Gentle hairline

The hair care brand HH Simonsen's latest news is Hairbobbles - a spiral-shaped hair band in plastic that is gentle on the hair!

Hairbobbels reduce the pressure on the hair and the tension against the scalp, which is not only gentle but also means that you avoid marks on the hair when you have had it set up and then release it.

Available in five different colors, I have a pink but it is also available in black, brown, purple, pink and transparent!

I do not know if I think it is so nice, but very useful when, for example, you train or stroll around at home before you leave. Then you can just let your hair out and it's just as nice as before you set it up :)

It is easy to set up the hair with hairbubbles and you feel that it sits firmly and well! But you have to be a little careful when you take it out so that it does not get tangled.

A 3-pack costs SEK 39 and is available HERE and they also have free shipping. Good Christmas gift tips for us with a small wallet? :)

Have a nice evening everyone!

Cold makeup tutorial (Silver makeup)

I feel that I have already become winter and snow-inspired and want to play with cool colors and glitter no matter how much!

And I thought I would start with a cold make-up that works both for everyday and for parties, depending on how much you usually put on make-up. It is a very simple make-up and I also offer a step-by-step description so that you can clearly see how I have cast the shadows:)

Hope you like it!

The lipstick I have used is Paese Argan oil lipstick in shade no. 17, I have only applied a little to get as natural but still bright and nice results as possible.

I have used the eyeshadow palette Lumene Long-Wear Duet Eyeshadow in shade 10 Glistening Water which consists of two cool shades of blue, one dark and one light. They are super nice together in a wintery make-up!

One tip is to start applying the dark shade and mark how much you want to darken down, and then apply the light one. Because if you start with the light one, it is easy to apply to a larger area than you actually thought, and have to apply the dark one a little on top of the light eye shadow. This can result in the dark shade not being as intense in color and the transition not looking as good looking.

1. Dark blue eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and along the globe line.
2. Light blue eye shadow innermost on the eyelid and in the corner of the eye.
3. Apply it dark blue shade also along the lower lash line.
4. Fade the edges.
5. Finish with dark blue eyeliner and mascara, Oriflame Eyeliner Stylo (Blue) & Magnetic Lash Mascara.

What do you think? :)

Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Tint - Red lips

I have finally tested Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Tint which in short is a lipstick in ink pen form! It costs SEK 115 and is available at e.g. HERE and HERE, and right now actually on sale on it so it only costs 59 kroner if you buy it there.

I have been curious about this for a long time as I have heard both bad, mediocre and great reviews, and I think such products are the most fun to try to see what I think and also to try to figure out why many think so differently.

When I say that the pen is reminiscent of a felt-tip pen, I mean it literally, it feels like painting the lips with a felt-tip pen! I like the application, it is easy to paint sharp lines and if you add more layers you get a more colorful result so you can decide for yourself and vary how intense color you want. I do not think it was difficult to get even either, and the color will be great!

I have the shade 07 Coral Crush in the picture.

The consistency is a liquid that is water-based and goes into the skin instead of laying its on the surface, so it hardly feels like you are wearing any lip product. The lips do not feel dry or creamy. If you want, you can have a lip gloss or lip balm over. I am not so fond of the scent / taste, but since it is not creamy, you do not feel it so much. It tastes a little, hm, kind of salty felt-tip pen?

The very idea of this is that it should have an enormous durability, and it is mainly on that point that I have heard such different opinions about the result. Some people think that it lasts all day without improvement and that it is even difficult to get rid of in the evening, while many do not think at all that it lasts as long as it promises. I had decided that it would last all day, so I was a little disappointed. Had it been an ordinary lipstick, I would probably have said that it has good durability, but I did not have to fight to get rid of it after a few hours because then it would have already disappeared completely by itself.

The reason why so many people think the product is different is because everyone's lips are so different, some lips absorb more moisture than others and many lips are unevenly dry, which also leads to an uneven result with a product like this.

In other words - I like the end result and will certainly use it more times, but I think the result is individual and I hope to find a similar product from another brand that actually lasts all day!

Any of you who tested? What do you think of the product? :)

From everyday to party in minutes! (Make-up)

Yesterday's everyday make-up (you can see it again here!) Is a very good everyday look if you are going to parties later in the evening and do not have much time to change.

Partly because a sooty eyeliner with a wing highlights the eyes super nicely, but also thanks to the fact that it is not sharp, it does not matter if you happen to access and destroy it a little during the day, it is not as clear and it is much easier to improve !

Today's make - up is thus a quick transformation of yesterday's look where I have added the following:
Glitter in the corner of the eye
False eyelashes
Darker lipstick

+ a less important detail that you can also skip - a beauty spot under the eye. Just because it turned out so nice and makes the look a little more interesting in some way!

everyday makeup-vs-party makeup

I also sprayed in a little dry shampoo on the scalp that gives volume (perfect if you also get a little greasy in the hair during the day, eg if you work in the kitchen). Then the outfit and accessories will do the rest of the job!

Better blog photos

0

I start this Monday morning with a wonderful energy and inspiration in my body!

I am in fact planning a major purchase with camera stuff to get nice makeup pictures for the blog! Then I will be able to take photos even now when it is so dark outside. It is about 10 in the morning and it is still too dark to take pictures, and around 2 pm it is already too late.

But now I have received help from Photographer Niklas Lundengård who has written a shopping list with everything I need to be able to take nice pictures at home no matter how dark it is outside, all adapted to my needs. Nice huh? :)

Some things are out of stock but will come in again this week, so I'll just wait for it then I'll go shopping! It will be so much fun and I hope that the pictures will be even better here in the blog then!

The reason I am writing this now, is so that you can make wishes purely photographically before I shop, what do you like about my pictures now and what do you not like? For example, I personally prefer the white background that I have now (I take my pictures against a white wall) and thought of buying a white background for my little "studio", but what do you think?

Here is my "photo studio" right now, a white wall that is not much wider than me (it is not really a wall but just the side of a wardrobe) and the remote shutter release! The camera stands on a high chest of drawers in front of the window in front of me.

Although the remote shutter release I have in the picture is broken now, so I have quite recently bought a new one actually. I was going to take pictures of my nails and wanted a picture where both hands were visible at the same time - which is not super easy when you are alone. So I put the remote shutter release in my mouth and bit the button when the camera was going to take pictures haha, which of course resulted in me eventually dropping it on the floor so that it broke… But I got nice pictures :)

Hope you also have a good start to the week!
