Our beard products have become popular both in the store and the webshop, which I think is incomparably fun!

So now I have photographed the products a little closer and thought to write a post about what all products are for something and how they are used, so you get a good overview of our range today:

Cleaning:

Washing the beard is very important, think about how many bacteria it gets stuck there when you eat, itch, and from sweat and sebum that comes out of the skin, not least in the face.

If you have a little beard, it works with regular facial cleansing (do not use hand soap at all! A lot of people use hand soap on the face, but it's crazy too strong for the thin skin). Sanctum Men's Facial Wash is a face wash that cleanses both skin and beard, as well as soothes irritated skin that is common after shaving.

But if you have a slightly longer beard that needs more care to look good, then shampoo and conditioner that is adapted for just the beard is the very best. For the hair on the head is a completely different type of hair, so that shampoo will not fit as well.

Shampoo - Beardition Really Good Beard Shampoo
Beard shampoo with 100% natural ingredients, with a mild formula that is gentle on the sensitive skin of the face. It provides moisture, nourishment and has a caring effect on the beard. It contains organic aloe vera and Vitamin E, and has a mild scent of cucumber and mint from essential oils.

Balsam - Beardition Even Better Beard Conditioner 
For a softer and more compliant beard, it is good to use beard conditioner as well. This conditioner is 100% natural and has a mild formula that is gentle on the sensitive skin of the face. It provides moisture, nourishment and has a caring effect on the beard. It contains organic aloe vera and Vitamin E, and has a mild scent of cucumber and mint from essential oils.

Use
Start by washing your beard with shampoo. Then massage the beard balm into the beard and let it work for a couple of minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Massage in a beard oil after washing for best effect.

Both the shampoo and conditioner contain 235 ml, but there is also one travel set with 60 ml that you can buy if you either want to test before buying larger packages, or if you want smaller packages that are easy to pack.

We also have a beard shampoo from Mr Bear Family which in texture and use is quite similar to Beardition, both have a gel consistency and lather well. But Mr Bear Family Beard Wash is good if you want to wash your beard a little faster and not use conditioner after, a practical pump bottle that you can easily have standing on the sink and wash your beard quickly in the morning before starting the day.

In addition, the scents are different, Beardition smells more fruity and sour, while Mr Bear Family has woody scent notes.

Mr Bear Family Beard Wash is a mild beard shampoo that cleanses the beard without drying it out. It has a calming effect on irritated skin, is moisturizing and anti-inflammatory. Based on surfactants of vegetable origin, which gives a rich lather.

Contains caring ingredients such as shea butter, apricot kernel oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, argan oil, coconut oil, rosehip seed oil, sunflower oil, natural vitamin E.

Caring:

Finishing the cleaning with a caring oil will make a big difference to how the beard looks and feels, it will be less fresh, much more compliant and much softer and easier to handle. It helps both for the moment and in the long run to get a beard that is healthy and nice.

Light beard oil – Beardition Soft + Sweet Beard Oil
The beard oil from Beardition contains 100% natural ingredients and is good for both the beard and the skin under the beard.

It softens your beard, counteracts itching and irritation in the beard base, while providing proper moisture and nourishment to the skin and beard hair. It contains nourishing coconut oil, sunflower oil and green tea, and has a mild aroma of bamboo.

Use
Used daily or 2-3 times / week. Start by heating a few drops of oil between the palms of your hands. Massage the beard oil into the beard and beard base.

Heavier beard oil – Mr Bear Family Beard Brew (Woodland)
If you want a slightly fatter and heavier beard oil, the oil from Mr Bear Family is great, it is a little heavier in consistency than the Beardition oil.

Mr Bear Beard Brew is a beard oil based on natural oils that softens and refreshes both the beard and beard base. It moisturizes and softens the beard. It counteracts irritation, itching and dry skin. Easy application with pipette.

Contains almond oil, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, argan oil and essential oils. Has a woody and gloomy scent.

Styling:

A beard wax is great if you want to style the beard and make it lie the way you want, just like when you style the hair on your head.

Beard wax - Mr Bear Family Beard Balm (Woodland)
The moisturizing wax not only gives a naturally well-groomed look, but also relieves skin irritations such as itching and dryness. With a lovely scent of lush coniferous forest. Beard Balm is the perfect beard care together with Mr Bear Family Beard Brew. Made from 100% natural ingredients.

Application:
Take the product out of the jar, starting with a small amount, it is always easier to add than to remove. Gently soften the balm between the hands and then massage it into the beard. Use a brush or comb to shape the beard.

It is always best not to put fingers in the jar, for hygiene reasons and for a longer shelf life. Feel free to have a spatula or similar next to the wax that you pick up a click with, and easily rinse off after use.

Beard brush - Mr Bear Family Beard Brush
For you with a long beard, it is good with a beard brush, both to style the beard but also to distribute caring products evenly throughout the beard. In addition, with regular brushing, the skin under the beard is revitalized and counteracts a dry beard.

Shaving & trimming:

Even if you do not let the beard grow out at all, or if you want to trim the beard lines, it is good with fine shaving products to get a gentle and nice shave.

Use
Dampen the shaving brush in warm water and shake off the excess. Dip it into the shaving soap and use circular motions to work up a creamy lather. Apply on moisturized skin and massage in the shaving foam with circular motions. After shaving, rinse the shaving brush in warm water and dry it upside down.

Great that more men also open their eyes to us, and not only for beard care as everything we sell is suitable for all people, not just women. Even if you do not make up with mascara, eye shadow and that type of make-up, you may still want to conjure away dark circles, blemishes, highlight cheekbones, use good skin care, etc. and I do not think it should be "concealer for men" to it should feel okay to shop there even if you are a non-woman. Because it's exactly the same product anyway :)

And especially at the salon, we have a lot of male customers who fix eyebrows and lashes (although not everyone does an equally feminine shape as for example I have on my eyebrows) and permanent makeup, teeth whitening and manicure are treatments that are absolutely not gendered in some way.
