I received an email from a reader who is very keen on Pixi H2O Skintint and asked me to post before and after pictures of it, so now I have photographed it and am also thinking of sitting down and making a small film with it today where I show how easy it is to apply :)

Pixi H2O Skintint was one of the first products I tested from Pixi, and I fell in love! I'll be doing drugs this summer, the world's best summer product!

This cream is reminiscent of a bb cream in its properties, it evens out the skin tone and gives a medium coverage that looks incredibly natural on the skin. But the big difference is that this is not a regular cream, but a colored gel!

Application
♥ The gel sinks very well into the skin and leaves a very natural result.
♥ The gel is water-based and contains moisturizing ingredients, which makes it suitable for both people with dry and oily skin.
♥ You can easily supplement with concealer if you have blemishes that interfere, as this does not cover 100%. But it makes blemishes less visible and removes red areas almost completely, so the result is incredibly nice even without concealer.
♥ If you want extra coverage in some area, it is also possible to dab on extra there, without the result being uneven or cakey.
♥ You do not need to use powder over, but I who like a matte result supplement with powder as well.

Results
♥ You get an even and radiant complexion that looks unmade up but perfect.
♥ Available in 3 shades that adapt to your own skin tone, choose a shade according to how light / dark the skin tone is.
♥ The durability is wow-good! It is water resistant and fits like a glove, you can even touch your face without it becoming uneven or ugly.

Ingredients
♥ It contains green tea that is rich in antioxidants, moisturizing rose water, caring English chamomile and relaxing lavender that together soothe and care for the skin.

Award
♥ Costs SEK 349 for 35 ml, available for purchase Here.

    • Yes it contains moisturizing and caring ingredients so it is possible to do so, but I use day cream underneath anyway. Always good with a day cream that is adapted to their own skin type, I think. Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal which is also available on Byher.se is more made to be a day cream as well! Hugs :)

  1. How do you think Zuii foundation is in compared to glominerals? I am sensitive to bismuth and saw that glo contains this… I thought when you have worked with glominerals :-) How do you think you should put on make-up this summer? Is it mineral foundations or bb / cc creams that apply? Thought of it from Pixi, which you reviewed yesterday .. :-)

    • Yes gloMinerals contains bismuth but it says "may contain" so it is probably a very small part. I have talked to many who have not been able to use bare minerals but who have switched to glo and it works well. Both Zuii and gloMinerals are good, but the biggest difference is that glo gives a more complete result, you get more luster with Zuii. In addition, Zuii contains more ingredients that soothe and moisturize the skin. But you can vary the coverage rate well on both depending on whether you put a little / more, and in this way get either medium coverage or a comprehensive result. So on that front, they'm pretty much the same.

This summer I will probably use Pixi H2O skintint a lot, because it is water resistant, but mineral foundations also work well all year round unlike many other foundations :)
