New tattoo? Use tattoo oil!

I was at an event with Me Anima this spring, and got a tattoo oil in the goodie bag afterwards.

After that, I have been eager to get a tattoo almost exclusively to be able to test the oil haha. This is because Annika (at Creative Make Up) fell in love with this after testing it, and often uses it on customers after permanent makeup. I have tested how it feels on the skin, but also want to be able to put it to the test properly, but it will have to wait unfortunately :)

But Annika likes it so much that she thinks about having it included in the price when tattooing freckles, because then it is important that the redness subsides quickly and that the freckles heal quickly. Because it's not as nice to be as red as you are afterwards, and there is obviously a super big difference between using the oil or not. The skin soothes and the tattoo gets nice much faster with this tattoo oil.

The oil consists mostly of sunflower oil, coconut oil, castor oil, vitamin E, and lavender oil which gives a good scent. The oil soothes, protects, nourishes and moisturizes your tattoo.

I think it feels very nice on the skin! Had it been an oil for the body or cuticles or the like, I would have said that it is a bit too heavy, but for a tattoo for extra care (or if you have some super dry areas) I can imagine that it is cruel! And I like to have it on my lips too :)

It does not enter the skin super fast, but it does not feel sticky either, but you feel that it has been lubricated for quite some time. The scent is quite mild for smelling lavender, essential oils can easily smell very strong I think (and so do some of Me Anima's oils) but this one is not so strong actually, but noticeable.

It comes in a spray bottle, which I think is smart when you have to lubricate a specific area like this, then you do not have to pour the oil into your hands first but can spray directly on the area.

As I said, I can not give it two thumbs up without having tested it as it should - on a tattoo, but I can definitely say that I believe in it, and Annika talks so much about it that I dare to recommend it without having tested on your own tattoo actually :)

The oil is on meanima.se and costs SEK 199 for 50 ml.

Vanilla Chocolate with a hint of blueberry

I received this comment the other day:
Do you have the opportunity to do an everyday make-up with a little color click for brown eyes?
I'm a little shy when it comes to color around the eyes but would like to dare more. That would be great.
Your blog is awesome! ”

To start learning to dare more (because it's mostly about habit), it's a good idea to hurry slowly. Start with a colorful detail, preferably on the top of the eyes so that it "peeks out" a little between the eyelashes and is most visible when you blink.

Then you can continue with color e.g. under the eyes when you feel ready, and finally larger parts of the make-up :) I also recommend trying it out in peace and quiet, try some day you should just be at home and not "now I should take the opportunity to have a fun color at this party! ” and then not feel comfortable.

As for brown, that color has no complementary color in that way, as it is a mixture of colors and not a specific color in the color circle. There is therefore not a right color that emphasizes, but you have to think more opposites, brown is a warm color and is therefore emphasized by cold tones, e.g. the coldest color is blue, but also gray, silver, and all colors that have a cool tone. Shimmer can also make brown eyes pop a little more.

Therefore, I have now done a soft everyday make-up with bright earthy colors that go a little in the cold direction, and a blue color click along the upper lash line :)

It is super easy to do, but I have actually also filmed so if any day a fastforward tutorial comes on this one as well. Hope you like the look!

Skin care from Rapsodine

I received a press release with a shower cream and a body lotion from the Swedish brand Rapsodine last week, and I fell for them already at the first use!

I like this brand :)

IMG_7659_111

Rapsodine is a Swedish organic brand, more specifically a family business based in Mariestad where all products are manufactured in their own factory. All raw materials come from Sweden, and the common thread in the content, cold-pressed rapeseed oil, comes from one and the same farm and is KRAV-grown. In addition, all packaging is made of recyclable material.

The prices are not super high either, at e.g. Vitaminvaruhuset.se there is a lot of the range and they are currently on sale, so all products cost between SEK 55-99.

Rapsodine Body Lotion is a creamy and wonderful cream that contains heather extract and rapeseed oil. Heather cares for the skin and helps preserve the skin's elasticity, and rapeseed oil is rich in vitamin E and has a long moisturizing effect.

I like it mainly because it goes into the skin so incredibly fast, even if you take a lot of cream, and the skin becomes so smooth afterwards!

The scent is natural and mild, does not come up with a better explanation, a bit floral but not "classic floral scent" either. I like the scent anyway, mild and light.

Here you see a picture of the cream:

Two big thumbs up get this body lotion from me, love !!

IMG_7668_111

Rapsodine Shower cream contains rapeseed oil and extracts from juniper shoots that together nourish and moisturize the skin. The shower cream is very light, thin in texture without feeling too runny, and it foams a lot and feels very nice on the skin. Has about the same scent as the lotion. A mild, light and lovely shower cream that I also like a lot :)

Two thumbs up in other words, and I get incredibly eager to try all the other products from Rapsodine! ♥

Got sent home a fun almanac the other day - The Trend Calendar!

Each page is a page with the days of the week summarized, and a page for notes, and on each week there is "Inspiration of the week" which is a QR code you scan with your mobile.

And if you scan week 39, you will come to my blog :) ♥
