Lunch break

1

Is a little behind in today's schedule because I sat on the phone half the morning, so it is when you are self-employed - then it can come up a lot of unexpected hassle that you have to deal with!

Now I'm going home to mum and have some lunch, and relax my face that has looked like this for several hours:

concerned"Concentrated-annoyed-and-understand-nothing-mine" hihi.

Today's make - up I will deal with later, but you can read this post on Modern Mom as long as I just published :)

Rituals - Himalayan Scrub

I am currently using body products from the Rituals series Ayurveda, and thought to give you a review on their body scrub Himalaya Scrub.

"According to classical Ayurvedic science, scrubbing is considered a very effective way to cleanse the body and stimulate the flow of energy in it. The process is accelerated if you then take a hot bath. Contains ancient crystal salt from the Himalayas with a cleansing and harmonizing effect for inner balance and vitality. ”

First of all, I like to scrub myself with this, it is a "salt scrub" and really scrubs the skin proper,  no mes-peeling if you say so :) But there are details with it that are added to be good, but which I do not really know if I like or not.

IMG_3325_111Costs SEK 185 for 450 grams, the jar is large!

"The ancient Ayurvedic ingredient Fresh Mint revitalizes the body and provides a refreshing effect"
The first thing I do not know if I like or not is that it has a cooling effect, such as mint or Vick's ointment, which at first really shocked me and I thought my skin got an allergic reaction haha (as usual I had not read properly on the package before use, must improve!).

But when I read "cooling effect" on the jar and calmed down, it was actually quite nice in the hot shower. Especially in the bath I took yesterday, when the whole body is in hot water, it became a wonderful contrast for the skin! However, I do not want to keep the cold feeling after the shower, but it sat for a while.

"This cleansing scrub leaves an intense protective oil layer on the skin"
The second is that it becomes like a thin layer of oil on the skin afterwards that will care for and protect the skin. I would like to feel 100% clean after the shower and then lubricate myself, at the same time as it was nice to avoid lubrication and also my skin today (the day after) is really smooth, soft and and comfortable :)

IMG_3332_111The texture is like a snowdrift with lots of salt in it, and it smells wonderfully good of rose and sweet almond!

The conclusion is that this is a really good scrub with a superb end result where you actually feel the difference on the skin the day after, while it is a matter of taste if you like to use it or not :)

Have a still nice day nice ni!

Prom makeup tutorial (Ball makeup step by step)

I thought it was time for another wish make-up, so here is one that is actually set in English - so I will try my hand at a bilingual post today :)

I'm hoping you understand English because you are honestly so talented with makeup and I'd love some help!

My name's Amy and my prom is at the start of July and I was wondering if you'd have any ideas of the makeup I could do to go with my dress please? It looks like this:
I'd love it if you could come up with something for me because I really admire your talents and would love to create something similar to yourself for my prom! If you do want to come up with something, I'm not sure if this would make a difference, but I'm quite pale and have blonde hair and green eyes.
Thank you so much for taking your time to read this. I understand if you can not come up with something but I would be so happy if you did. Again, thank you! X ”

Hello Amy! Wow what a beautiful dress! Georgeous!
Of course I want to help you with your makeup, I had many ideas but if I was going to wear that dress I would choose a cold makeup with a hint of turquoise that matches the dress .. So that is what I am showing you: )
I would also put a little bit of glitter on to make it sparkle like the back of the dress, maybe silver but turquoise or green would also me nice! My eyes, however, are very sensitive and teary today (I do not know why) so I skipped that detail.
If you do not like this makeup, I can also recommend a purple makeup to your dress! It will highlight both the dress and your green eyes :) For your lips I would recommend colors as peach or orange, that is really nice with turquoise and green colors!
