Hey finest ni!

Today's makeup I had at the NYX Nordic Face Awards 2017! Woop woop :) It's been a while now, but I'm a little behind in my makeup publications hehe.

The only thing I had decided before was that I wanted glitter, I usually always take the opportunity to have it when I do something and not just make up for the blog. Because I love glitter! But it is difficult to capture glitter in the picture, it becomes much more effective in reality.

In its entirety, the make-up was quite simple in fact, technically speaking, I think basically everyone can do it as long as they have good products :) So it's a tip for everyone who thinks the look is nice - copy straight off! Quick and easy!

Eyeshadow primer, Pixi eye bright primer
Brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid, Paese Opal Eyeshadow (Caffe Latte)
Applied with Nanshy Tapered Crease Brush
Fade the edges
Gold glitter and bronze glitter in the middle of the eyelid. I have used Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer to attach - worked just fine! As the worst mixing liquid, that I did not know that I had one in the range in the webshop before :) Cool!
Black eyeshadow on the inside and outside of the eyelid, Paese cashmere (602)
Brown eyeliner along the lower lash line, (same pen as for the brows)
Light eye shadow in the corner of the eye, Paese Opal Eyeshadow (Caffe Latte)
Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

The curls are made with the pliers HH Simonsen 360 ° ROD VS5 Deep Waver (Adlink) which is a favorite here at home for both me and my sister! It costs SEK 999 and is an extra deep pliers so you get very big waves in your hair, so nice!

Glam makeup (Black & White) - Step by step

I really have a tendency to oscillate between thinking ”time goes by so fast, I have no time and I just step on the same place"And at the same time I am an expert in being the one who says"think just ONE year ago it was like this, like this, and like this, god so much that happens in one year ”. Lol.

Anyone else recognize themselves or is it just me who's a little schizophrenic? :)

2 years ago, the preparations for our salon Creative Makeup started and in March the following year we set a goal for one and a half years ahead, ie 30 June 2017. It felt so sick far ahead, the day that will never come. And now we are there, completely crazy! And you know what? We have reached our goals !! :) What a feeling!

And yesterday, Miska and Annika and I had a planning day Odalgården (great conference venue by the lake) and set our new goals for 1 year ahead - 30 June 2018!

And when you are a person like me, it is actually useful to look back and realize how much has time to happen in a short time to realize that YES I do a lot. And therefore I thought I would take the opportunity to show a make-up that I did exactly a year ago :) Both because I still think it is very nice, but also to "honor" flashbacks and pat on the shoulder over how much you have done and finished. Looking at an old picture of oneself can reinforce that feeling, one sees what kind of hairstyle one had then, perhaps reached old garment or eye shadow that one used a lot, and is drawn back to what life looked like then.

Sustainable beauty is our niche at Creative Makeup and it feels so extra good this summer! You just need to wash your face, lubricate yourself and then you are ready for the sun, regardless of whether you are at home in the garden or chatting with your friends at an outdoor restaurant in town :)

I personally am extra grateful for my "sustainable-beauty-treatments" now, in addition to the fact that we are fully booked, the company also has financial statements, products must be inventoried and figures must be counted on. I have not had time to put on make-up in the morning or fixed step-by-step pictures for you, which results in me being without make-up at work all week! Has kind of never happened this many days in a row haha.

And even though I am not unhappy without make-up, you still want to be a little smart at work when working with beauty, or at least not walk around and look like an unfixed hay sack. But as long as I brush my hair and put on decent clothes, I do not look so tired unfixed :)

Here I am now, completely naked in the face! And super tired and newly awake haha, but it does not look super much anyway;)

My permanent makeup tattoos (eyebrows, black lashliner, light inliner along the waterline and lips) they sit there all the time, but now I have also colored the lashes which makes a huge difference! The eyebrows may need to be filled in again soon, but like when they are quite bright actually. What do you think?

I would like permanent lashes as well (lash lift / permanent bending) but then they are a bit in the way when I have to take step-by-step make-up so I usually do not want to do it so often, it lasts quite a long time. But then it would have been even nicer! You can look at what my lashes look like with a lash lift in my previous posts Permanent eyelashes and Make-up without mascara.

Here you see my eyelash coloring before and after :) Even though they are straight, it makes a big difference to get them carbon black!

And not only that, I made gel polish too! :) How nice! At the salon, it's Olga who does it, but I borrowed her material and actually fixed mine myself. Not as flawless as when Olga does, but enough for me!

Summer feeling with a scent of exotic coconut

Fragrance
Coconut is one of the scents that evokes the most summer feelings in me than any other scent. But it is quite difficult to find products that smell good coconut I think. If it's a too sticky coconut scent, I can easily get nauseous and it easily takes over and becomes too much, or it starts to smell strange after a while. This is exactly the question I also saw in a beauty forum I am a member of on Facebook, one that demanded good products for coconut lovers so that you are completely immersed in a good, warm couscous scent without that it will be too much.

And to all of you who are also coconut lovers, I can really recommend this kit! The scent delivers! After using all 4 products, you would think that I would have spread a cloud of coconut as soon as I entered a room, completely smeared in coconut AND coconut perfume as well, but it still smells mild and good, but clear.

I asked Annika when I got to work if she thought I smelled too much coconut. Because sometimes it can be difficult to decide for yourself when you get used to the scent. Annika is very sensitive to strong scents and does not like at all when people wear perfume. When she smelled me, she said it smelled clear but not strong at all, and that she did not think about it when I entered the room until I asked and she came closer, and we had talked for a while before I asked her. So that was a perfect rating I think!

Yves Rocher Bath and Shower Gel - Coconut (adlink)

This shower cream is like a gel in consistency, it foams well but not super much if you just lubricate it so I prefer to use it with a sponge because then there will be quite a lot of foam. I'm really eager to take a bath and test this as a bath foam, I think it would work well. Mums! It contains aloe vera from organic farms.

Good environmental choice: Contains more than 97 % ingredients of natural origin. Easily degradable formula. The bottle is recyclable and contains recycled plastic to reduce the use of new plastic.

Yves Rocher Body Lotion - Coconut (adlink)

This body lotion is very thin in consistency, almost a bit like a gel, and sinks in immediately which I value very highly. Hate to lubricate myself with products that do not go into the skin quickly, then it will never be because I lubricate myself at all. But this one goes into the skin at once!

The formula feels incredibly moisturizing for the skin and contains shea butter.

Yves Rocher Botanical Oil Body and Massage - Coconut (Adlink)

Body oil is also a tricky product to find one that I like - but once I do, I'm completely stuck! Is there anything that makes the skin as soft as oil? Love it! Especially on arms and legs, then I feel so taken care of by myself haha.

The most important thing about a body oil is that it must not be too greasy, of course all oils will be in large quantities, but it should be easy to take a little and lubricate the whole body without being a slippery eel afterwards. This one goes into the skin quickly and you feel soft the rest all day long, absolutely wonderful!

It contains five nourishing oils; jojoba, macadamia, safflower, apricot kernel and coconut. Imagine lubricating your whole body with this coconut-scented treat after a hot bath, my God, so cozy.

Yves Rocher Eau de Toilette - Coconut (Adlink)

A perfume with more than 93 % ingredients of natural origin, fun! I almost did not dare to spray this on myself before the job first for perfume with coconut scent feels like done to become too much. But well I got it! It enhances the scent of coconut and lasts all day, but is very mild and soft nonetheless. I think it almost feels more like a mist than a perfume.

The only thing I can think is that the spray is a bit hard, I like soft sprays that are very finely divided and soft and that you would rather take several small sprays on different parts of the body than a large one. But you can spray a bit away and "go into" the perfume even if you do not want so much in the same area :)

New treatment - Lymphatic drainage with electrodes

In August, Helene will start working with us at Creative Makeup! (Answer yes there is already a misunderstanding between our names "Helena" and "Helene" haha).

Helene works mainly with Carboxy treatments (a carbon dioxide treatment you can read more about here!) but she also does more treatments such as waxing, reflexology and the treatment that I will show you today - lymph drainage with electrodes!

When I heard "lymph drainage" for the first time, I thought it sounded very strange, but as soon as Helene explained everything to me, it does not sound at all strange anymore :) And it was actually one of her regular customers on this treatment that really got me curious about this because she was sooo happy with it and has done it several times. ”I feel so light afterwards and my stomach gets completely flat!She said. She was about my size so I immediately booked an appointment to test this myself too :)

Why do lymph drainage with electrodes?
Lymphatic drainage is actually a common treatment but is usually done with the help of massage where you massage with movements towards the lymphatic stations. Surely many of you have heard of it? The difference is that Helene does this with electrodes to not solely cleanse the body but also reduce fat and cellulite. It's like a mixture of lymph drainage and Electrolipolysis treatment.

The local metabolism increases, fluid accumulations are drained and the lymphatic system is "purified". We all feel good about this, regardless of body size.

How does the treatment work?
1. The electrodes are attached to the abdomen and thighs, the exact location is individual and this is what Helene sees.
2. The device is switched on and you feel that it is a little tingling where the electrodes are located.
After a while the device sounds and it means that it "changes setting", in the end it tingled more strongly and in one place on the thigh it was a little stinging feeling. But far from hurt, it was not even uncomfortable and I am very sensitive both physically and mentally haha.
4. In total, you lie and chill for 45 minutes and do not have to worry about anything other than taking it easy :)

After the treatment & result
After the treatment, it is common to feel light and the area is more tight. Some people notice a huge difference and that clothes are looser immediately, while some do not have as much fluid accumulation and do not have as clear an effect.

How many treatments do you need?
You can do this as a cure with 1-2 treatments a week, it costs 450 SEK per treatment and if you book 15 treatments you get a 10% discount, which gives the total sum 6075 SEK. However, some people feel a big difference after just one treatment and do this at regular intervals when they themselves feel the need.

How does it work?
Electrodes send current and pulse frequencies into adipose tissue and break down so-called triglycerides into simple fatty acids. The triglycerides cannot penetrate the cell membrane, but the simple fatty acids can pass freely through the cell wall and into the tissue fluid, whereupon the lymph vessels transport them further.

In lymphatic drainage, this process greatly accelerates and streamlines. The electrical flow creates an increased local blood circulation which leads to an increase in the local temperature and an anti-inflammatory reaction.

Summary - Triglycerides are a kind of fats or oils that are found in the body, the electrodes break them down so that they can penetrate the cell membrane, which they otherwise cannot. Then the lymphatic system is cleansed and then these fats are transported away.

What is the lymphatic system?
The lymphatic system consists of lymph vessels and tissue, the vessels expand as a network in the body and collect fluid that is not taken up by the blood vessels. The lymph consists of excess fluid that is present between the cells and during a day 1-4 liters of lymph are formed!

My result
I did not notice any direct difference after a treatment, slightly on the top of the thighs just below the panty line think I which I did not expect. But it's hard to know if it's a placebo or not I think, but I did not feel as light as the customer I talked to before felt.

But not everyone has much to drain either, and you do not know that until you test!

In any case, you feel good about this cleansing, so if you want to test and do not get visible results, it is still not unnecessary. Especially not when it is an affordable treatment, some can probably pay 450: - just to be able to lie in that quiet room and be at peace for a while haha :)

We have opened Helene's schedule in August so it is possible to book now Creativemakeup.se, and since she has worked with these treatments for many sick years and already has a large clientele, her August schedule is already starting to fill up.
