Hi fine ni!

Today is my birthday, jeeeeej! So it will be pretty calm in the blog today as I did not have time to prepare posts yesterday. You only turn 22 once, so I thought I would take the opportunity to enjoy it a bit;)

I was woken up this morning by wonderful Mia, Meja and Mila (sister + niece) who sang so nicely and gave coffee and flowers on the bed, sweets ♥

Mia told me and Miska ”lie here and drink coffee and wake up for a while, then I start making waffles for as long as possible", So wonderful! So it was breakfast coziness with freshly baked waffles served on a conveyor belt while me, Miska and the children watched Eva and Adam with lit candles in the living room. You can not have a better start to your birthday than that :)

Now some guests will be coming here soon, and I'm in full swing baking some birthday coffee!

Three roll cakes with different fillings, which I have cut into small pieces and am making small cakes with cream, grated chocolate and freshly picked strawberries. Good huh? Mia has done most things I can admit haha, at least taken over my chores look like tight and prevented a lot of accidents;)

The savior in need of dry lips - pacifier ointment!

My sister Mia has been nagging me for several weeks now that I have to tell you about cream which is the only thing that has worked on her mega dry lips. And now I have finally grabbed the thing and photographed it!

She eats Isotretinoin, tablets you eat to get rid of oily skin, and then you instead become super dry and her lips crack in the mouth pores because they are so dry - if she does not use Purelan, a cream that is actually for irritated nipples, which she borrowed from my other sister who just had a baby :)

As I said, Purelan is mainly for the tits, but you can use it on all dry areas on the body. It is 100% natural and completely free of preservatives and such additives.

It costs about 139 and is available at most pharmacies, but is now on sale apotea.se and costs 105 kronor there and has free shipping.

However, one should be careful with it in the sun, the sister who has it on her lips constantly burned so much that she got blisters on her entire lips. But beyond that, it is apparently a full scorer :)

It is not a complicated cream, but simply 100% wool grease.

So now you know, if you suffer from super dry lips then it may be worth trying this!

As you know, I love volume in my hair, while I have quite a hard time getting it.

A superb product then is styling powder! It is not like dry shampoo that mainly dulls the oily scalp (then there is dry shampoo with other properties as well, such as volumizing for example) but a styling powder is only there to give volume and stability. Perfect if you have flat hair, or if you are going to do a hairstyle.

Wonderful this summer also when you have been out and sweating for a whole day, and quickly want to spruce up in the meantime / afterwards if you want to look a little fresher :)

Now I have tested Kevin Murphy Powder Puff which I got home from Nordicfeel.se, now I can not find the powder there (it seems out of stock) but they have other products from the same brand there if you are hungry :)

♥ Barely feels in the hair, does not give the rough annoying feeling that many styling powders give
♥ Gives a nice volume
♥ Feels mild on the scalp and does not itch even if I use it for several days
♥ Contains caring ingredients

I would have liked a little more volume to be a styling powder, which is also quite expensive, you have to puff quite a lot and also puff it up a little during the day also to get a sustainable volume. But for those of you who do not have a little "heavy" hair like me, or who do not want as much volume, you will probably think that this is perfect!

The powder contains extracts from apple, plum, cranberry and lemon, is light and quick to apply. I who have sensitive scalp notice that it is gentle on the skin, which feels like an important property.

I have tested Schwarzkopf Dust it powder before and know that many have done so I thought I would compare it a bit with this powder :) In short, Schwarzkopf gives more volume, so it is more effective and significantly cheaper, but it also feels a bit annoying for the skin if you have it for several days, and in addition it becomes almost impossible to pull your fingers through the hair that feels both rough and dirty from the powder.

So you who want more light and airy volume that does not feel, and who use styling powder every day, to you I recommend Kevin Murphy Powder Puff :) It costs 249 kroner on Lyko.se*.

The packaging is so incredibly cute too! Small and pink, with extra space for the thumb so that you get a good grip on the jar, and in addition, the holes in the "strainer" are shaped like a smiley :)

French manicure at home (5 steps)

One of the news from Paese that I wrote about earlier today is the kit "Paese French Manicure" which contains two nail polishes (one white and one beige pink transparent) and adhesive strips that help to get a nice French manicure that is sharp and has a nice shape.

You will find the kit ~~Byher.se,~~ (Unfortunately this has been deleted but I can recommend it this one from Depend instead) :)

How to do French manicure at home in 5 steps:

1. Clean the nails, preferably with nail polish remover, to remove grease and dirt from the nails.
2. Paste the adhesive strips provided in the kit. Paste them where your own nail top starts, or at least no further out towards the top than that. Try to paste in the same place on all nails, and file them to the same length for a proportional result.
3. Paint the tops white.
4. Wait until the nail polish has dried and carefully pull off the strips.
5. When you are completely sure that the white tops are dry, you can paint the transparent begier pink nail polish on the entire nail, even over the white tops that come past the white. If you want more gloss and effect, you can paint two coats with the last varnish.

Then it's ready!

You should never fiddle with sharp objects under the nails, and the further out the "tip" of the nail begins, the better. As you can see on my index finger, my nail is stuck in the skin all the way to the top, and the light tip is simply just outside the finger - it is a sign that the nail is fine!

The best thing is to paint the tip where your natural tip begins, so that you do not see the natural tip before the white one. And I think it is best if you file the nails to the same length and try to paint the tips the same length on all nails :)
