Make up a bruise

AnonymousSara sa…
Cool! Can you make up bruises? I'm thinking of dressing up as a hanged person on Halloween, but need a little help with how to make up a big bruise around the whole neck ^^

I have done a little step by step on a bruise around the neck, but before I did a test mark on the leg, to show a little what to think about!

The result was not great, but as long as you understand the principle, you can do better on your own :)

I have used a regular shadow overlay, blush, green concealer, cream foundation and eye shadows in RED, blue, lila, green and yellow.
Which colors you use depends a bit on whether you want one new or old bruise.
A new bruise is very red, and a little blue at the edges. While it then goes more towards the blue and purple direction. Finally, it is green and yellow.
I have chosen to use all colors, so that you will understand a little what I mean :)
Cream foundation as a base where you want the bruise.
Red eye shadow in the middle of the bruise.
Rouge around the red.
Bruises are rarely bright red, so I try to get a duller color by using blush!
Cold blue eye shadow around the blush.
Purple eye shadow dotted a little on and around the blue.
Green concealer at the edges.
A little green and yellow eye shadow at the edges.
And blur a little to make it more diffuse.
Remember that bruises are not perfect, they should be uneven so dutta happy on the shadows to make it more spotty!
Hope you understood! :)

Exactly one year ago

I think it's so fun to go back in sometimes the blog archive, and check out what I did exactly one year ago!
Most of the time I think "But God, it's already been a year!" and sometimes I diss my own make-up and realize that I have become much better at certain details :)
Thought for fun to publish the post I wrote October 28th 2011!
   Colorful party make-up
Today is Friday, which usually means party or coziness!
For me, it means cosiness. Miska and I will at least cook extra nice food today in honor of the day :)
But for those of you who are going to party today, I did a colorful party make-up, which defies today's gray weather!

Purple eye shadow on the entire eyelid, 180 pallets.
Gray-black eye shadow along the globe line, 180 pallets.
Green eye shadow at the end of the lower lash line, 180 pallets.
Black eye shadow (slightly) at the end of the globe line and the lower lash line, 180 pallets.
Creamy white eye shadow at the bottom of the lower lash line, Glo Minerals (banana)
White eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid (to lighten the purple a little) Glo Minerals (Diamond)
Black eyeliner on the entire upper lash line, Oriflame.
No lipstick / lip gloss today. Sometimes my lips have just nice color anyway :)
Today it will be last internship day at Tygcentrum… Two weeks have passed so quickly.

By the way, yesterday I plucked the eyebrows of Ulrika who works there. Forgot to snap before and after pictures, but she was at least very happy! :)

Now I have to wedge!
I started blogging in January 2009 and, back then, the blog was not a makeup blog. Lived a completely different life at that time, had not even started high school!

What exactly did you do a year ago? :)

Down to earth party make-up

0
Here is a step-by-step description of the party make-up I did at Frida yesterday! Then, however, I did a little darker.
Have worked onMjölnarens Mat & Café in Östhammar today, so the pictures were snapped just when the sun started to rise.
In other words, they are a bit gray, but had time to take a picture of the "results picture" after work before the sun went down. So that picture is good! :)
Here you can clearly see which one difference it will be on the whole make-up, whether you have good light or not!
Very down to earth makeup, and sooo party!
Dark brown eye shadow at the end and bottom of the eye, gloEyeshadow (Kona)
I always add the eyeshadows a bit sloppy at first, and work out everything while I put on make-up. I do not know why really, thats how I work;)
I usually work a little harder when I do step by step, so that the first pictures do not become so awful hehe. But today I could not bear it, so now you can see how the makeup will slowly but surely look good!
Valid eye shadow on the rest of the eyelid, Eleven 180 Palette.
Brownish eye shadow in the middle of the eyelid and at the end along the globe line, Eleven 180 Palette.
White eyeliner on the inner lash line, H&M.
Black eyeliner on the upper lash line, H&M.
Light yellow-white shimmery eye shadow in the corner of the eye and at the bottom of the lower lash line, Kryolan Eyedust (No.1)
Light yellow-white matt eye shadow under the brow, Eleven 180 Palette.
Green glitter at the tip of the eye, Make Up Store glitter (Peacock)
Add more glitter at the bottom, and a little less further out, to make it look a little smoky.
The glitter is attached with the liquid Mixing Liquid from Make Up Store.
Navy blue mascara on all lashes, Max Factor False Lash Effect (Deep Blue)

Now I'm seriously thinking about going to bed, and it's not even 6 pm! Shame :)

Have a nice evening everyone!

Get a party make-up without feeling over-made

There are many, many, many girls who are not particularly used to using makeup, but who are still very interested in it!

And at a party, many people want a little extra makeup, but then easily become uncomfortable.

I therefore thought I would give you a little short tips on what to think about, to get a festive party make-up without feeling over-made!

1. Make up no further than the crease line (the globe line is the space between the eye itself and the brow bone. Think of a skull and squeeze a little around the eye - the globe line is right at the top of the eye socket!) If you apply eye shadow just a little over the globe line, it can still feel like it is only make-up up to the brow, if you are not used to it. Although it is several cm away.

2. Choose matte eye shadows. Shimmery eye shadows are more visible than matte, and more easily give an over-made-up impression.

3. Apply light eye shadow on the inside of the eye and under the brow, it opens up the eye more and feels more natural!

4. Avoid very colorful make-up, if you are not used to this, it is difficult to feel good in! If you want color - instead place a "color click" somewhere on the eye, for example at the bottom of the lower lash line, and choose natural colors for the rest.

The brides I made up yesterday :)

Tell me if you did not understand everything!

Party makeup

0

Here comes yesterday's second party make-up - at Frida!

I have made up Frida so many times, and it's so much fun because she really trusts me now.

She says at a glance what she is looking for, but then gives me free rein!

Frida wanted to match her deer(?)sweater with golden and brown shades.
"And green glitter!" I said "Like the forest !!!"
"Njaaa, green?" Be her first reaction. But then I got what I wanted, and it happened so jäääkla nice with green glitter!
Too bad I did not get better close-ups on the eyes, the glitter is not visible at all on the full picture because they are located at the bottom / bottom of the eyelid, and are not visible when she looks straight ahead.
Must do it on myself soon, so you will see what I mean;)
Frida fits so well in a little extended eye shadow, a little cat eye effect.
Shitty!
Gorgeous!
