Umbrella lips

Today I thought I would show you a trick on how to make stylish and colorful ombre lips! And this tip basically only applies to colorful colors, because a shade that is too light can get a little greyish in this way.

Ombre lips are not super practical if you are going away and do not have great opportunities to improve, e.g. at dinners and things where the lips are easily destroyed. It is not as simple as improving a color on the entire lip. But it's incredibly nice if you will not eat / drink a lot, or if you want to be nice in a photo shoot or similar :)

This tip is great if you know what base color you want to use, but do not have any other lipsticks in matching shades!

ombre lips-step-by-step

1. Paint the base color on the entire lips, I have used Manifesto Liquid Lipstick in shade 910.
2. Dab black eyeshadow on the sides of the lips, and work it in so that it mixes with the lipstick. It should not look black, but only become a darker tone of the base color.
3. Lighten up the middle of the lips with a lighter color, I have used Paese Manifesto Liquid Lipstick in shade 901.

And then it's done!

The result is a full-bodied lip that enlivens the entire make-up! :)

Luxury problems - FOR good pictures

1

I spontaneously bought a new computer at the midday sale and have decided to sell it. It is started but barely used because I have continued to use my old computer instead.

It has been out on Blocket for a while and today I thought I would renew the ad because no one has taken it. I put it out for SEK 5,300 in the beginning (it cost SEK 5,990 on sale, but SEK 6,490 in new price) and now I would change my price to SEK 4,990.

But then it was not approved (The block goes through all the ads before they are posted) and I got this in my email from them:

Screenshots

Hahaha, my picture was apparently a bit for good so they think I have taken a studio picture from another website, which in such cases violates copyright :)

I got to email and explain that "I'm just a blogger with good photo equipment" Lol. In this picture (which is not in the ad) you see the drawer the computer is on - it is my perfume drawer that is full of good scents, and it in turn is on one of our white kitchen chairs :) So it is not so professional still!

Not any of you who are craving a new computer? You can read more about it here at the HP Store where I bought it :)

And if not, you can help me keep my fingers crossed that Blocket approves my picture so I do not have to take a picture with poor quality "just to" haha.

Hugs are!

Advertising on blogs

0

I read this post on Egoina's blog yesterday, and feel that I have to write about this myself too :)

I am completely for advertising on blogs (as long as it does not go to exaggeration of course) because we bloggers are actually like free newspapers, all info is completely free for you who read. But it is very important to always stand for their advertising, always be honest and also mark clearly when it is advertising. Surreptitious advertising is illegal and lying is immoral, it's that simple! :)

I would Never lie about a product to make money! And the few paid posts I make are marked with "sponsored by…." but they are also honest.

But there are blogs out there that are both illegal and immoral, and companies that do not care what. Surreptitious advertising with honest content does not do super big damage maybe, but if you are tricked into buying something that does not live up to its promise, it will cost you money!

Egoina publishes an email conversation between her and a company, which was actually so pathetic that it became fun haha. I received a similar email just a month ago, I would get several thousand for a post but one of the criteria was not to write in the post that it was sponsored, and when I wrote back that it is illegal and that I do not agree regardless of the amount, I got the answer:

"It is very possible that what you say is correct, can not take a position on this as I do not work at the tax office"

Haha that answer was just crazy :) The conversation was not even with the company that I would advertise for, but an intermediary who works to be the contact between companies and blogs. Disaster.

My purpose with this post is simply that you should advertise with a pinch of salt on some blogs, do not be fooled! But you can trust me to 100% and I actually think most blogs can be trusted! :)

And you who have been following me for a long time may remember my Revitalash incident with two other great bloggers a few years ago? I do not want to go into the details again, but in short, my before and after pictures with the fringe industry Revitalash were used to market a completely different brand! One blog wrote that he did not know about this but "got the pictures from the company". But the other blog knew the pictures were fake, because that person had even used the same picture with my eyes for a Revitalash post before. In other words, there were two posts from this person who marketed two different lash industries with exactly the same before and after pictures. Suck :)

And I do not think that any of them had tested the fringe industry because then they would have had their own before and after pictures, and there were probably several who went and bought the fringe industry because they "saw how good it was".

If you see these eyes somewhere, they are mine, and I have used Revitalash and nothing else :)

Hope you can see the difference between good advertising and bad advertising, and that you have a wonderful Wednesday !! ♥

Brown smokey cat eye makeup

Every time I show a cat eye make-up, I get cute comments that it is nice and "how do you do it?". I think it's super fun because it's really super nice, and the effect is very effective if you want a make-up that lifts the eyes :)

Therefore, today I thought I would share what I think is the absolute easiest way to get this shape nicely. Unfortunately, I do not have a step-by-step description, but I try to explain in detail so that you understand anyway!

Here are my top three tips for a simple cat eye:

Make up only on the top of the eyes
As you can see, I have not put make-up under my eyes at all, because if you are going to tie the lower lash line with the upper in such an elongated shape, it will be a much higher degree of difficulty.

Start from the eyeliner wing
What I have done is to start painting an eyeliner with a wing, and then just apply the eyeshadow on the eyelid inside this eyeliner, so that the black line is like the very edge of the makeup! Then just tone out the shadow along the globe line, and then you have a nice shape.

Choice of eye shadows
This make-up can be done with all colors, but if you find it difficult, I recommend choosing as dark a shade as possible because it blends more into the eyeliner so that any irregularities (both on the eye shadow and the eyeliner) are not as visible.

Then if you want a light eye shadow, you can in such cases use both a light and a dark. For example. one dark at the outer edge at the eyeliner wing and the light at the inner edge, or the light along the globe line and the dark along the entire eyeliner.

The lipstick / gloss is Paese Manifesto Liquid Lipstick in shade 901.

Black eyeliner with wing, Palina Drama Queen Perfect Liner Black.
Brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (604)
Light eye shadow In the corner of the eye, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (667)
Black mascara on all lashes, NYX Doll Eye Mascara.

Hope you understood my tips and that they were helpful! Just to shout if you have any questions :)

Hug hug!
