Pixi's eyeshadow primer has been out of stock with my distributor for a long time, but now it has finally come home and is in stock again on Byher.se. It is my favorite primer that I have used in all the make-up that you have seen here in the blog lately :)
And Pixis concealer Correction Concentrate was also sold out even though I got it home in my latest delivery, it is so heavenly good, so now it is in stock again too!
Pixi Eye Bright Primer:
♥ The eyeshadow primer comes in a smart pencil with an applicator that makes it easy to spread the cream on the eyelid. Screw in the bottom of the pen and a fair amount of primer will come out directly on the applicator.
♥ The texture is creamy and soft, without being sticky. Easy to spread on the eyelid and get even and nice. Apply directly with the pen, and then spread the cream evenly with your fingertip.
♥ Contains, among other things, chamomile that has soothing, moisturizing, healing and anti-inflammatory properties.
♥ Has a neutral light beige shade that makes the color of your eye shadow as nice as in the packaging.
Why use eyeshadow primer?
To make the eye shadow adhere better and become more colorful, and above all more durable. With an eye shadow primer during make-up, your eye makeup lasts from morning to evening! This is because the eyelids also become oily during the day (often even on people with dry skin) and with the stress when you also blink, in the end your entire make-up will be like two lines on the eyelid before the day is over - if you do not use an eyeshadow primer.
Here you see the difference of a purple eye shadow without and with the eye shadow primer from Pixi. The shadow adheres much better with a primer under:
Pixi Correction Concentrate:
Application
I use a small flat and compact makeup brush to apply, for example Nanshy Flat Definer Brush, then you get good precision and also you should not put your fingers in the jar so then a brush is great! You can then choose if you want to work with just the brush when applying, or if you, as I usually do - apply with the brush and then spread the paint evenly by dabbing with your fingertip.
You only need a tiny bit of the rough concealer to get full coverage, which is both economical and nicer.
Results
In just a few seconds, you have covered all the irregularities in the skin tone in an effective and natural way. It fits well all day and is great in every way.
In these pictures I have covered the blisters and a little redness around the nose, and brightened up a little under the eyes. The rest of the face is still unmade up in the afterimages.
