Slate Gray eyeliner makeup with noodle lips

Today's make-up is a simple look that I did to show you the incredibly nice dark gray eyeliner pen Slate Gray from Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen!

Slate Gray has been a novelty in the webshop for a few months now and we have had a great demand for gray eyeliners so it's great fun :)

Hope you like the look too!

Face primer - Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer
Foundation Gel - Pixi H2O Skintint (3 warm)
Concealer - Pixi Pat Away Concealing Base (2 Nude)
Powder that neutralizes redness - glo Redness relief powder
Contouring - Contouring Palette (2)
Rouge - Blush (35)
Fixing Mist - Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist
Powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder

Eyebrows - glo Micro Brow Liner (Raven)
(I have also used this to make a small dot / beauty spot on the cheek)

Lipstick - glo Lipstick (Confetti)

Many people wonder how I can make an eyeliner wing with a regular eyeliner pencil and the simplest answer is that I am light on the hand (important with a very creamy pencil so that you do not have to touch hard) and then I use an edge on the cape, it needs as well as not being freshly sharpened on top. Then if you need to smooth it, you can do it with a sharp brush afterwards before it dries. You can also draw a few strokes with the pen on a piece of paper before if you want to level the cape without having to sharpen it.

The pen is neither completely matte nor shimmery but only gives a nice luster that I like a lot!

  1. Eyeshadow primer, Pixi eye bright primer
  2. Fix with powder on the entire eyelid, Paese Bamboo Silk Powder
  3. Gray eyeliner from the outer corner of the eye and as a line outwards, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen (Slate Gray)
  4. Draw a line from the tip and towards the lash line at the top of the eye
  5. Fill in the eyeliner wing
  6. Paint the eyeliner on the entire lash line
  7. Use a soft brush and sweep on brown shadow in the crease line, intermediate light on the eyelid and light in the corner of the eye and under the brow, all 3 are from the trio palette Paese Opal Eyeshadow (Colorado)
  8. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear!

Eyeliner with wing is really something I never get tired of, I always feel good about it :)

Hugs are!

My business week v. 41

When this work week started, I was grateful that my job is not very physically strenuous, because I was doing the wood at home in the house from morning to evening this weekend and had so much pain in my whole body then! My whole body felt like a bruise, I was so happy with my soft chair and cozy slippers in the office :)

Now we are in Crete !!
This was another short week, a rather intense one as well to catch up with all the most important things in just three days - because we suddenly took a last minute trip to Crete I, Miska and Annika! :) Yep a little crazy we are probably everything!

Most people seem to think that we are mentally ill who booked another trip this fast after the trip to Spain haha. But we are not so heavenly quirk indeed!

1. Annika (with whom we have the company together) had this holiday week planned a long time ago 2. She needed someone to go with so as not to have to go alone and 3. there are incredibly cheap all-inclusive trips this autumn.

So we said yes! :) In other words, last Thursday we three went to Crete and are away for a week. So cozy!

It's mostly chill and leisure but also a bit of preparatory brainstorming about our new make-up company that we are about to start. It is not possible to get away from the fact that a lot of work is also talked about when we 3 co-owners sit together;) Although usually we are good at not taking our free time to talk "boring" work things but it is mostly ideas and inspiration. So it's just fun! And so you can justify it all by saying that it is useful for the company in the long run as well;)

So the sea, there is nothing that makes me so calm so fast ♥ If you want to be successful, rest is as important as hard work!

Long working days
Since I only worked Mon-Wed this week, I also had to work in the evenings to keep up with all the work for the whole week. So it was long work days and I was quite stressed all Wednesday actually, but it does not matter when you know that you should be free for a whole week!

One thing I like about working evenings otherwise is that I often think in the office ”will this generate returns?"So I will get so much results from what I do now that it is worth the work / time I put in? A thought that may give me some performance anxiety. But if I work late at night, I can think instead ”but if I had not done this now, I would have been free instead"And then it does not matter if it gives enough return or not because it is kind of a" bonus job "haha.

An example - the blog is part of my job and I want to make a blog post about our trip to Spain because I have received requests for it. And that would be fun too! But it takes a very long time to do, so then I immediately think about whether I should make some fun makeup material instead that benefits the company more. But if I do it in the evening, I can justify it by not taking time off work and then I do not even have to think about it.

Kinky mindset maybe, but whatever works;)

My new computer desk;) The most difficult thing about working at home is that my cat Viktoria is so cuddly and does not accept at all that I should choose the computer in front of her. Usually she lies over my arms (although I key on the keyboard!) Because the computer is in the way of my knee but now I was smart and put the computer on her instead. All happy haha!

Spoiled at work
I'm really spoiled because I get so extremely much confirmation and compliments at work that I'm really moved! Our customers are really the goaste people, I told Miska before that many of my regular customers care more about me than most of my family. It's so nice ♥

One day this week for example: I started the morning by throwing in and lining up a few carts of firewood, in full on party makeup before work haha. And then I felt tired, worn out and had just improved on my sweaty makeup when I jumped in the car on the way to work and posted a selfie of today's makeup on Insta Stories. I immediately received comments that I am so good and that it was so nice! :) Then at the salon I helped several customers to find makeup products in the store and especially one of them was so heavenly, heavenly grateful for all the tips and was so heavenly happy and wanted help from me the next time she came in again. Then I had a regular customer booked for brynfix and when I picked her up in the waiting room she exclaimed “but WOW how handsome you are today! It's like a revelation here when you came in !! ” Hahaha.

Yes, but you hear, how many people get this much appreciation on a normal day at work? Spoiled is the word! :) And I njuuuter!

This is what I looked like a few minutes before I did my job-haha. The glamorous life as a homeowner;)

Halloween!
I have not started doing any Halloween make-up myself this year yet, the time has not been enough. But we have ordered new material (blood, latex and such scares) and started marketing that Lisa makes Halloween bookings at the salon! :)

Lisa is so excited that it's finally Halloween again haha, so much fun!

I made this picture for our social media!

New pictures in the waiting room screen
Another small project this week was to fix pictures of all our treatments to the screen we have in the waiting room. We have had a bit of a problem with it before because our old screen got a crunch from the heat and kind of stopped working, so we had to move the devices now and fix new pictures when we were still running.

So I cut together a lot of before and after pictures of all our treatments which now go as a slide show for everyone who is waiting for their booked time. Perfect way to market more treatments!

I also thought of adding some product tips and stuff later, but did not have time for it this week.

In addition to this, I have also had two more staff meetings (ie individual development meetings that I have with all colleagues) so now they are all made for this month, the next follow-up will be in November!

Yes, so it was a selection from my 3-day week! Now I will continue to ice cream by the pool and talk maternity talk and business development with Miska and Annika;) Next Sunday you will get an update on how the trip went purely in terms of business as well.

Hugs are!

Autumn makeup tutorial

I enjoy autumn as much as I can now! Spoil with everything I like - soft warm sweaters, lit candles, a large cup of tea, light a fire, etc. Because it is now in the beginning of autumn that you appreciate such things the most, then it becomes the cold and darkness more of a habit and a must to dress warm;)

But now, as I said, I enjoy and here comes today's look with a mystery sweater, sweet braids and a dark and gloomy autumn makeup. Love the contrasts!

Colored face primer - glo Tinted Primer spf 30 (Medium)
Concealer - Pixi Pat Away Concealing Base (2 Nude)
Foundation - glo Pressed Base Foundation (Golden medium)
Powder that neutralizes redness - glo Redness relief powder
Contouring - Contouring Palette (2)
Rouge - Blush (35)
Fixing Mist - Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist
Powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder

Eyebrows - glo Micro Brow Liner (Raven)

Lipstick - glo Lipstick (Date night)

This eye makeup is inspired by this makeup (link to a previous blog post) that I did on a customer this summer. Though I made my eyes a little more sooty and intense :)

The peach gold, the light and the dark brown shade are all from the 4 palette glo Shadow Quad (Rebel Angel) and the carbon black is Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (602)

  1. Eyeshadow primer
Peach golden eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid, apply with a dampened brush (moistened with Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist for a more metallic result.
  2. Brown eyeshadow (which tightens burgundy) at the end of the eyelid
  3. The same shade along the globe line and fade out
  4. Black eye shadow at the end of the eyelid and a little sharp in the globe line
  5. Mulberry-colored eyeliner along the waterline and the lower lash line, Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen (Matte Mulberry)
  6. Light eye shadow in the corner of the eye
Peach golden eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line
  7. Glitter in the middle of the eyelid and in the corner of the eye, Mood Wood Natural Glitter (purple) attached with Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer
  8. Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear!

I really had a lot of decision anxiety about whether I would have dark or light lips for this make-up. It would have been really nice with bright lips too! :)

Hope you were inspired!

Hug ♥

Bridal makeup before & after

I know that you like before and after pictures of customer bookings that I make at the salon, so I can happily show you these pictures of a bridal make-up that I did in September!

She wanted a natural makeup where she would still look like herself and she wears almost no makeup at all otherwise.

Here is the result:

Natural and nice makeup! Then she would go on and fix her hair afterwards.

Light coverage and nice glow in the skin, rosy cheeks because she has it naturally but I dampened it a little so that it does not look uneven if it flares up more during the day. And then a natural eye makeup with discreet shimmer, light eyebrows and a neutral color on the lips.

She was very happy! :)

The difference is great even though every detail is very natural. She is incredibly light-made too, what if you had such nice skin yourself! Some customers you get so jealous of then haha.

Golden brown makeup

This make-up was the first step-by-step make-up I did after our trip to Spain, I felt almost a little rusty haha.

It was a down-to-earth autumn make-up with a coral / orange color on the lips that highlights my tan nicely :) And such a little extra fun eyeliner wing to it!

Hope you like the make-up you too ♥

Colored face primer - glo Tinted Primer spf 30 (Medium)
Concealer - Pixi Pat Away Concealing Base (2 Nude)
Foundation - glo Pressed Base Foundation (Golden medium)

What do you think?

All eye shadows come from the Trio Palette Paese Opal eyeshadow trio (golden brown) which contains a light, a golden and a brown eye shadow.

  1. Mix the liquid Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer with the golden shadow and paint eyeliner at the bottom of the lash line
  2. Do in the same way at the end of the lash line + eyeliner wing (not filled in) with the brown eye shadow.
  3. Fill in the eyeliner wing with the light shadow.
  4. White eye shadow over the eyeliner wing, Paese cashmere eyeshadow (601)
  5. Black shadow around the entire eyeliner, Paese cashmere eyeshadow (602)
  6. The gold shadow (without the liquid) at the bottom of the lower lash line, the light shadow at the entire eyelid and the brown shadow along the globe line and the lower lash line.
  7. Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear!
