Hello!

Today I am on site in Uppsala all day, it is filming that is on the schedule and the make-up will be so much fun to do, very special!

Therefore, today's make-up is a very natural and fast look as I have a little short of time, but oh so nice ;)

I have brightened up properly around the eyes, chosen a nude-colored lipstick and enlivened the look with a blue mascara! Quick, easy and nice!

The lipstick is Paese Lipstick with argan oil in shade 17.

Light eye shadow, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
White eyeliner along the waterline, Paese Eye Pencil White.
Blue mascara, Yves Rocher Mascara Volume Vertige (03 Bleu)

Wish you a wonderful Saturday!

Eyeshadow brushes

The other day I wrote a post about the eyeshadow brushes from bra cosmetics "Eco Friendly" makeup brush set, you will find the post here. There I explained in detail how I use the brushes and for what, and now I thought I would do the same with bra cosmetics' other make-up brush set as well, "Pink dots”Which is a super cute pink polka dot makeup brush set!

The main difference between the different sets, purely practical, is that the Pink Dots brushes are more suitable for those who like soft but fairly compact brushes. While the Eco Friendly set has more brushes that are soft in the fluffy direction. What fits best is entirely a matter of taste!

Sweet huh? The set contains 11 brushes, of which 7 are suitable for eye make-up. Costs SEK 399 on creativemakeup.se!

Here you see a good overview of the size of the different eyeshadow brushes.

I use these brushes when I apply the eye shadow. All three are relatively flat.

The brush on the left is perfect when applying eye shadow on the eyelid. It is not as flat as the others in the picture but a little fuller and softer. It absorbs a lot of eye shadow without dusting when you apply it on the eyelid. With this you can also fade the edges a little before you start to erase with a fluffier brush.

The brush in the middle is a little smaller and also slanted, which makes it perfect when applying eye shadow on smaller areas, e.g. at the bottom of the eyelid where you want to access properly down to the corner of the eye.

The brush on the right is completely straight and is superb both for sharp lines (eg for a sharp cat eye make-up) and for the lower lash line!

These two are rounded and most fluffy of all eyeshadow brushes.

The brush on the left is great when you want to fade out the eye shadows nicely so that you get soft and even fades.

The brush on the right is much smaller and suitable for applying / fading the eye shadow in the corner of the eye and along the lower lash line. Or if you generally want to fade out an eye shadow in a very small area.

These brushes are the smallest and also the most compact. They are great for small areas such as lashes, eyebrows, lips, etc. Very useful!

Hugs are!

Hi on are fine nine!

Now it is the case that I will actually leave Imakeyousmile.se, but the blog will remain here if you want to go in and browse through categories and the like :)

Instead, my new blog address is now called helenaronnblad.se, and I will be blogging on the blog portal Finest! So everything will be as before, but on a different side. But I have posted the latest blog posts (from June) on Finest so you have a bit to browse through there as well.

CLICK HERE to get to my new blog !!! :)

finest header

The reason is simply that Finest gives me a lot of help regarding things that I myself do not have time for, but would need to do to get the blog going. Contact with advertisers and such. Finest a very good portal and it will also be fun with a little more community! :)

So I keep my fingers crossed that both you and I will enjoy my new blog! Otherwise, this treat is still there, it feels a bit like leaving a baby, but I believe and hope that it will be so good at Finest that I do not have to long to return!

Come in and take a look my new creep and welcome me to the portal world! :)

Hugs are

Purple & Gold makeup with red lips

Purple and gold… Is not it one of the world's most beautiful color combinations? :) Here is such a make-up that is very easy to do, and which highlights the eyes super nicely! In addition, it is a perfect party look if you like relatively light make-up that is still properly visible.

The only thing I have done is to apply a purple eye shadow on the entire eyelid and tone out the edges. And then applied a light, shimmery eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid and in the corner of the eye. And then finished with a gold glittery eyeliner and mascara. Busenkelt!

The ombre lips are made with the two different lip pens from Golden Rose. Durable and nice :)
