IsaDora Shadow Blender

0

IsaDora launches new eyeshadow brush ”Shadow Blender”Which is there to fade out eye shadows, e.g. if you are going to do a smokey eye make-up.

This is how it is described on the website:
Long tapered brush used to fade out eye shadow. Shadows or blends in or more eye shadows, and blurs sharp lines and edges. Soft bristles of goat hair. ”

Costs about 99 kronor.

When I look at product pictures, I think it looks much better, the top is nicely rounded and it looks very fluffy. But the brush is actually a bit more spread out, it is absolutely very soft but not as "cozy fluffy" as I had set myself.

In fact, it is a little for soft in my opinion, I like a little more stable brushes when I fade out the eyeshadow that really manages to move around the pigments which I do not think this does. This brush is something I would rather use to refine already faded edges, although I will be completely honest, I will probably not use it again unfortunately.

Mild makeup remover

Yves Rochers Express Eye Makeup Remover is one of my favorites when it comes to makeup removal for the eyes, and therefore it was extra interesting to try Yves Rocher's second remover ”Gentle Eye Makeup Remover for Sensitive Eyes”Which is for sensitive eyes.

This is how it is described on Yves Rocher's website:
“A really gentle cleanser that removes all traces of makeup. With organically grown cornflower that soothes and refreshes the skin. Perfect for you with sensitive eyes or contact lenses. ”

In short, I can say that this is absolutely not bad, I have almost used up my now so it is a proof that it is good to use. But I do not know if I can recommend it either, because I would much, much rather buy their two-phase remover in front of this one!

The big difference between these removers is that Express Eye Makeup Remover (the one I like) is two-phase, contains oil and also removes waterproof makeup. I have tipped you about it before as I really like it! The one I have tested now does not contain oil and is not for waterproof makeup, but should be more gentle on the eyes. It is also cheaper.

I have quite sensitive eyes and at that point I thought this was worse actually which feels a bit strange as it should be the opposite. If you get a little remover in the eyes, it hurts quite a lot, which I do not experience at all with the two-phase! But you can have sensitive eyes in different ways, it is e.g. the oily formula you can not stand, this is better. So whether this is perceived as mild or not is quite individual I think!

Then this is not as effective as the other either, which is especially noticeable on some mascaras that can be tricky to get rid of. But on most mascaras and eye make-up, it works well, but it is not as quick to get rid of as with the two-phase, and in addition, as I said, it does not remove waterproof products.

As I wrote at the beginning of the post, I personally choose other removers over this one. But it can be difficult to find removers without oil that are still effective, and among these, this still ends up quite high on the list, especially considering the cheap price - it currently costs only SEK 49 on Yvesrocher.se.

So I say neither bu nor bä, but I personally would not get a new one :)

Any of you who tested? What did you think?

Beige eyeliner

I love to apply white eyeliner along the waterline, it opens up the gaze and makes the eyes look bigger and more alert.

But if you want a more natural result, a beige shade is a good alternative as well, it gives a more everyday illuminating effect, and now Paese's eyeliner is also available in beige at creativemakeup.se!

The pigment in the pen comes from real pearls. The formula is caring and water resistant, which are two important details for a pen that is often used along the waterline.

Active ingredients:
Beeswax lubricates and protects the skin, and makes the pencil's texture more flexible
Carnauba wax is very water-repellent and does not turn rancid
Aloe Vera protects against inflammation and moisturizes the skin
Vitamin E protects against UV radiation and slows down skin aging

The white shade is unfortunately sold out right now, but the beige one costs SEK 49 and is available here!

Halloween Doll Makeup

0

Earlier today, I promised you a doll make-up that is a little more neutral and "nice" compared to the one I published then. This make-up is easier to do, it is not as colorful and even though you are dressed up, you feel a little more like yourself, which for many is important even at masquerade parties.

You do not get quite as many glances on the bus when you leave, and if you want to flirt with an interesting person, you do not have to be ashamed of your appearance if you have it easy; )

Hope you like this look and get inspired!

You will find the whole look with step by step descriptions here <-

1. Light eye shadow on the eyelid, in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
2. Brown eye shadow along the globe line, Paese Kashmir Trio Eyeshadow (shade 864)
3. The same brown eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line, and the same light eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line.
4. Black eye shadow smoked on the brown to create more depth in the make-up, Paese Kashmir Matte Black Eyeshadow.
White eyeliner along the waterline, Paese Eye Pencil White.
5. Black eyeliner along the upper lash line and a bit down on the lower lash line, Paese Penliner.
6. False eyelashes, Depend false eyelashes No. 13
Black mascara on all lashes, Golden Rose Miracle Lash Mascara.

Hope you got off to a good start this week:) Hugs!

IsaDora All Day Long Lash Mascara

0

I have tested IsaDora All Day Long Lash Mascara and thought to share with me my review :)

Characteristics:
Give the lashes along and separation
• Good durability throughout the day
• Volume - buildable formula for extra volume
• Easy to remove with water
Creamy, soft formulation

The formula encloses the lashes with a moisture-resistant cover that protects them and gives the long-lasting effect.

In short: Not the very best mascara I have tested, but definitely the best IsaDora mascara I have tested!

The mascara keeps everything it promises! It gives an excellent separation and length, the formula is soft and easy to work with and the rubber brush combs the lashes so that they are separated and fine. If you work too much with the brush, the lashes can get a little rough, but I did it mostly to test, the lashes will be fine after just a few strokes so it's no problem.

The durability is also great, for me it does not smudge or crumble during the day, and in the evening it can be quickly washed off and comes off as in pieces instead of dissolving and smearing around as most mascaras do. I use a remover to get rid of it because I have so much other makeup that needs to be removed as well, but I have also tried to remove it with just hot water and it also worked great!

It costs about 149 kronor and is in other words a good and affordable mascara for you who like long and separated lashes :)
