Wedding make-up - Before & After + Products

I had a super lovely customer here last Saturday who was going to a wedding (her friend was getting married, not herself) and wanted to be a little extra spruced up in honor of the day! She went from Uppsala and came to my apartment :)

Before, I was a little bad at taking pictures of my customers, mostly think it's hard to ask the question, do not know why. But after you wanted more customer photos, I have taken up the matter and again this time I took out the camera and took before and after photos that you will see :) Hope you like it!

She was so nice:

In principle, she does not use make-up at all otherwise, sun powder and mascara regardless of the event. So we did a soft and down-to-earth make-up that highlights her fine features, while still feeling like herself. It felt most important :)

Products I have used:
Face primer - Paese Makeup Base Matte
Foundation - Zuii Organic Powder Foundation (Hazelnut)
Highlighter - Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (605)
Bronzer - Paese Bronzing Powder (2M)
Rouge - Zuii Organic Sparkle Blush (Melon)
Powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder
Lip Gloss - Paese Balm Lip Gloss (621)
Eyebrows - Benecos Eyebrow Designer (Brown)
Eyeshadow Primer - Pixi Eye Bright Primer
Mascara - Wonderlash Mascara Waterpoof

The eye shadows are "Annika's favorite shadow" which I sold on creativemakeup.se before, as well as a palette from Paese whose shade has expired. So they unfortunately no longer exist.

Hope you all got off to a great start to the new week :) Hugs!

Gift tips

My sisters' friend Ronja turned one yesterday, and I could not help but take some quick mobile pictures (did not have my camera) and take a picture of the nice kit they bought from Byher.se.

Love gifts that are a bit well thought out both in terms of content and appearance :) They bought a skin care kit with only pink products, and added a bottle of rosé themselves as the finishing touch. Look so nice:

Pirated makeup

Saw this movie on tv4 yesterday, and was not actually shocked, unfortunately!

If you look at the classic China pages, there are huur a lot of fake brands anywhere, among other things, it is full of MAC products. Or it did before anyway, went in and checked now and it has decreased significantly, so MAC has probably tackled the problem themselves perhaps.

But after a quick search, I found e.g. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, except that they very carelessly censored the MAC logo:

Do you know what a bottle like this costs on this page? Maximum SEK 20… But you get even cheaper if you buy many - then you can get one for less than SEK 10 each. It is very obvious to everyone who buys from here that it is fake - but think how many rogue entrepreneurs there are who try to sell this, a few thousand bucks purchases and then you can sell it in Sweden and earn a lot.

It's crazy!

Just wanted to warn you about it, it can be hard to imagine that it occurs in Sweden (did not really think it myself until I saw that clip) so do not be fooled :)

Video - Oily makeup for oily skin

Hi fine ni!

Here is a video that I hope is helpful for you who (just like me) have oily skin. I talk about how you can think about it when you want to get a nice and durable base make-up, show which products I use and also how I make a comprehensive base that keeps the skin matte much longer.

Half the video is talk and half makeup type, there is so much you can say about this :)

Hope you like it! ♥

O&M Project Sukuroi

Original Minerals (O&M) is a relatively new brand in Sweden, it is a brand from Australia that was founded by hairdressers who are tired of the fact that hair care often consists mostly of strong chemicals. They focus on products with natural ingredients, without compromising on quality. Quite the right attitude in my opinion :)

A while ago I received a press release on the leave-in serum "Project Sukuroi" from O&M, it was launched in Sweden this April and I have finally put it to the test!

Surely the jar is super nice?

What is Project Sukuroi?
A leave-in cream that strengthens, nourishes and moisturizes the hair, and gives it a nice shine and luster. Contains modern and fine silicones (there is a big difference between cheap / expensive silicones) and in addition, camelina oil and macadamia oil are high on the ingredient list. Also contains nourishing and strengthening ingredients such as keratin, aloe vera, vitamin E and evening primrose oil.

Sold at selected salons, and I can not find a dealer list unfortunately, you can google a bit :) But the price is 379 kroner in any case, and it contains 100 ml.

It contains small, small gold glittery grains as well, which were a little difficult to photograph but I got to it in the end:

I apologize - if it's not just me who thinks these pictures look a bit filthy together haha, reminds me of a p * nis and a yellow nipple: 'D

The humor is on top today… :)

What do I think of Project Sukuroi?
Result - My hair loves this cream! I have used it after quite a few showers now and have come to the conclusion that I like it the most when I take it quite sparingly in wet hair, blow dry, and then supplement with clean hair oil in the tops. The tops feel more moisturized and soft from it, than if you take more of this cream.

The hair feels very smooth, without being too, I do not really know how to explain, fluffy? When my hair is freshly washed and has many caring products in it, it becomes so smooth that it is a little difficult to get pli on, but with this, the hair feels smooth while it has a little shape and stability. I like that!

I want my hair airy, smooth and soft (many products lighten my hair easily) but at the same time I do not like when the lengths become too "cotton soft", but this cream makes my hair airy and soft, without weighing down and without that it becomes uncontrollably soft. Do you understand what I mean?

The small glitter grains give a discreet luster to the hair, in some lights you actually see the glitter grains if you look super close to the tops, me like :)

Use - It is very easy to use, shower and towel dry, take a dollop of sukuroi cream and apply in the lengths. Dry and style as usual. A little hard that it is a jar, because you should not put your fingers in the jar.

The texture is very creamy and delicious. I am not very much into the scent for some reason, but it does not smell particularly special and the scent does not last that long either, so I do not think it matters.

IMG_7413_111

Summary - Luxurious and good leave-in cream that makes the hair soft, shiny and well-groomed, without weighing down. I like it! :)

O&M has been around for a little longer in Sweden, have you tried any of their other products? Have read a lot about them, would be fun to hear!
