Cheap Mascara (or?) - Different volumes

When you are looking for a good and affordable mascara, many stare blindly at the price, you stand and compare different mascaras with each other and maybe in the end choose a cheaper one over the one you really want.

But do you know what? A mascara for SEK 159 can be cheaper than a mascara for SEK 149!

The whole thing is very simple, many people do not think about how much difference there is in how much mascara contains. It can differ by many milliliters on two mascaras whose packaging looks basically the same.

I was going to give you an example:

Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara costs SEK 159, which is a regular mascara price, most "regular brands" are between SEK 149 and SEK 179. I was looking for a mascara I used a lot before to compare, it is Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara which costs 160 kroner HERE.

The price is the same, it only differs one crown, but the Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara contains 12 ml, while the Max Factor Masterpiece only contains 4.5 ml!

In other words, you can buy two Max Factor Masterpiece Mascaras and still not have as much mascara as there is in one from Paese!

I'm not saying that one is better than the other, if you do not use mascara every day, then maybe you would rather buy a smaller amount of a more expensive one. But it can be worth keeping in mind when comparing prices! :)

Now I will go to Uppsala and put on 11 models for the anniversary night at Creative Zone. It's going to be so much fun!

Have a super nice Friday nice you!

Christmas Gift Tips - eos Coconut Milk Balm

If you can't afford to spend several hundred kroner on each Christmas present, a tip is to invest in something everyday that is either a little extra nice, or organic. And then I think that eos lip balm is a good idea, because they are not only great but also organic and so heavenly sweet to have in your handbag!

The lip balm is smooth and wonderful on the lips that feel soft and moisturized! In addition, it is easy to find in the handbag, which I, Helena Soptippsväskan Rönnblad, think is wonderful :)

The product consists of 100% natural ingredients (such as vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil) of which 95% are organically certified!

All these lip balms are transparent and therefore suit everyone, the difference is that there are many different scents to choose from! I am currently using the scent Coconut Milk which smells wonderfully good of coconut.

At first I did not think I would like to have coconut on my lips (I got it in a goodie bag) but it smells so mild that it is actually delicious! :) A little coconut-vanilla-like.

eos Coconut Milk Balm is available at, among others HERE for 89 kronor, and they have free shipping too!

Hug!!

Glittery New Year's make-up with eyeliner

A classic New Year's make - up is in my eyes a glittery, black soot - dark with a lot of bling bling :)

But many people find it difficult to both get a nice sweep + feel good in it, and glitter is also not super easy to get nice all the time.

Today's make - up is therefore a simple variant of a black and glittery New Year's make - up, which is not particularly difficult to do! What I have used is a black eye shadow that already contains glitter and is also very easy to fade out!

Then I just dabbed on a little extra glitter that is so fine-grained and nice that it attaches directly by just dabbing it with a makeup brush.

And in order not to feel like a panda (as many who are not used to wearing dark make-up do), I have also put everything dark on the top of the eye and kept the lower lash line completely light :) Hope you like it!

Lip pencil on the entire lips, Yves Rocher Automatic Lipliner (21. Mauve boisé)

Black, glittery eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Yves Rocher sparkling eye shadow (83.Noir scintillant)
Bright glitter much in the corner of the eye and a little on the rest of the make-up, Yves Rocher Loose Pearls (05.Nacres Cristal)
Black eyeliner with wing, IsaDora Fine Liner Eye Stylo.
White eyeliner along the waterline, Paese Eye Pencil White.
Black mascara on all lashes, Volume Blast Mascara.

Hugs are!

Perfect Brows Eyebrow Extensions

I have received a really exciting product that I was going to show you now, namely eyebrow extensions from Perfectbrows.se!

I have not tested them to 100% yet to be able to give a final review, but I can not help but show you already now :)

What I have tested so far is simply to attach to the eyebrows, I can therefore not comment on the durability or the like yet, but I thought I would show you what it looks like!

Eyebrow extensions are just as it sounds, hairs that are glued to the eyebrow to get denser eyebrows. These should last for about 1-2 weeks depending on how careful you are with them. Much like eyelash extensions, although you apply these yourself at home as it is a little easier to do on yourself!

Though I have a little hard to believe that it can last up to 2 weeks, the skin is changed all the time, at least on me who is young. But it will be exciting to see!

IMG_5229_111

I have the shade dark brown, a nice color that is neither too warm nor too cold. The straws are synthetic and they are thin and true to nature. In one package there are several different lengths!

The glue is a "skin glue" that you glue on the skin. You apply by picking a straw with tweezers, dipping it in the glue and then applying directly where you want it.

IMG_5251_111

The application itself was actually not as difficult as I thought, the straws attach immediately and settle nicely. The thing that is simple with just the eyebrows is that the straws more or less lie down, they should not have a nice bend such as e.g. eyelashes. They blend well into my own straws and do not look so crazy at all!

But it is of course very fussy, and it takes some time. As a makeup artist, I see in front of me that I like to use them on a make-up job where you have to take photos / film very closely. But as a private person, I do not know if so many have patience with this? Maybe if you only have a small notch in the eyebrow that you want to fill in, and not generally very leaky eyebrows :) Or what do you think?

IMG_5271_111

I did not take a before picture because I was only going to test a few straws, then I could not stop haha. So here's my eyebrow with a lot of extensions! It's probably hard for you to see which ones are mine and which ones are fake, but I got very light eyebrows on the trip abroad so most of the dark ones you see are extensions.

You should not really wet your face in one day, preferably two, for a lasting result. And you should definitely not rub your eyebrows or use oil-based products. But I put on make-up immediately after application, and washed it off with both water and oil-based makeup remover, so my straws are already gone.

But I have actually glued on a few hairs on my arm, and can say that I can rub very, very much before they come loose!

In other words - This is an exciting product that I will continue to test! What do you think spontaneously? Is it a smart product that will break through, or is it more of an idea that sounds good but does not work for 100% in practice? :) And if you love the result, would you have the patience?

New Year's make-up

December has kicked off and I was going to publish this year's first New Year's make-up!

It was a purple and silvery soot, and I have also dabbled in a little silver glitter that is not so much visible in the picture, but it blends really nicely in reality when you blink and touch your head :)

I first chose a nuderosa lipstick but changed after a few photos to red lips instead, it turned out so nice!

Red lip pencil on the whole lips, Golden Rose Lipliner (shade 54)

Silver eyeshadow in the corner of the eye and in the middle of the eyelid, Paese Diamond Eyeshadow (19)
Purple eye shadow along the lower lash line, innermost and outermost of the eyelid and along the globe line, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (674)
Black eye shadow sooty inside and out of the eyelid and down the lower lash line, Paese Kashmir Matte Black Eyeshadow.
Silver glitter on top of the silvery eyeshadow, Yves Rocher Loose Pearls.
Black eyeliner along the upper and lower lash line, IsaDora Smokey Eyeliner.
Black mascara on all lashes, Oriflame Volume Blast Mascara.

What do you think? :)
