Makeup tips for dry skin

I chat about my oily skin all the time here in the blog, but now I thought I would share makeup tips for you who have dry skin :)

Many people say that a person with dry skin should use a liquid oil-based and moisturizing foundation, and that is of course great but not a must either. I think the most important thing is to be careful with the basics and supplement with several products that help on the stack.

I had invested in the following products:
A face primer for dry skin
2. A foundation I like
A lustrous powder
4. A moisturizing spray (face mist)

1. Face primer for dry skin
A face primer prepares the skin before the make-up, so that you get a smoother and easier-to-work surface. There are primers that have an all-in-one function, but the very best thing is to choose one that is there for your specific needs, in this case a primer for dry skin. This will partly make it easier to apply the basic make-up and get a nice result, but will also moisturize the skin and extend the durability of your make-up. The basic make-up on a dry skin is otherwise easy to "fall off" during the day, but a primer + moisture makes it sit better.

Use a foundation you like!
If you like liquid or powder form is a matter of taste and the most important thing I think is that you should like your foundation. If you like liquid, feel free to choose an oil-based foundation that moisturizes the skin. But mineral powder also works on dry skin, although many claim that it is not recommended. A dry skin can also be sensitive and then it is great with a product that contains few ingredients - then the risk is less that it contains something that irritates the skin. Luminous pillows
A dry skin can often look a bit dull and lifeless, then a lustrous powder is perfect! Apply either a super-thin layer all over the face or on only certain parts such as the nose bones, cheekbones, chin and forehead. Then you get a nice Victoria Secret glow :)

4. Moisture spray
A skin that is so dry that it flakes often looks powdery, and the flakes can sometimes be highlighted. Then a moisture spray is great to use immediately after laying the foundation. A moisturizing spray is like a skin lotion in a more water form that you can spray on your face during the day - even with make-up on. It moisturizes, both removes the powdery feeling and makes the flakes less visible / not at all. Extra good for you who do not have a foundation that moisturizes!

Today's make-up is a black sweep (you never get tired of that, do you?) That I have done to show you the black eye shadow Paese Kasmir Matte Black Eyeshadow which I sell at creativemakeup.se. It's so good!

If you are looking for a matte, carbon black and easy-to-work eyeshadow, you have the answer here :) The consistency is velvety and it is easy to work with and fade out, I love it!

For the black make-up, I have also used the eyeliner pen Paese Linea Automatic Eye Liner, it has a creamy texture that glides easily on the skin but dries quickly and lasts super well. It is carbon black and contains small, small glitter grains, super nice :)

The nude lips are Paese Lipstick With Argan Oil in shade 17 which I wrote about in the middle previous posts today!

Step by step description:
1. Apply eyeshadow primer around the entire eye, and the makeup will last all day even if you get oily eyelids.
2. Dutta on the black eye shadow on the entire eyelid.
3. Fade the edges with a soft and fluffy brush.
4. Paint the eyeliner along the waterline and down between the lashes, as well as along the upper lash line.
5. Soot a little black eye shadow on the eyeliner along the lower lash line, partly to fix the eyeliner but also to get a more sooty impression.
6. Finish with mascara on all lashes, Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara

Perfect nude lips

I love nude lips, and know that an incredible number of you do too (it can be seen in the webshop, I can say, the shades are sold out even though I barely have time to write about them!). But the fact is that I feel me look better in colorful lips, and if I go away, it will usually be what I choose, or at least light pink lips that also give a little color.

This I discussed, Linda Hallberg and Therese Jirving at an event this spring, whereupon Linda said "once you find the right nude shade, you are stuck!”, And this has finally happened! :)

There is no direct template for which nude shades you fit in and feel good in, nor the perfect shade that suits everyone as it depends on both skin tone and how dark or light you are. A tip is in any case not to choose a color that is too light compared to the skin tone, but rather to choose a shade that is darker.

The best thing is to test yourself - and my new darling is the new shade 17m from Paese Lipstick With Argan Oil!

The shade feels absolutely perfect for me, and I keep my fingers crossed that it will not be too dark this winter when I get back my light skin tone for this I want to use all year round :)

The pin is creamy and feels really nice on the lips, it contains caring argan oil and lasts a very long time during the day.

Primer for oily skin (My best tip)

I have been looking for a really good primer for oily skin for a long time and now I have finally found it! This primer keeps the skin matte for a long time!

There is a product that has been mentioned a few times in the blog recently, but which I have not presented to you in more detail because then I wanted to have time to include it in the webshop first.

I'm talking about a product I've become addicted to, can-not-live-without-it-feeling, and I'm so proud to be able to sell this wonderful gem :)

What primer do I use for my oily skin?

You know how oily skin I have, I nag about it all the time it feels like, but Paese's face primer ”Makeup Base, MatteIs a real savior in times of need!

I have to powder about once an hour otherwise, preferably more often but who can handle it? But with this primer, it takes several hours before I see the hint of a little shine on the face, and suddenly it is enough to powder once a day! Once a day! It is absolutely incomparably good for me, and you who do not suffer from oily skin can probably not understand what a relief this is :)

You just lubricate the face with this before applying the basic make-up (it also works on days when you are not going to put on make-up), and then you do the routines as usual.

The primer is a transparent silicone-like cream that evens out the skin and makes it feel velvety. In addition, it contains a large dose of vitamin E.

I have tried to take pictures of how cool I am after a whole day without primer, to compare with a picture after a whole day with primer, because the difference is huge! However, it is always so bad light, and above all various light in the evenings so I have not got a good comparison picture yet. But it's coming :)

I can at least warmly recommend this to you who suffer from the same problem as me, because on my skin it works gallantly anyway!
