup By Her, so much fun!

Zahra has already worked for a while at the salon with threading, lashes and eyebrows some dates only since we opened in September, but from now on she works 3 days a week and also does makeup! Zahra has been a makeup artist all the time, but it takes a while to learn our products properly, which of course you want to get into before you start holding makeup consultations and the like :)

Ida is completely new to us, but has been a makeup artist since 2009, and you who look into the store from time to time have probably seen her already when she has been here a lot lately to learn all the products. Ida also works as an assistant nurse at the plastic surgeon at Akademiska Sjukhuset, where she, among other things, tattoos nipples on women who have had breast cancer.

Ida will start working with us one day a week to begin with, and do makeup, lashes and eyebrows (pick, color, permanent). So everything except threading :)

Super cute and super talented makeup artists! I will show some before and after pictures made of them also here in the future, get a very positive response on just before and after and think that it is certainly fun to see even when I have not personally done the makeup, but that it is with products from the webshop :)

Today's make-up is done with the eyeshadows Flirty & Feisty from the eyeshadow palette Nude Dude from The Balm :)

The eyeshadow I have applied to the eyelid was quite difficult to capture in the picture, but it is really super nice in reality! A discreet purple tone, almost a little beige purple, and with a very nice shimmer of gold in it! I also dabbed a bit of the golden shadow Faithful in the corner of my eye, the colors were as nice as possible together.

Permanent short eyelashes

One of the most common questions about permanent eyelashes is whether you can do it even though you have short eyelashes, many people think that there will not be much effect in any case then.

But the fact is that people with short eyelashes often notice a huge difference of permanent! :) You often have a very hard time with eyelash curlers and mascara when the lashes are short, and do not get a perfect bend so easily, but you get it off permanently and do not have to bother with it every morning!

Here is the before and after of a customer that Zahra permanent eyelashes on the other day, a customer who was over 70 years old and who has tattooed both eyebrows and eyeliner at Annika several years ago:

She has also plucked and dyed her eyebrows, but had an eyebrow tattoo basically already before, as I said.

Many people start to look bad over the years and putting on make-up only gets harder and harder for several reasons, then it is absolutely perfect with permanent makeup and then do lash and brow treatments regularly.
