A good makeup remover is very important, partly to get rid of all the make-up (it is not good at all to sleep with make-up residue around the eyes) but also to not irritate the skin around the eyes which is so thin and sensitive.
On the one hand, the ingredients in make-up removers can irritate both eyes and skin, but it is also a problem if the product is not effective - Then you have to rub and stuff so much and it damages both skin and eyelashes, and there is also a greater risk of getting make-up and remover in the eyes if you have to work so much.
Now I have tested The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover, and I can really recommend it! It takes Quickly remove the make-up, even the mascara, without having to rub much at all. Just hold the cotton against the eye for a few seconds, and then "caress" the makeup gently.
It is a little oily, which is probably the reason why it is so good against waterproof makeup as well, but it is moderately oily without leaving too much around the eyes afterwards!

The remover contains Community Fair Trade-produced chamomile from the UK, which has a calming and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin.
