Now IsaDora has launched a new formula of their carpet foundation IsaDora Hydralight Water-Based Matte Make-Up Foundation which is specially formulated for oily skin. It is liquid, water-based and should give a matte result.
An oil-based foundation can make an oily skin even more oily during the day and in the end it feels like almost all the foundation has run off. Therefore, a water-based foundation is often a better choice for us with oily skin!
I have now tested this new foundation formula and thought I would tell you what I think of it :)
The texture feels very light and thin on the skin, which I like, and it blends in well with the pores and is easy to apply. You can also apply a little extra in the places that need more coverage without it becoming cakey or uneven.
It also covers well even with a thin layer, and if you use concealer or do not have much to cover, you probably need very little of the product to get a good result. Red areas were also covered very well (the nose is such a problem area for me) but I had to dab a little extra concealer on the sides of the nose when I had powdered myself because then it shone through a little red.
The foundation should also matte the skin, but it was a bit shiny after application so powder over is needed for most, and I can probably not say that it stayed matte especially long during the day either (I tested without primer and similar complementary products) and had to powder me about every hour. But my skin is extremely oily too!
I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation, and if it had kept the skin matte better, it would have been topnotch! I especially liked the light formula that gave a natural result :)
In this picture I only have foundation, neither primer, concealer or powder.
Costs about SEK 149 and I have the shade 60 Blonde Beige!
Hugs are :)
Now I have tested Elizabeth Mott's mascara It's so BIG Volumizing Mascara and I give it two thumbs up!
I have a bad eyelash period right now but can still say that it actually keeps all the promises I talked about in this post, really great!
* The texture is thin but creamy
* The brush separates very well
* Does not clump
* Gives just the right length and volume (it will not be too much even though it will be more than natural)
* Easy to apply - you can quickly get nice lashes
* Does not crumble / smudge during the day
* Easy to wash off
Costs SEK 179 and is available for purchase HERE!
As I said, I have (and have had for a very long time) a bad eyelash period so I do not know how much these lashes say about how good the mascara is, but you can trust me, the mascara is great I love it! :)
Two thumbs up!
Today I did a make-up with IsaDora's new 4-palette Coffee and poetry, it has incredibly beautiful and autumnal colors!
I have used these three colors! The light impressed me, very glittery but still pigment-rich and easy to apply :)
Fint va? The lip gloss is the Golden Rose brand I wrote about yesterday!
Maroon eye shadow on the sides of the eyelid and the lower lash line.
Light eye shadow in the corner of the eye and in the middle of the eyelid.
Brown eye shadow along the globe line.
Black faded eyeliner along the upper lash line, Paese Linea Automatic Eyeliner.
Black mascara on all lashes, Elizabeth Mott It's so BIG Volumizing Mascara.
Hug hug!

“The make-up was great! Then you have two smooth rings on the left ring finger? Have I missed something??"
Glad you thought of that! I actually did not understand that these are typical wedding rings, "where is the ring with the diamond?" I asked mom hahaha :)
I looked for nice gold rings in my mother's old jewelry box and found these (and all the others I have on my fingers) and when my mother said that they were her wedding rings from when she was married to my father, it became even more fun that I wore them so they were allowed to remain.
Awesome good when you go out and shake off ragged guys, then you do not have to say that you have a boyfriend but can go big and talk about your husband and the beautiful wedding we had! And if they do not believe me, it says dad's name and engagement / marriage dates in the rings. So then Miska will be called Stig for a while, and the dates will stand for our birth dates instead. I was born 93 when they got engaged, but Stig-Miska gets a little younger than me because they did not get married until 96. So my husband suddenly went from 6 years older to 3 years younger, but it's small potatoes;)
