Luxurious perfume from Fueguia 1833

I was now going to show you a perfume that I have blogged about on Modernmom.se before, but then I had only tested it at an event and now that I have it at home next to me when I write (jeej!) I can describe it a bit better :)

I fell in love with this perfume when I was at an event in Stockholm last autumn, and I remember how I sniffed my wrist on the train home. I think it's wonderful!

Unfortunately it is very expensive, so it was not allowed to come with me home, but after the post about it I got an email from a cute reader who asked for my address, and guess what I got in the mail later;) Imagine the joy !!! ♥

The perfume I am talking about is from the brand Fueguia 1833, and the scent is called Agua Magnoliana. This is how the perfume is described:
“Pure and fresh scent of magnolia with an ounce of citrus and sweetness. The scent is a tribute to Magnolia Amazonica - a tree that can grow to a height of over 60 meters. At night, their white luminous flowers open and spread a euphoric scent. Main notes: Amazon magnolia, Santalum album, Grandiflorum jasmine The perfume comes in an exclusive handmade wooden box with lid. ”

Fragrance notes:
Magnolia, citrus and jasmine.

Should I describe the perfume in just three words, it is without a doubt healthy, clean and fresh, it goes a little in the sweet direction while it also smells a little sour.

It is a classic scent where you only think that the person smells good, and not that the person has a good perfume. It does not become sticky strong or slippery sweet in any way, but has an absolutely perfect balance!

And it is noticeable that it is luxurious even when you spray, because when you press it is not a hard spray spray that comes, but it is soft and "slow" so you have time to sweep with the bottle so that all perfume does not end up on the same area. In addition, you do not have to press down completely, and can therefore vary if you want a full spray or just a little.

The scent lasts a long time even though it is edp, and despite the price, it still gets five out of five stars from me!

Offers a picture from the event, here I stand with the perfume in my hand and am completely inside all the info I hear about the brand :) Of all the perfumes on the table, it was Agua Magnoliana that I fell for the most!

Fueguia 1833 is a South American fragrance brand that manufactures perfumes in its own laboratory in Buenos Aires. Founder Julian Bedel produces unique fragrances with inspiration and ingredients from Patagonia's nature, and the company has a great environmental mindset - each perfume is made by hand and bottled from recycled glass.

The handwritten the labels also make each bottle unique! Wonderfully! :)

Do you want to treat yourself to a little extra luxury, or do not know what to give as a nice gift to a person you like a lot, then I can definitely recommend Fueguia 1833 Agua Magnoliana, I am so happy that I have it!

Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday ♥

Palina Mascara Review (Drama Queen)

I got home a small package a while ago, and there it was, among other things Palina Drama Queen Mascara which is said to be Palina's biggest sales success ever!

The mascara promises the following properties:
* Make the lashes beautifully shaped / curved
* Intense blackness with shine
* Separates the lashes
* Maximum volume and gloss
* Lump-free result

Surely the sleeve itself is super nice? :) Feels luxurious!

The mascara actually costs SEK 235, but I now see that it is available for purchase HERE at a discount so then it only costs SEK 175 at the moment.

The breasts
When I opened and saw the brush, I thought "no what a pity" for these kinds of brushes, I usually do not be so much for, big and sticky. My lashes are difficult to separate, they like to stick together, and then brushes like this usually give a little cobweb effect. But to my surprise, it actually separates well anyway! :)

It is not a rubber brush separation directly, but for you who like volume and fullness, I think it has a reasonable separating effect, especially for you who do not have the same problem as me with your lashes.

Application
One layer is enough for an intense black result, and you can work with the brush without lumps or too much mascara on the lashes. The brush is very large, so for you with small eyes and / or very short lashes, it can probably be a little difficult to work with, but for me it works well. A little difficult for the lower lashes perhaps. It is quick to apply and looks great!

Results
The mascara bends the lashes well even without eyelash curlers, but not as well as with curlers, and gives a nice volume and fullness without becoming too much. You get a nice and classic result that does not become clumsy or spider-like even though you get volume. The formula feels light on the lashes, and they are still soft and flexible, neither hard nor sticky.

sustainability
The durability is great, it keeps the lashes curved and I experience neither smudges nor crumbs during the day!

Conclusion - This is a good volume mascara for you who like full and curved eyelashes. It lasts well all day and is intensely carbon black and stylish. No wow effect that many volume mascaras give, but I think it is positive because the result is fuller in a more discreet way than if you have a lot of mascara on the lashes!

I personally prefer mascaras that give more length and above all separation, so I probably would not spend 235 kroner on this, but I think many of you will think it is super good!

What eye shadows are needed in the make-up bag?

"Hello! I have a wish on posts: D I am very eager to order some eye shadows from creativemakeup.se. Would you like to compose a post where you show your favorites among the single shadows? Type which you use the most or similar, what you think you need for colors in your make-up bag that fits both for everyday and for parties. :) Thanks in advance! :) Hug"

Cool! :)

I was going to start by talking about Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow - full matte and silky eyeshadows that are available in lots of colors! Luckily the shadows only cost SEK 49, then you can afford several :)

I'm super happy that I have them all because they are really wonderful, but there are 6 that I really do not want to be without, they have become standard with me!

I use these bright colors the most:

bright

667 – All eye shadows are large and contain 5 grams, but I soon used this shade completely! For dark-skinned people, I recommend it as a light part of make-up, super nice, but for people with light skin, it is not only good-looking as eye shadow but also cruel as a matte highlighter for the face! A real multitasking shadow :)

606 – A perfect light gray shade that for everyday make-up is nice all alone, and for festive make-up it is super nice to combine with darker colors, e.g. carbon black and / or navy blue. Mums!

609 – Just like the gray eye shadow, this is a nice color both alone and with others. It is not only nice but also practical if you want to make a soft fade with a darker shade. Then you can apply this in the edges because it is easy to tone in with the skin color, e.g. a dark brown shadow on the entire eyelid and this along the globe line!

And if I have to admit one thing, I can tell you that I use 609 on the scalp as well, to get my rat-colored, dull outgrowth a little nicer! Just dab the eyeshadow on the growth with a flat foundation brush, and the hair will have a slightly better tone :)

I use these dark colors the most:

dark

604 – A nice, matte dark brown eye shadow is used too often! Can be applied only along the lash lines, as a complement to other eye shadows or all alone as a nice smokey eye. How good!

602 – A matte, carbon black eye shadow is something that everyone should have in their make-up bag. Perfect as a smoky eyeliner, to darken any make-up or even completely alone to classic smoky eyes. Incredibly useful!

679 – And finally, the eye shadow that is perfect when you not only want to be down to earth and natural but want to take out the turns with a little color. This navy blue eyeshadow is gloomy and nice, and I think that even you who do not use color so often will feel good in this one! Great both as a color click with other shadows (eg along the upper or lower lash line) or completely alone. I see directly in front of me this one with the light gray shadow, or why not as a sweep with Dr. Hauschka's navy blue mascara? :)

Shimmering:

shimmer

I love to combine matte and shimmery eye shadows with each other, both variants are nice but they look best together I think! These three eye shadows are the perfect shimmer shadows that can also be used alone, or to liven up any of the matte colors :)

11Paese Diamond Eyeshadow in the light pink shade 11. The color is discreet and nice but still very visible thanks to the diamond shadows are so shimmery that they almost become metallic!

Annika's Favorite Shadow - My favorite for several years now. A shimmery eyedust with a yellow undertone that is perfect both as a large part of the make-up or just in the corner of the eye / under the eyebrow as a highlighter. Available for purchase here but I do not have many left and now they are out of my wholesaler at the moment so when these are out I do not know when they will come home again!

Star WhiteYag minerals white eyeshadow that shimmers incredibly nicely! Has the same properties and uses as Annika's Favorite Shadow, except that this is chalk white.

You do not miss the "See make-up tab" on certain products on Byher.se? If you click there, a link will go to the blog, and then you can scroll through all the make-up where I have used the make-up that you are in and looking at!

An example - every time I use Annika's favorite shadow, I put a specific tag on the post, and then it automatically enters the link in the "See make-up tab" in the shop. In other words, these links are updated automatically and all the time, so if you click on it inside Annika's Favorite Shadow, only posts where I have used that eye shadow will appear. And I have such links on both eye shadows, lip products and eyeliners :)

And do not miss the "Tips tab" next to it either, there are tips and tricks about the products!

How to get long and strong nails?

So typically, as usual on Thursdays, I have been on Creative Make Up all day, and saw way too late that my scheduled morning post had not been published. Went in and peeked now and saw that it was time for October haha, such I actually do not have foresight :)

Anyway. A few months ago I wrote a post on Modernmom.se with tips on how to get long and strong nails, and it was very much appreciated so I thought I would bring it up again :)

All my life I have thought that I simply do not have the genes to get long and nice nails. They have always been soft and so thin that they are basically transparent, they have sliced and gone all the time.

But about a year ago, I became more and more careful with my nail care, and I notice such a huge difference! My nails get so long that I have to cut them with nail scissors (has never happened before), they are much stronger and also they are not transparent at all anymore.

The changes I have made are not really that big and I thought I would share my tips with you today, but what I have mainly done, which I think has contributed the most, is to lubricate the cuticles!

get-long-nails1-670x452

This is how I never thought my nails could look! The picture is not completely new because now I have cut my nails a bit, so that they would not be as long when I take my swatch pictures :)

Of course, there are thousands of different tips on how to get longer and stronger nails, but here are the three points that I do and that work for me:

Tip 1 - Lubricate the cuticles !!
This is probably what has made the biggest difference in the long run. The nails are "made" at the cuticles, so it goes without saying that a healthy cuticle will give stronger nails. I have heard that you should lubricate the cuticles three times a day, I have not been really that good but at least once a day at least.

The best cuticle lubrication is the one that gets rid of;) so choose a product that is easy and quick to use, and have it lying next to the bed / computer / TV or similar so that you lubricate the cuticles regularly.

I have not used only one product all the time but tested a little different, both creams and oils. The most important thing is to use a thin product with such small molecules that it goes into the thin skin around the nails, and right now I use Beneco's organic Nail Care Pen, it's great!

IMG_1769_111

Benecos Nail Care Pen (SEK 79) is an organic cuticle oil with natural ingredients, including jojoba oil, almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, chamomile and vitamins E and F, which together moisturize, repair, care for, protect and soothe dry and irritated cuticles.

You simply screw the bottom of the pen to get oil in the brush, which means that you can easily choose the amount you want. I have tried many similar products that are either too dry or too sticky, but this one is perfect.

The oil quickly penetrates the skin as well and the cuticles become soft and supple!

Tip 2 - Do not peel under the nails
I do not really know what the skin under the nails is called on "real", nail plate? Anyway, it will be like a support for the nail so it is good if it can be as long as possible. Therefore, do not peel with sharp objects under the nails! It is best if the nail is stuck in the skin only at the fingertips. You see what I mean by the marking on the first picture in the post.

Use a nail brush to clean the underside, and do not use the nails as a tool so that the nail and nail plate are destroyed for that reason as well.

Tip 3 - Use acetone-free nail polish remover
I always used remover with acetone when I removed the nail polish before. It both stinks and dries out, not good at all! Now I use Paese Nail Polish Remover which is acetone-free and both nourishes the nails (with vitamins E, F and glycerin) and also smells good of tropical fruits! :)

IMG_6017_111-copy-2

Paese's nail polish remover is a super smart pump bottle, so you just press the cotton against the opening and you get a fair amount! :)

In this picture I had long salon nails, oh oh oh how long they were sometimes when I had not fixed them for a long time haha. Many people's nails get worn out when you, like me, have had gel nails for a year, but mine are still beautiful no matter what and it's thanks to me taking care of them!

Speaking of which, by the way, there are still questions about my collaboration with the nail salon and whether the discount still applies. No later than two days ago. But it does not, I no longer have any cooperation with that company and if you go there you have to pay full price.

Hope the tips were helpful, and remember that it takes time to get nice nails from scratch, you only notice the difference when the new nail has grown out of the nail plate!

Hugs are ♥

Make-up that lifts the eyes

I've got a little craze for cat eye shapes now that only focuses on the top of the eye, it lifts the eyes so incredibly effectively!

And I could not help but show a step-by-step make-up with the tip I gave you on Tuesday - to start with an eyeliner with a wing and then make the eyeshadow shape from it.

Hope you like the look! :)

This make-up not only lifts the eyes, but also highlights them nicely with these lovely eye shadows! And for us with blue eyes, it highlights a little extra as gold highlights blue :)

The lipstick is Paese Lipstick with argan oil in shade 37.

1. Black eyeliner with wing, Palina Drama Queen eyeliner.
Golden eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Yag mineral eyeshadow (Rose Gold)
2. Brown eye shadow above the eyeliner wing, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (604)
3. Copper red eye shadow along the globe line, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (670)
4. Fade out the edges and transitions between the shadows.
5. Light yellow eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Paese Shimmer Trio Eyeshadow (105)
6, Black mascara on the upper lashes, Oriflame The ONE 5-in-1 WonderLash Mascara.

Hope you were inspired and have a wonderful day! ♥
