Light red nails

0

I got home a red nail polish from Yves Rocher several months ago, but then I had black nails (made at the salon) so it was almost impossible to paint over with red on the dark base - it just turned brown. But I painted on my toenails and fell in love with the color!

The next time I did the nails, we put on lots of rhinestones, and then I could not have the red nail polish over either because it is not nice to try to paint around all the rhinestones.

But now I realized that I have white nails without a lot of bling bling now! So I can finally test this nail polish on my fingers! :)

"Red nail polish, what's so special about it, it's very common?"  you might be thinking now. But this nail polish has such a clear red hue that it almost looks brilliant! So nice and yet classic.

Screenshots of rubis

Yves Rocher Luminous nail polish in the shade Rubis is what I'm talking about, and it costs SEK 75 on Yvesrocher.se!

In any case, I'm pretty sure it's that shade. Mine is called 101 Rouge, but that shade does not exist but there is one called Rubis that has exactly the same product image so it should be the same shade but a different name. I had saved a picture of 101 Rouge, and can therefore see that it is exactly the same picture :)

Nice huh? :)

I have had some nail growth as well as you may see. It is not possible to paint away completely, but oh how long my nails feel now just because I have a larger part that is colored! I get more careful with them, as if they were very long, although they are exactly the same length as this morning;)

And for those of you who missed it, my nails (besides the red color then) are made by awesome Christina on Nails Uppsala, and my readers have a 15% discount there if you enter my blog when you book an appointment!

Have a nice Friday night, nice of you! :)

Wish make-up - Cocktail party

2

“I'm going to have a cocktail party and as a hostess, the make-up must be perfect. I thought of wearing a black lace dress and since the dress is black, I want the make-up to stand out a little but not too colorful. It may contain colors but a little discreet such as a little darker purple, navy blue and gold. Maybe not exactly that combination;) then my vision is heavy makeup around the eyes and a little lighter on the lips. I want to achieve the greatest possible elegance. I have brown eyes, if that helps? The party is the 15th of March :) Thanks in advance.
Hug Sofie ”

Here comes your wish make-up! I also added a little black eye shadow to make the look less colorful and more smoky. It is a simple detail that can be varied once you put on make-up and see what you think is best - if you want the colors to be more visible, you take a little black, and if you feel a little too colorful, you just add a little more.

Hope you like it and feel super good tomorrow! :)

Linda lifts - Big Blink

The other day my sister Linda and I had a coffee date when she had stopped working. She works in a restaurant kitchen, and when I saw how dark she was around the eyes, I could not help but start talking mascaras.

This is how it is with mascaras, even if it is waterproof, it is not oilproof, and when you stand in food and fry for a whole day, you require a lot of makeup if it is to last.

And when she talked about what problem she has with mascaras, I could not help but let her borrow two mascaras and put to the test!

I myself have also worked in the kitchen, but I mostly stood at the counter and even though I moved a lot in the kitchen, it did not become as obvious as for Linda. So I was really curious when she came yesterday with her review. The mascaras she tested were Magnetic Lash, which I reviewed last week, as well Pür Minerals Big Blink.

Both actually kept the measure of sustainability, but Linda's favorite was… .. Pür Minerals !!! :)

It costs about 255kr.

Not only did she avoid getting panda eyes after an hour at work, but she had also received a lot of compliments for her eyelashes from her colleagues! They became very long and beautiful in fact, and Linda shone like a sun when I said she could keep the mascara :)

I like it too, the brush is great (I like rubber brushes!) And gives length and separated lashes. The fact that it also contains argan oil is a big plus.

Thumbs up for it in other words!

Project

40

Hi hope sweethearts! :)

I am working on a small "secret project" and would need a little help from you if you have the time and energy to answer a question :)

What do you think is the most difficult thing in makeup?

So, there is something that you have extra problems with, it can be anything.

I will be super happy for the response, it will benefit you in the end! :)

IsaDora makeup - Blue eyes

The day before yesterday, I showed an IsaDora make-up that highlights brown eyes, and yesterday green.

Maybe you can guess what today's makeup was? :)

The complementary color to blue is orange / yellow, as well as warm colors. Brown, gold, yellow, orange, copper and similar tones are what highlight blue eyes.

IsaDora has a 4-palette called 63 Brown Patina which has an incomparably nice brown-gold eye shadow! Rather, it is a brown shade with lots of gold glitter in it, so much glitter that it almost only looks golden in the packaging. I stood in the sun and watched the make-up in the sunlight, and got a real wow feeling!

The shadow looks dull in the outer edges, it did not attach as much glitter there because I blurred the shadow so much so it kind of fell off. But it was still a bit glitter, not as empty as it looks in the picture :)
