Wella Instamatic Pink Dream

As I told you last Friday, I was with the super talented Monica Werner and freshened to my hair color a little then, and it feels so heavenly good!

No huge change, but first and foremost I needed to color away the growth, so there we used the same color as we did the time before, a dark red that gives a nice depth to the scalp.

And besides that, I was craving a slightly more rosy-toned tone in the lengths, which I have blogged about before that you can get with colored hair wrap. If I do not use my colored hair wrap at all now, the lengths are kind of blonde and a bit in the copper direction, which I also like, but I really got a craze for this with rosé now :)

So when she had brushed in the hair color in the outgrowth, she had a pink tone in the rest of the hair. Here is the result:

rose gold hair color

The copper in color before mixed with pink gives a kind of rose gold tone, or what can you call it? I absolutely love it!

Really nice to have it colored so now and avoid using colored packaging just as much. Now my plan is to freshen it up with pink wrap every now and then but it will not require as much work as the hair color before - then I had red wrap in the scalp (brushed in dry hair) and in the beginning I had nothing at all in the lengths but it lately I also mixed the red wrap with conditioner and had in the lengths, and I did every shower.

Now I will only need wrapping every now and then (will test one that is pink from the beginning) and then I can have it in my whole hair in the shower only, and avoid hassle :)

IMG_9172_1111The pink tone in the lengths is actually a pastel pink color from Wella's color series "Instamatic" and this shade is called Pink dream. The Instamatic colors are, as you hear the name, inspired by Instagram and all the filters you can put on the pictures. In other words, these colors are just like a tone above your natural hair color!

I long until I get home my pink wrap too, it's so fun to vary and test myself with them. Then I will show more pictures! Thought to start by mixing out the color wrap and have it in the whole hair, but will also try to have it concentrated and see how it turns out. You can also vary the duration of action depending on how intense the result you want to get. Gonna be so much fun :)

Colored wrapping is a good quick fix when you want to experiment with hair colors, but when you want a more durable result, I can really recommend going to a hairdresser who uses Wellas Instamatic colors! I'm super happy ♥
