Cut crease eyeshadow tutorial

Today's make-up is a cut crease make-up, which means that you make up the eyelid in a different color than the globe line in a very sharp way :)

I have been inspired by the instagram account @Apropomakeup who does a lot of creative make-up with this style, I love it!

Offers a step by step too, hope you like the look:

Use of Konjac Sponge

I got some questions about the spa mushrooms from Konjac Sponge which I wrote about yesterday, so I thought I would make another post about it with a little more details :)

IMG_7180_111

"Are they mostly for just water or soap, or even for applying creams and face masks?"

Yes, they are probably not so good to apply products with, when I write that they can be used as a complement to washcloths and cotton, it is simply because they can be used for cleaning in that way, to have the cleaning on the sponge and work with it instead :)

The spa sponges can be used in different ways as I wrote in the previous post, but I usually first rinse the face with water and apply my cleansing cream on the face (apply with the fingers) just as usual, because you want so much of the product on the face as possible and not that it is absorbed unnecessarily much in the sponge. But then I soak the sponge with warm water and massage around the cleanser on the face with it! I rinse the sponge, massage, rinse again, massage and when all the cleaning is gone, I rinse the face as usual once as well.

Then I usually massage the face a little extra with the warm sponge as well, just because it is nice and good for the skin, the pores become clean and the blood circulation starts :)

You can also wash off the make-up completely as usual, and then just finish by massaging with the sponge instead of a peeling. It is gentle and gentle and can be used every day, unlike a regular peel that you should not use more than about once a week.

IMG_3959_111

The spa sponge for the body is, as I wrote in the previous post also, of the same structure as the facial sponges, which feels scrubbing on the face but the skin on the body is thicker so there the sponges just feel smooth and comfortable. So I use it as a regular soft sponge, and wash the body with it + shower cream. But you can massage the body with it without cleansing as well, for only the positive effect of the red clay that the fungus contains.

"Do they not become unhygienic after a while?"
It depends on how you define "for a while", just as with ordinary sponges, rags or the like that are regularly exposed to moisture, it is important to maintain hygiene! After each use, squeeze out the water and hang the spa sponges so that they dry properly. Then they become hard again and shrink a little until you moisten them again.

Just like with other similar products, this is not something that lasts for several years, but yes we talk for months of course :) And if you want them to stay fresh longer, there are tricks you can do:

* Rinse the sponge with cold water the last thing you do, then it is not hot and mushy before it dries but cold and fresh so that the bacteria do not thrive.
* If you want to be even more careful, you can also put it in the fridge, but I personally think it feels a bit excessive, but it says so on their website.
* Let Never the mushrooms lie on the sink in a pool of water.
* If you want the sponge to dry faster, you can hang it in the window for a while after use! Perfect in spring and summer.

I have oily skin and therefore use the mushroom with bamboo charcoal every day, is completely addicted to it!

If you have any more questions, just shout! :)

Colorful Eyeshadow Tutorial - Colorful Eyeshadow Tutorial

The sun continues to shine and my need for color only gets stronger and stronger :)

Here is another colorful make-up that I hope you like! I also show a little tape trick that you can use to quickly get a sharp line at the end of the eye:

All shadows come from this 180 palette except the black one which is from Paese.

1. Tape + black eye shadow at the end of the eyelid, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (602)
2. Fade the edge along the crease line, and then pull off the tape.
3. Orange, pink, lila and blue eye shadow next to each other on the entire eyelid.
4. Fade out the edges so that you get nice transitions between the colors.
5. Light eye shadow in the corner of the eye and at the bottom of the lower lash line.
Blue eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line and outwards under the black shadow.
6. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara.
Blue mascara on the lower lashes, IsaDora Precision Mascara (15 Flashy Blue)

Brushes I have used:
Steps 1, 3 & 4 - Nanshy Tapered Crease Brush
Step 2 - Nanshy Eye Crease Brush
Step 5 - Nanshy Pencil Brush

Lipstick, Benecos Natural Lipstick in the shade Peach.

Novelty! Konjac Sponge at Byher.se

Finally a news on Byher.se - a completely new brand that I really think is really good - namely Konjac Sponge!

Konjac Sponge is an organic natural sponge with several positive properties, and it is available for both the face and the body.

I want to remember that even Helen "Hiilen" Torsgården has written positively about this brand and called it "magic mushroom" :) so it's not just me who likes them!

konjac-sponge

Konjac Sponge are spa sponges with added clay that have different properties, and I have now taken my favorites home to Byher.se :) There are two sponges for the face, one for sensitive skin and one for oily and impure skin, and one for the body.

I use the sponge for impure skin every morning, and for me it is almost as wonderful as starting the day with a cup of coffee! It massages the face so heavenly nicely, and with a little day cream then the skin feels absolutely wonderful!

The mushrooms are hard when they are dry, but become incredibly soft when you soak them. In the face you feel that the net-like structure in the sponge scrubs the skin, without irritating, but on the body you have a little thicker skin so that sponge works more like a regular sponge, an incredibly luxurious one as the red clay has such positive properties :)

The mushroom contains bamboo charcoal, which is an environmentally friendly resource as bamboo is incredibly fast growing! Bamboo charcoal is naturally antibacterial and antifungal, and absorbs toxins and excess fat from the pores where regular cleaning is difficult to reach.

Use: Can be used daily as a supplement to cotton pads and washcloths, with or without cleaning product. Can also be used with just water instead of an exfoliation. Soak the sponge in warm / lukewarm water and massage the face with circulating movements, then hang it on the string and let it dry.

Konjac Bath Sponge - Red Clay is ideal for cleansing dry and mature skin on the body. It balances the skin's pH value and has soothing and rejuvenating properties. The fungus is also good for blood circulation, sun-damaged skin, stretch marks and visible blood vessels.

french-red-ing

The fungus contains red French clay which is rich in iron oxide which is known to stimulate blood circulation for a healthy glow. Red French clay cleanses the skin of dead skin cells and speeds up the regeneration process.

Use: Can be used daily in the shower / bath. Can either be used with just water, or with cleaning like a regular sponge. Soak the sponge with warm / lukewarm water and massage the body with circulating movements.

PinkKonjac

I googled around and found this nice collage on Konjac Heart Facial Sponge on zoenewlove.com, fine huh? :) Super nice to give as a gift too!

After just a few uses, I noticed a difference on the skin, it feels much cleaner and the pores are finer as well. The most beautiful thing is to start the day by massaging the skin and then have a face mask afterwards for a while too, then you feel!

The small facial sponges cost SEK 99, and the large one for the body costs SEK 129. You will find them all here.

Hugs are !! ♥

Hello!

Do you have a good Saturday? :)

Miska and I cuddle on Saturday as usual, and right now we are sitting on a bench in front of the Melodifestivalen of course!

As usual on the weekend, we have occupied my mother's house while she is at work, and we started with a hot bath with face mask, bubble and grapes:

IMG_7045_111

Miska took a quick picture before he jumped in too, crowded but cozy! The very best conversations take place in the bath :)

mid-Saturday

Miska made mega good skagen sandwiches that we ate in front of the wood stove and Melodifestivalen :)
