Discount code on Perfectbrows.se!

Do you remember the post I wrote a while ago about eyebrow extensions?

It is hairs that you glue on the eyebrows that should last 1-2 weeks. Perfect if you have a scar or notch in the brow that you want to fill in in a natural way! And I as a makeup artist will probably use these for make-up jobs when you have to take photos / film very closely.

I have now received a discount code Perfectbrows.se which I can share with you! Enter ”Helenaronnblad“When you buy eyebrow extensions + glue, you get everything for SEK 398 instead of the regular price of SEK 748. As much as SEK 350 discount! :)

A fun Christmas present to give away maybe?

Hair tips for New Year's Eve

I do not know if it was just me who overconsumed glitter spray at parties during my teens (?) But I was super happy when I got home Joico's Limited Edition hair spray "Gold Dust Shimmer Finishing Spray" with gold glitter that is perfect for New Year's Eve! :)

Spray a thin layer over the hair for a golden shimmery hairstyle! The spray is barely felt in the hair and the glitter is so fine-grained that it becomes glittery without looking "masquerade".

Unfortunately I can not find it on any website at the moment, but Joico is a common brand in hairdressing salons so look for it at a salon nearby and it is probably there :)

It is not visible at all in the hair in the picture, not on my hair color anyway, but I sprayed a little on the arm to show you how nice little glitter it is!

I can imagine that it is extremely nice on dark hair colors :)

Christmas make-up with glitter & red lips

1

A golden eye make-up with red lips is so heavenly nice and Christmasy I think!

I have shown some such looks in December already, but here is another one :)

And as I always say when it comes to glittery make-up, if you think it's nice here in the blog, you should see it in real life! It glitters so nicely when you blink!

The best hand cream from Aesop!

0

Resurrection Aromatic Hand Balm from the luxury brand Aesop is the best hand cream I have tested, truly wonderful!

The most important thing in a hand cream is in my opinion that it should go quickly into the skin, you should be able to lubricate yourself at any time during the day without having to work with sticky hands. Aesop Hand Balm really has that property, the first time I tested it I had washed makeup brushes with detergent and water for almost an hour and got very dry and chapped hands after that. Then I put a pretty thick layer (so that I was white from the cream on my hands) and it sank completely into the skin in just a few minutes!

The hands become extremely soft and smooth, and the cream smells super good too! I love it! :)

You can also use it on feet and other dry small places.

The only negative is the packaging, as usual with luxury creams, they come in a jar. Neither practical nor hygienic in my opinion, but it actually sells better due to the feeling of luxury so it is not surprising that companies actually use cans. But I like to have a hand cream with me in my handbag, but then you can not bear to use a spatula on the side of which is lying and smearing, and you should not dip fingers in the jar either.

But the wonderful contents and my baby-soft hands outweigh the negative jar, so it still gets 5 stars from me and I actually intend to fix an empty pump bottle that I can fill and carry with me in my handbag :)

The hand cream costs SEK 279 and is available for purchase HERE!

Tips for oily hair

There are many tips and tricks for oily scalp, both how to counteract it and how to hide it.

But today I thought I would share a specific trick that not many people think of, but which for me works well when I take the time to do it. And it is to create volume in the hair when it is freshly washed without using super much volume-giving products, which you can do by blow-drying with a round brush!

IMG_2905_111_1

I am currently using a round brush from Ecotools which I think is good!

The reason this helps against oily hair is simply because the more hair you have lying along your head that rubs against your oily scalp, the faster your scalp will become oily. But if you lift your hair with a hair dryer and round brush (and preferably also a volume master pliers), you do not need much products at all to get an airy and nice volume that stays fresh for a long time!

This is something that I myself really need to become better at, I shower my hair very rarely at the same time as I very easily get oily scalp. But if you just put in a little extra time right after the shower, the hair will be much more easily styled and beautiful the other days before the next hair shower :)

It might be my New Year's promise haha!

Anyway, hope any of you thought the post was helpful :) Kiss you!
