My year

2

When it was December I got a little inner panic, I started thinking back on the year and got a feeling that not much has happened…

But then I looked back at the posts I made a year ago and thought Was that just a year ago !?”. And when I started thinking about it, it was actually an extremely eventful year for me! Now I do not even understand why I had so many blog readers even then, my makeup pictures were really bad compared to now haha!

Highlights 2014:
♥ I have been nominated for "Beauty Blog of the Year" in the VR Blog Awards!
♥ I have had several different hairstyles and hair colors (not like me!)
♥ My blog has become much, much better, both the content and the photos.
♥ I have started a brand new webshop - Byher.se!
♥ I have done many fun makeup jobs, including the winning photos in the Tendenz Stylist Awards 2014.
♥ I have offered laughter - e.g. happened to use tan without sun instead of lotion, haha.
♥ I have taken a driver's license!
♥ I have attended an airbrush training.
♥ I have been recognized by blog readers in town who came forward and said hello.
♥ I have declared my company for the first time (I do all the accounting myself) and it went well!
♥ Miska and I have had the world's most wonderful holiday trip in Cape Verde!

A year ago there was like not even Byher.se! I initially tried to bring clothes into the shop as well, and I have also had time to stop with that part. In addition, I have found and taken in great beauty brands, and more are on g I can tell you like this in secret;)

And you know what, if my company increases as much in percentage next year as it has done this year, then I will even be able to take out a "normal" monthly salary like any working person :) Then I will laugh at this the post later, and that today I got "not allowed" on the card at ICA when I would shop for 60 kroner haha.

This year I have simply had a really good time, and I'm so excited for 2015! It will be a really exciting and eventful year! :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !!! You are the best :) ♥

From job make-up to New Year's make-up!

Am I the only one working all day today? At 9 o'clock I take the bus to Uppsala and as soon as I have colored my eyelashes on Annika (who owns Creative Make Up) we will start and do New Year's make-up on a conveyor belt, it will be super fun! :)

If any of you live nearby and are eager to be New Year's beautiful by us, you can probably book an appointment at the last minute, both me and Annika are at the salon so we can probably squeeze someone in because we are two!

I myself actually have no galley planned tonight, me and Miska are going to drink bubbly and eat shrimp sandwiches just the two of us, we thought. But for those of you who work during the day and have to turn your everyday make-up into New Year's make-up, here is some inspiration!

Everyday make-up that I quickly turned into a party make-up!

On the everyday make-up I just had:
Copper reddish brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow in shade 670.
Dark brown eyeliner along the upper lash line, Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade (Dark Brown)
Black mascara on the upper lashes, Golden Rose Miracle Lash Mascara.

Then I added:
White, shimmery eye shadow In the corner of the eye, Yag mineral eyeshadow (Star White)
Golden eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line, Yag mineral eyeshadow (Rose Gold)
Gold glitter in the corner of the eye, innermost on the eyelid and lower lash line, Kryolan Glamor Dust.
Black eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line, Paese Matte Black Eyeshadow.
Brown eyeliner along the waterline, Paese Linea Automatic Eyeliner (Brown Glam)

And changed the lip gloss from Paese Balm Lip Gloss (shade 624) to Paese Manifesto Liquid Lipstick in shade 911.

Hugs are!

Glamorous eyeliner pencils

Now there is a new color of the eyeliner pen Paese Linea Automatic Eyeliner!

It has previously been available in black, brown and blue, but now it is also available in the purple shade Plum Glam! What I love about this shade is that it is not as cold purple blue as many purple pencils are, but it is more plum purple and a bit grumpy, and I think it's so nice :)

Here you see all the shades, Black Glam, Brown Glam, Blue Glam and Plum Glam.

Surely they sparkle nicely? They are also waterproof and last well along the waterline!

The pens cost SEK 129 and are available Byher.se :)

Copper red make-up - Soft red make-up

I was actually going to offer an everyday make-up like this the day before New Year's Eve, crazy enough hehe. But tomorrow morning I will show you how you can easily turn it into a fun party make-up in just a few minutes, so it might be helpful anyway for you who (like me) will work all tomorrow and do not have much time to get ready to party afterwards!

I showed you a similar make-up not too long ago, but I think the pictures were not so good then (that was before I bought my photo flashes) so I show it again because this eye shadow is really crazy good looking! Type copper reddish brown :)

Lip-gloss, Paese Balm Lip Gloss in shade 624.
Nail polish, Nail Polish in shade 319.

Copper reddish brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow in shade 670.
Dark brown eyeliner along the upper lash line, Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade (Dark Brown)
Black mascara on the upper lashes, Golden Rose Miracle Lash Mascara.

I thought I would show the nail polish in a picture, and then all the nice pictures were the ones I have my hand on haha. But it was nice so it did no harm;)

Hope you like the look!

Hugs are!

Bling, bling on New Year's Eve

I was not so careful now but just wanted to take a quick photo to show you, but a tip for New Year's Eve for you who want real bling, bling make-up, it is to attach rhinestones to the eye!

You can attach the stones either nicely on the side of the eye, or just in the corner of the eye, or on your eyeliner maybe. You can vary exactly how you want in other words :) It almost only looks like gray dots in my pictures hehe, but it looks really nice in reality.

And besides, if you have failed with your make-up, maybe got an uneven smokey eye, then you can use the stones to hide the bad as well;)

If you want to see more pictures of the make-up, before the rhinestones, you can click here :)

I have used small, fine stones, both square and snowflakes, which are actually for the nails. I do not know if these are left but they are from Depend in any case!

It is super easy to attach them, I have only used false eyelash glue and tweezers.

Hugs are!
