80s make-up (Step by step)

Is "80s makeup" really special? Do you not write 80s make-up? It looks so wrong but "everyone on Google" writes it so then I do it too haha :)

I have received a request to show an 80's make-up step by step here in the blog! I do not know any specific details such as requests for colors or the like, because it is a person at Miska's job who has requested this make-up via him, and that is all I know. Hope you are happy with my interpretation! :)

In the 80's it was colorful that mattered, and you can basically use any clear colors as long as you match it with pink lips and the 80's screams!

I have chosen to make a nice version of the 80's, a little more modern but still incredibly colorful, because if you are going to a party with that theme, most people still want to feel good. I have chosen to skip details such as too dark foundation and far too much blush.

Hope you like my 80's look!

80s make-up (Step by step)

Pastel nails and a crooked tassel were the finishing touch :)

5. Pink eye shadow above the purple.

By Terry Eye Powder Kajal

I really like the makeup brand By Terry, their products are relatively expensive but everything I have tested is very good and has a high quality!

That's why I was extra curious when I would now test their black powder shawl "By Terry Eye Powder Kajal”Which just as it sounds is a eyeliner that is made of fine powder instead of being a solid cake like regular eyeliner pencils. However, I was not as pleasantly surprised by this as their other products.

This is how it is described:

“Do not underestimate the power of this elegant little bottle. Terry de Gunzburg has taken advantage of an old beauty secret from the East and has through the latest technological breakthroughs managed to update and adapt it to today's needs for agility, simplicity and efficiency.

Eye Powder-Kajal makes it easy to fix the graphic shape or the smoky eyes.
The weightless mineral powder and the flexible applicator ensure that it is quick and easy to create the desired look without smudges or precipitation.

In Eye Powder-Kajal hides a simple but sharp, smudge-free eyeliner that also works twice as eye shadow as it is beautifully blurred and frames the eye with the purest, most powerful, black micronized pigment.

The tapered, soft tip in foam material feels like a feather and the grip-friendly, flexible applicator fixes a flawless look in no time. ”

But unfortunately, I would like to like this product because the idea is so heavenly smart, but I can unfortunately not recommend it. I do not understand why this one, which costs a full 295 kronor, would be better than a regular black eye shadow.

It gives a pigment-rich, black result that is easy to fade. This is very good both for people who like a more smoky look around the eyes, but also for people with slightly sagging / wrinkled eyes who have difficulty getting a straight line with other eyeliners.

But it falls quite a lot on the cheeks when you apply it, even if you are careful, and for a nice fade I use at least one of my other makeup brushes. In other words, a small make-up brush + an eye shadow gives the same result and then you have more control over how much is on the brush as well, so that not half ends up on the cheeks!

Any of you who have tested it? :)

Lipstick on the teeth (How to avoid it!)

Many of you will surely have colorful lips on New Year's Eve, and then the usual problem will be lipstick on your teeth too!

Using a piece of toilet paper to get rid of excess lipstick is the most common trick, but for me it actually does not always work but I can get lipstick on my teeth anyway. Maybe it depends on what your mouth / teeth look like maybe?

You can also have a little Vaseline or similar on the teeth, but there is nothing that attracts me, I prefer not to have products in my mouth just to avoid lipstick on the teeth;)

So now I thought I would share a super simple tip that I think is a little more effective, and that is to use your finger! Put the finger in the mouth and pull it out, then the lipstick that would have ended up on the teeth will stick to the finger instead!

I took photos when I had my finger in my mouth too, but no matter how hard I tried, I never managed to make a face that did not look filthy haha;)

Hugs are!
