Eyeliner makeup with Pixi

I have received a request to show more eyeliner make-up in the blog and also see on Instagram that the pictures are a little extra appreciated, so here is an eyeliner make-up that is both black and a little "golden green", a good way to liven up a regular eyeliner: )

Face primer - Paese Makeup Base (Matte)

Tattooed eyebrows on men

At the salon, we are often asked if it is common for men to do permanent makeup, and it is absolutely! Not to the same extent as women, but it is not at all uncommon. Because although it is not so common for men to make an equally well-shaped eyebrow shape as women, they also want to fill in notches and irregularities in their eyebrows, and in many cases the entire eyebrows if you have few straws yourself.

For eyebrows is not as femininely associated as e.g. long eyelashes, basically everyone has eyebrows regardless of gender. So there really is a great variety among people who do this.

Here is an example of a male customer that Annika tattooed the other day:

I love that I have my photo studio in the salon now too, it is in my "blog room" so we do not photograph all people with it but some customers I lure in here and it is so fun to finally be able to show in good quality how good Annika really is is. When it comes to such small details as hair, it really is not the same with a digital camera in ordinary lamplight.

She's amazing Annika!

She has tattooed Sandra's eyebrows as well as I have photographed and will show you soon :) If you like to see some permanent makeup here in the blog as well?

By the way, Sandra has received a cancellation tomorrow, she was fully booked earlier but now there is a free time at 10.00 if anyone wants to book a make-up consultation or fringe and eyebrow treatment with her :)

Now I will crawl to the bus and when I get home I will:
* Buy two packages of ICA's crushed chocolate ice cream (my favorite)
* Take a long shower, lubricate myself and apply a thick layer of face mask
* Watch romantic movies and eat ice cream in bed

I'll simply have the world's best Friday night, myyyys! ;)

Silver sky smokey eye

We still have not had time to put gloMinerals news in the webshop, which feels a bit of a shame now that I have used a lot of those products in today's make-up. But I can not stick either because I feel very happy with the look and I am so in love with this lipstick!

Hope you do not hate me, and that you can stand for another day :)

The lipstick is a new lipstick pen from gloMinerals that becomes completely matte on the lips, and the color I have today is exactly to my taste. It feels nice, not dry at all even though it is matte, and it lasts really well too. I put on make-up five hours ago and now when I write, my lips are just as nice as when I applied the lipstick, so damn good!

But it's not the lips that are in focus in today's make-up really, I have made a midnight blue smokey eye which is the world's most beautiful winter make-up in my opinion :)

Cold and dark make-up - just like winter;)

All the eyeshadows I have used come from the palette Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in the shade Silver Sky.

Eyeshadow primer, Pixi Eye Bright Primer
Blue eye shadow on the entire eyelid
Gray eye shadow along the lower lash line and a little up along the globe line
White eye shadow In the corner of the eye
Light eye shadow slightly at the bottom of the lower lash line and below the brow
Blue eyeliner along the waterline and the upper lash line, gloMinerals Micro eyeliner (Navy)
Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara

Offers a close-up of the lips too, good-looking huh? :)

The bass make-up is almost completely new that will be in the webshop soon, I have used products from gloMinerals LUXE series and Pixi's new palettes for contouring :)

Review - NYX HD Foundation

I have tested NYX High Definition Studio Photogenic Foundation which is a so-called HD foundation, which with the help of light-reflecting ingredients creates a soft and even skin. This foundation should work both for everyday and for parties and even for professional photography!

In addition to light-reflecting ingredients, it also contains tri-peptides that reduce visible wrinkles and fine lines, so it should not only even out the skin for the day, but also in the long run.

Comes in a tube of 33.3 ml :)

Here are before and after pictures of my result:

Nice right? :) I have the shade Sand Beige which is a little too warm and a little too dark for my skin really, but it is close enough to be able to put it to the test for a few days!

This is how I experience the result:

Application - I think it looks best with a brush, but you can also apply with your fingers if you prefer. I use Nanshy Flawless foundation brush which is a flat foundation brush that you can easily work into the foundation of the skin with. It is very easy to apply, thin and smooth and glides easily on the skin!

Dryness - I do not have dry skin, but immediately after application, the foundation highlights skin flakes that I did not even know I had. Must remember to peel me tonight :) So I do not know if I can recommend it for a dry skin, but when you powder and it has been on for a few minutes, it melts a little better into the skin and then the dryness is not as clear at all . And I think that bit will be better if you apply with a brush compared to if you apply with your fingers.

Coverage - It is possible to get a comprehensive result by building up more coverage with more layers without it becoming cakey, but I absolutely think it will look best if you take a thin layer all over the face and then concealer where more is needed.

Feeling - The foundation becomes dull after application and feels very good on the face, neither dry nor sticky in any way.

Consistency - It has a very thin texture, not runny but not so creamy either. Thin texture but at the same time very good, I would say.

HD effect - It does not feel so leveling if you look closely in the mirror, I make up with the worst make-up mirror lamps + have a magnifying mirror in front of me, then I think that both my "cheek wrinkle" at the mouth which I often have problems with when I use liquid foundaion and which said the dryness is quite visible. But if you back up a bit and look at a distance of about 30-50 cm, I understand why it is called HD foundation, you look really super even in the face!

In areas where you have small wrinkles, I would recommend taking a thinner layer, because the foundation settles a little unnaturally there otherwise I think, maybe because it becomes quite dull and a little in the drier direction.

Sustainability - I who have oily skin get better results with other foundations, but I am clearly happy with the durability! It stays matte much longer than many others, and it stays in place all day.

Conclusion - A good foundation that makes the skin look smoother in the distance, easy to apply, good coverage and lasts all day. I have only tested my skin but do not think it is optimal if you have dry skin. No foundation I personally will continue with, but I think many of you may like it!
