Last week there was no Sunday post because I was one year old (26 years now woop woop) and had guests all weekend. In addition, I have had a throat infection and fever again, as usual;) So all my time and energy had to go to other things then.

But now I'm fit for fight again! And full of inspiration as well! And since my Saturday afternoon + the whole Sunday is booked, I got up at 6 yesterday and wrote this post and worked before it was time to jump in the shower :) No excuses this weekend!

Looking for a partner!
As I mentioned earlier, I was in the starting blocks to start my own make-up brand before, but for various reasons I chose to put just that idea on ice BUT also have another idea that I really, really believe in!

Right now I am in phase one: in the beginning, everything is a bit moment 22 because everything is connected, so then you have to start in several areas at the same time. For example: I can not count on profits and budget until I know costs, but to find out the costs I have to know exactly what I should have, but it depends on how much money I have to invest, but I can do not contact investors until I can present proper figures;)

There are two things I focus on the most in the beginning and the first is product development, what should be in the start range and what can be upcoming news. I focus on what I'm good at simply!

But most of all I focus on the "structure" of the company, the decisions I make now will affect me in 10 years as well. It will require a large investment to get started, not like my webshop which I started with SEK 23,000 from my own pocket;) and there are pros and cons to everything! The more money that comes from investors, the less of the company I own myself, it's like selling your business. But at the same time, the goal is for the company to be really successful, which it has a greater opportunity to become the more you can invest in the beginning, and if the company becomes large, I will still earn well even though I share the profit :) You must not be stupid but also not so bad patience that you do anything to get started quickly.

What I have come to the conclusion is that I should find a company partner! Me and another co-owner! I can create the products, I know what the customers want, I can be the face and create all such material. The creative and nerdy in my field! And of course I am used to running a business as well, but partly I do not want to do this alone and partly I need the skills of someone who has experience or knowledge of major business!

I have thought and wondered if I know someone who can fit, someone I have met at events, heard in a podcast etc. but I have to start networking because I can not think of anyone on a straight arm. I'm starting to ask around!

Do you know anyone? It does not necessarily have to be a person from the beauty industry (I know the industry + already have producer contacts) but mainly someone who has experience / knowledge of running larger companies with investors, financial decisions, sales channels etc. But also innovative, driven and social / easy to talk and sell an idea.

By the way, my and Annika's fortune teller said that this was a SUPERIDE! Without her knowing what it was about of course, otherwise everyone would have said that it is a super idea;) She shouted "aaaabsoluuuuuuut!" on the phone haha. She said it will be "thing, on thing, on thing that just rolls on like this and then PANG - agreement!”

Danne is a VIP customer at Annika and came to our house to get their eyebrows fixed and I told them about my idea and the contacts I have. Danne has a lot of experience of starting large companies and I took the opportunity to ask all the questions I have been thinking about. I learned a lot! Good mentor :)

I believe in the law of attraction and right now visualize a lot that I will find the perfect companion and see the first meeting in front of me, just sitting down with a new person and thinking and planning feels like the worst energy boost!

Finance: The month of July has meant a lot of financial work since our financial year (corporate year) ended on 30 June.

I have reviewed reports, calculated, compiled and planned the new corporate year. During the past year (June-July) a lot has happened, Annika and Lisa have become on maternity leave, we have changed premises, had higher costs in the form of double rents for a while, renovation of the new premises and increased working hours. So there are many aspects to include in the calculations, because you can not only look at the costs and assume that it looks the same next time, but you have to check why they had the costs and what it will look like in the future.

This mischief played happily next to me with cords and receipts haha. Until she sucked on a receipt so in the end it was just wet sludge in her mouth that I was afraid she would put in her throat and screamed "oh no business economics is taking a toll on Mileya too!”.

Autumn planning: It's not just financial planning for autumn and winter that needs to be done, I now use the summer months to prepare as much as I can! For next week, the staff will start going on holiday, those who work at the salon are fully booked anyway and the webshop always has a low season in the summer. Marketing and change are a bit like throwing money in the lake for us right now.

I think about marketing strategies and gather "material" and plan a meeting about what I'm going to this afternoon. I'm planning a kickoff day with the staff we have in September. In addition, I think about my own working days and routines around it.

All this I did with this freshly hatched cutie in my arms:

One of our hens incubated four eggs but the mother chopped on the first chicken so it was really sore on the head !! So horrible! We tried to save it but it did not survive :( Some hen mothers can apparently be like that, do not understand why .. So we took the other two eggs under a heat lamp in the kitchen so that they could hatch safely.

However, the first chicken came several days before, so it was alone in the beginning and did not like it at all so I stepped in as a hen mother ♥ It loves me now! But I have a cat so I can not have it at night so we went and bought two chicken friends for it, so now we have four chickens under a heat lamp in the kitchen haha :) Love it!

It sat in my arms when I worked and always jumped under my arm and fell asleep ♥

It always looks so slack when you work from home! Almost do not want to post pictures of it for that reason haha. But I promise that even though I sit unadorned in a soft suit with a newly hatched chicken in my arms, I work hard haha! In fact, I get more done like this, going completely into my job bubble when I have a cozy environment.

Build websites: Miska builds websites on the side of the salon and this week we were at the home of a man who works with rust protection and had a meeting about what the website should look like etc. He also wanted to learn the basics of wordpress so he can go in and edit the page in retrospect so it was a pretty long meeting.

No but sluuuta how can you be so cute? He had a lot of kittens at home and I was in heaven! We were there for 3 hours but it felt like half an hour just because I enjoyed the cats so much haha :)

Another news item will soon be published in the webshop - Paese Artist Blush is a blush in three shades that are extra pigment-rich. How nice!

I took swatch pictures of our new eye shadows two weeks ago and now I also took photos of all blushes, there are new shades of the old regular Paese blushes as well.

I will blog more about these next week but this is what it looked like backstage in the photo studio:

Before, I always had a white table to take product pictures on, but now that I live in a small cottage and work up in the small attic, there is no room for a table. Then I put my hand in a paper bag instead and use it as a base! However, it only works with light products haha.

Fix it nicely at the salon!
When we moved to a smaller room, there was a lot of furniture and stuff that we did not want to sell but which also did not fit. But then we arranged an extra room on the same street where we can have babysitting, staff rooms and a treatment room when Annika has customers (it may sound complicated but it has worked very smoothly!).

Then we could put things there that Annika does not fit in at home and now it's so nice there:

26 years and wiser than ever
This Saturday I turned 26 years old and I am still such a childish and self-centered person who likes to turn one;) I had invited some family and friends to dinner, lots of strawberries and hang out in the sun! Even though I had a fever and ate alvedon, but I kept it a secret;) After a quick turn down to the lake to swim, I came back to the worst surprise - live band on the terrace! Whaaaat!

Annika's mother Susanne plays in a band and they kept the box for several hours, huur wonderful at any time! ♥ So nice! The kids had the time of their lives haha! I am so grateful for all the nice people around me, it means so much! So much laughter! :)

I was very naive when I was younger and thought that 3 years after graduating I would be rich and have a big villa and servants type. A lot can happen in a year but so fast it rarely goes no matter how hard you work;) Most of me think I'm super young now and am sometimes shocked when I say my age out loud because it sounds so small, because I hang out mostly with people who are 10 years older and follow many people / entrepreneurs who are 40-50 years old and think we are the same age haha.

But some mindsets hang from the naive Helena and 27 is an age I often thought about before. It must be a normal age when things start to "happen" in people's lives (?) Because I have often seen / heard of people for whom it has just started to go well and thought "well she / he is 27 years old and has just started, think when I is 27 years old, how far I have come then! ”.

… So now I start thinking ”shit I only have one year on me to get rich!" Hahaha.

But do you know? I am only 26 years old so even if everything would go to the forest, I still have time to start over, several times! I have a strong feeling that everything before 25 is just "practice" and that's where the fun begins;)

Now I, Miska and Annika are going to a 75th anniversary party at a regular customer who invited us from the salon, so nice!
