Before our trip abroad, I had actually thought about coloring and permanent eyelashes Creative Makeup in Uppsala, I have done that before and the result was so heavenly good!
But then I did not really have time for it in the end (the treatment itself does not take that long but I live an hour from Uppsala so it requires some planning) so I dyed my eyelashes at home with Depend (adlink) instead.
I think the color result is as good as at the salon actually, the big difference is that you have to bend the lashes every day instead (if you, like me, are pretty straight in any case) but if you permanent the lashes, you have a nice bend all the time!
So now I was going to show you exactly which of Depend's treatments I usually use, how I usually do. :) It is perfect to color the lashes even now in the winter when so many have less energy and desire to fix themselves in the morning - but "need" it maybe the most!
(Note: It is important to do an allergy test before coloring at home, and be very careful not to get on your skin or eyes!)
I use Depends fast coloring (adlink) (the color is black, but there are also brown and tan black) which lasts for 3 minutes (unlike the regular treatment which has an effect time of 10 minutes if I remember correctly). I think the result will be as good as with the one that takes a long time, but this one goes faster and is less cumbersome to do on its own so for me the choice is easy!

The Depends lash coloring kit includes:
A gel to wear on the skin around the eyes
An activator fluid
A color cream
An eyelash brush
Tops
It also includes protection in paper that you should have under the eyes if you smudge, but in my opinion they are quite useless and it is easier to dye without them and be careful instead.
Color eyelashes with Depend step by step:
1. Wash your face so that you get rid of all the oil and dirt from the eyelashes, and let them dry thoroughly before you start coloring.
2. Apply the gel on the skin around the eyes, feel free to use a brush so that you can apply as close to the lashes as possible without it getting on the lashes. If there is gel on the lashes, the color will not work there.
Moisten a top with the activator liquid and apply on all lashes carefully.
Let work for 2 minutes.
5. Spread the color gel evenly over the eyelash brush and then apply on the eyelashes. The cream and the liquid now react together and you will see that it gets dark immediately!
Let it work for 30 seconds.
7. Rinse your eyes thoroughly with water, then you are done!
