Purple eyes & noodle lips

It was a long time since I had purple eyes and it was a long time since I had nude lips, so I have used it in today's makeup! :) So nice combo also ♥

No advanced or direct special make-up, but very nice!

Remove milieu with Fibroblast

3

I am often asked what the white "dots" or "lumps" around the eyes are and why you get them, and how to remove them. Milies are called these and may be due to the use of incorrect skin care, often for dehydration, not adapted to face / eyes (eg body lotion) or which clogs the skin.

I myself have never had it before, but have in recent months tested a lot of new skin care products and then I suddenly got a pretty big milieu in one eye. Great compared to I've never had one before anyway :)

In any case, it becomes a small hard ball of, among other things, sebum that can stay in the skin for any length of time. It's not like a pimple that can be squeezed or that heals on its own after a few days, they can disappear on their own as well, but often they sit for a very long time.

At the salon, we will soon start with a new treatment called fibroblast, it is above all a lifting treatment that raises sagging eyelids and minimizes wrinkles, but you can also do other exciting things with it. It is a small plasma flash that reacts with the skin! The other day Annika tried to remove milia on me and Miska with fibroblast and it went just fine!

Check out the difference:

IMG_4813_pilföreefter

I have never removed milia before so can not compare with how it feels / how the healing is when you remove with a small knife thing at a dermatologist. But this was in any case incredibly smooth!

Annika held the plasma flash to the dot for a few seconds, then removed the bullet and then it was ready. There was a small dot on the eye afterwards which was a tiny, tiny brown dot for 2 days, and when I woke up on the 3rd day it was completely healed.

Miska's dot was even easier to remove, already in the evening the second day I could not see where it had sat no matter how closely I looked.

If it is more gentle or smooth than in the traditional way, I dare not give any guarantees. But logically, it feels more gentle with a thing that is tested and adapted to be used specifically on the eyelids, than to make a small incision in the thin skin on the eyelid. Especially if you, as many have, have several miles to remove at once. Or what do you think? :)

IMG_4813_before

In any case, I am very pleased that it is gone now and have returned more to my old skin care from Sanctum which has worked very well before. So I hope the skin around the eyes stops protesting :)

In a few weeks we will offer the treatment at Creative Makeup in Uppsala! The training is in Germany and after that we will nail down exact treatment packages, prices, etc. so I will return with more info as soon as you can book. But as I said, it is mainly a lifting treatment for eyelids and wrinkles.

The renovation underwear is on!

12

For a salon owner, makeup artist and blogger, my days are anything but glamorous now haha, because as I have mentioned in passing, we have become homeowners!

We have decided to keep my mother's house, it has always been our meeting point and both me and Miska had already lived here with my mother all spring so it still feels natural despite the circumstances.

And now the house is valued before the inheritance division, which means that we can start to fix something nice here! Dad renovated the house when they moved here but it was 23 years ago now so there is an incredible amount to fix.

We will do more later, there is really no hurry, but Miska and I have taken hold of two rooms that feel important for us to be able to "land a little", both practically and mentally.

Hope you like an everyday post with mobile pictures in the middle of everything, wanted to show that I am not lazy just because the blog has not been updated today :)

IMG_1674_111

When you have cleaned your wardrobe and now realize that you do not have any clothes that you can destroy with paint - then the work shirt with the old salon logo works perfectly! What luck that we changed the logo, otherwise I would have had to paint naked :)

IMG_1677_111

… And Miska's underwear! Yes but I am not who it is;)

The one room we have put our teeth into is mom's room. My God, it feels weird. But it's me and Miska's room now and as you can see it's a little extra charged compared to the rest of the house. We sleep in my mother's room in my mother's bed, and I feel that I need to get a little "me and Miska" into the energies there as well.

In the other room we are fixing in now, the first idea was that I should have it as a walk in closet - for all my beauty products! You hear so wonderful :) But the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to make it a workroom.

As soon as that room is finished, I will put on make-up and do all the blog material at home in the morning before work, also make film adaptations with good light and stuff. And then I will fix computer jobs, take customers and do company work at the salon. Feels right actually!

That room is almost finished, here you get a sneak peek:

IMG_1682_111

We have painted from dark blue to chalk white and sanded the floors! The floor was painted in a glossy, semi-dark, yellower wood tone that was also so worn that you have to take care when you are lazy because if you drag your feet on the floor, you get sticks in your toes. But now it's starting to get really nice! Have no role model but you can imagine what a difference that is.

Not only do you have your own company with 4 employees and a salon, shop and webshop, no, but here we will become homeowners and start renovating as well. You would just hear about my two new job projects I want to start now in the middle of it all as well. I'm not smart on a spot :)

Speaking of the house and everything, mom has four cats too, it is possible none of you have reached mega-good tips on how to get cats to stop peeing inside? So awful!

No, now I'm going to crawl into bed in front of the fire (we moved the bed to the living room during the renovation). It's a day tomorrow too ♥

Hugs are!

Red Eyes & Lips

Red eye shadow is probably the color that many people are most afraid of, think that the most common color of the lips is the most unusual color of the eyes. Funny though :) It is very common that even people who are colorful and brave in makeup themselves say "solid red eye shadow, it can still not be nice?".

My favorite red eyeshadow is without a doubt Paese NEO Eyeshadow in shade 664, so beautiful!

Many people think that you should look red-eyed and sick, and yes, if you have a mischievous red color and apply it unevenly, you can certainly look very reddish.

I usually think that:
1. Do not be afraid of an extremely pigmented red color. The more pigmented and strong the more unnatural it looks. And when it comes to redness around the eyes, it is rarely a natural look you are looking for :)
2. Feel free to break off with black, e.g. a black eyeliner or eye shadow, or a lot of mascara. When red is not the color closest to the eye, you really do not look sick.
3. It is really nice to complement with other colors as well, then the red color will not be as extreme.

Summa summarum, I think red eye shadow is shitty! What do you think?

I have been doing this for a long time and if you want more inspiration, you can check it out this makeup and this makeup as I have done with red eye shadow before.
