Romantic make-up

Today's make-up is a very simple and romantic look, which is quite discreet but still has all the focus on the eyes. And in addition, a purple color click is visible every time you blink, which makes the eyes more interesting and flirty!

Hope you like it, and get inspired for Valentine's Day maybe even though there is a whole month left :)

Eyeliner tutorial

I have recently received many requests to post a tutorial and show you step by step how to make a nice eyeliner with a wing, so now I have done it! :)

Hope it is helpful ♥

I have used Paese Penliner from Byher.se, it is out at the moment but I will take it home again!

eyeliner-with-wing 1. Paint a thin and sharp line along the entire upper lash line.
2. Paint a line at the same angle as the lower lash line, as far out as you want the wing to be long.
3. Look straight ahead and double check from the side so that the line is straight even when you look ahead. The small skin fold from the globe line can "break" the eyeliner wing otherwise, and then you have to try to paint this line so that it is not so close to that skin fold.

Tip! If you have a lot of skin on the eyelid and have to paint the wing very far out from the eye so that it is not broken by the skin fold from the crease line, then paint down the eyeliner also at the bottom of the lower lash line so that you connect the wing with the underside of the eye. Then you get a shape that lifts the eye more, because if the eyeliner wing ends up too far out of the eye, it does not lift the gaze, but just looks like a thing that does not belong to the make-up.

4. Shape the wing by drawing a line from the outer tip that gently blends in with the line along the lash line.
5. Fill in the small void in the wing and possibly paint more eyeliner to smooth the edges if necessary.
Use a black eye shadow or eyeliner and mark the lash line so that the skin is not visible between the lashes. Then the make-up will look more finished when you apply the mascara later!

And this is what it looked like when it's done!

You can vary an eyeliner with wing very much, make it wider, etc., but this is a nice suitable everyday eyeliner :)

Shout out if you have any questions!

News from Living Proof

I have liked all the products I have tested from the hair care brand Living Proof, and the same applies to their two January news which is "Instant repair"And"Instant protection”- a repairing lotion for the hair and a heat protection!

IMG_9057_111

What I like about these products is that they barely feel in the hair except that they do their job and give the hair a really good scent. Absolutely perfect for me who needs a little "extreme" products on the scalp for volume and dullness, but in the long run I still want a light and freshly washed feeling that just looks fresh and shiny, and you get that result with these :)

In addition, they do not contain silicones. I am not against silicones in general, but because my organic hair care from Sanctum is natural and silicone-free, it still feels stupid to use silicones afterwards.

Living Proof Restore Instant protection is a heat-protective spray that protects the hair from heat up to a full 232 degrees! In addition, it has UV protection for 24 hours so it is great when you are in the sun! Perfect this summer, or for you lucky ones who are going abroad before. I like the spray on this one, which sprays evenly and softly.

Available in two sizes, 60 ml costs SEK 139 and 188 ml costs SEK 219.

Living Proof Restore Instant Repair is a multifunctional cream that makes hair stronger, shinier and prevents split ends. Apply to damp hair after the shower. The hair becomes soft, smooth and looks healthy!

Available in two sizes, 50 ml costs SEK 139 and 118 ml costs SEK 239.

I can not find a website where these products are available to buy online yet, but there are many hair salons that use and sell Living Proof and it should have started to be sold now :)

Kisses & hugs ♥

Colors speaks louder than words (Purple & Pink makeup)

I think many of us need a little extra color in everyday life now that it has been winter dark for so long!

And you do not have to buy a colorful eyeshadow palette and do a tropical parrot make-up to do this, but a colorful mascara on the lower lashes and a nice color on the lips also do super much :)

It's the kind of makeup I was going to show you today, I hope you like it!

It started with me just being so eager to use this super nice dark pink lip gloss, and then I continued to put on make-up based on that :) Nice huh?

The lip gloss is the Paese Manifesto Liquid Lipstick in shade 904.

Metallic blue eye shadow on the eyelid, Paese Diamond Eyeshadow (30)
Light eye shadow In the corner of the eye, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
Black eyeliner with wing, By Terry Ligne blackstar.
Pink mascara on the lower lashes, Anastasia Hypercolor Brow And Lash Tint (pink)
Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic Lash mascara.

Hope you have a wonderful day! ♥

Webshop plans and testing of products

IMG_7431_11

In 2013, I started the webshop (though not Byher.se because I opened it in June 2014) but the first year was more to test if there was interest and generally if I myself would think it was fun as well. Which I do !! :)

Then 2014 was the year when I decided that I would really invest in the shop, so it had to be an experimental period to see which products sell the most and which direction I should target as well. It is difficult when you, like me, start on square one, both financially and from experience, then you have to start slowly, work your way forward and learn along the way.

Now 2015 will be the year when I have both the advice and the knowledge to invest in more brands and bring in much more products! In the past, many products / brands have come and gone a bit anyway, but now the idea is that I will have a more structured range that I will continue to bring in continuously, nothing more "unfortunately this product will not be taken in anymore". There are still some left in the shop but they will be out soon.

But as you know, I am very picky about what I take in for products, I only sell things that I think are good. That's why everything goes a little slow too, some brands you have to take in the entire range of and then a lot of "shit" comes with the purchase, and I do not want that. And besides, it takes time to test all the products properly before I shop home!

Now to what I wanted to say with this post - It has started to roll in a lot of test products for me now that I am putting on tests before it is time to take home to the shop. And I have already had time to sneak-test a lot of things without it having to be seen in the blog, but now it is so much that there will be a lot of "secret products" in my make-up in the future.

In other words, there will be make-up now where I do not print out the product names of certain things, then it is simply something that is not available to buy yet but which will eventually be available on Byher.se if it is good stuff! :) Hope it does not disturb too much!

2015 is also the starting shot for another huge project that I will be a part of, but it will be a while before I can reveal it to you. Meeen you got a little teaser anyway, and may in the future keep in mind that I work with something big without you knowing about it, just because it's fun;)

Hugs are!
