Golden beauty - Golden makeup

I start the week by showing you a make-up that is made with Pixi's new make-up palettes that I have ordered at home and which will be available in the webshop soon. I am completely in love with them! Best Christmas present too, except that you get too jealous of the person who gets them, if you do not buy for yourself too haha;)

I have done both contouring, blush and eye shadow with these palettes, and you can peek at the results already now, even though they have not started to be sold yet.

The curls are made with a small pair of pliers that I love - HH Simonsen Mini Beach Waver*. You can read more about it and see step by step pictures in my previous blog post Shakira curls if you are hungry :)

Foundation - Pixi H2O Skintint (Nude)
Concealer - Pixi Correction Concentrate
Powder - gloMinerals Redness Relief Powder

And the lips are the lip pencil Dr. Hauschka Lipliner (06 Eggplant) who is also a faithful friend!

I have put a golden brown eye shadow around the whole eye, and then dipped a light / white eye shadow with gold shimmer in the middle of the eyelid, in the corner of the eye and the lower eyebrow.
Black eyeliner, Paese Penliner
Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara.

LCC Home Spa

Turn your bathroom into its own spaIs the feeling behind Löwengrip Care and Colors series Home Spa which consists of skin care products for both body and hands, I think wonderful! I completely agree, spa is incredibly luxurious and nice to treat yourself sometimes, but the best thing is to get the right spa feeling at home, so cozy :)

I have received a press sample of the series' body peeling and body balm, which I have put to the test and intended to show you now!

The jars have a flip lid, which is nice but also practical in the shower when you have wet hands - you do not always manage to unscrew the lid with wet hands when it is Miska who used the product last time, he is too strong and I am too weak haha.

The packaging is quite large too, no tit jars, it feels a little extra "spicy" with real jars, I think, and you get a lot for your money :) Both contain 200 ml.

LCC Home Spa Body Peeling want to start by showing, because I really liked it! When I first looked at it, I thought "no this will probably not be something for me" because the grains are so big and I like peels with many small grains instead of fewer large ones, I am more of a sugar scrub person. But do not be fooled by it, because once you scrub yourself with it, it is really lovely! It's a lot of small grains too, and it scrubs the skin properly and you feel really clean afterwards, me like! :)

The scrub contains pentavitin which strengthens the skin and creates a moisture reserve that lasts for several days. As well as cocoa extract which is a natural antioxidant that gives the skin more glow and elasticity.

The aroma is good too, a mix between sweet and spicy I would say.
Top note - Jasmine
Heart note - Peach, cedar, vanilla bean
Base note - Musk and sandalwood

IMG_7197_111

Here you see the grains I am talking about, very large and look very hard and "torn", but they are definitely not :)

LCC Home Spa Body Balm is a body lotion that also contains pentavitin and cocoa extract and has the same scent as the peel. It is very moisturizing and I especially like that it goes into the skin quickly. Otherwise, body balms are often a little fatter so you do not want to get dressed right away, but it works with this! It is incredibly beautiful on the skin that becomes super smooth and soft afterwards! :)

What I can say about the body balm, however, is that when you, like me, are used to testing thousands of creams here and there, you can sometimes notice, by just feeling a product, if it contains a lot of silicones. I had not read the contents before I smeared myself, but immediately thought that "it feels quite silicone".

I have absolutely no objection to silicones (despite the hot debate around Apoteket that is going on right now), silicones retain moisture in the skin while the skin breathes, and therefore it is often used together with moisturizing ingredients for a more moisturizing result, and because silicones do not react with the skin, it has been used a lot for medical purposes on e.g. burns.

But what I want to say with this is that even though I like the cream, it feels a little boring to spend over 200 kroner on a product that mostly consists of water and silicone, Aqua and Dimethicone are the first two on the table of contents. I would rather have seen more of such ingredients as jojoba oil that the cream also contains, I pay more than happy for that :)

IMG_7229_111

But as I said, the cream feels really lovely on the skin, creamy and thick but still quite light in texture. Nothing I had put the money on myself, the peeling, however, feels absolutely worth it!

Shout out if you have any questions :) ♥

Emerald gold makeup

Here is a very bright, fast, fresh and slightly colorful make-up that I have done with the eyeshadow palette Emerad Gold from Pixi. It's so heavenly nice!

emerald__gold-510x600

Wonderful colors right? :) Love the top very much even though it looks quite bright and ordinary on the product image. In reality, the light with gold shimmer that you see in the corner of the eye and under the brow in this picture is:

IMG_9534_111

The green inside and outside of the eyelid is a mixture of the two green eye shadows in the palette, and in the middle I have dabbed the eye shadow Star White from Yag mineral.

Then I finished with golden brown shadow along the lower lash line which is also from the palette, and the light with gold shimmer in the corner of the eye and under the brow as well :)

Eyeliner - Pixi Lash Line Ink
Mascara - Magnetic Lash Mascara (without the fibers)

Foundation - Pixi H2O Skintint (Nude)
Concealer - Pixi Correction Concentrate
Contouring - Paese Bronzing powder (1m)
Rouge - Paese Powder Blush (37)

Hope you like the look! :)

Thank god it's friday

5

Today is Friday and the whole Instagram was filled with "tgif" "finally Friday" and "listening to the Friday song" when I scrolled through this morning, fun I think! :)

But what I think is most fun about seeing this, is that I myself actually do not have that feeling. And I mean nothing negative about it, but it's simply because I enjoy my job so much that I never have to miss the weekend!

I am very stressed from time to time, some days there is a lot of this-must-be-done-now-and-preferably-yesterday-stuff that makes one stressed and other days there is more internal stress around finances and everything that needs to be planned and flap but which you can not grab until a lot of other stuff has flapped before. Pjuh.

But at the same time I also have an incredibly luxurious job, with moments where it hardly feels like it's a job because everything is so fun. Like yesterday when testers came on new palettes from Pixi - so wooow you will love them! I shoot like a little rabbit! And we are preparing a Christmas calendar competition on our facebook page Creative Makeup By Her where we will have a competition a day for 24 days with GREAT good products that you can win :) And next week we will start with Christmas signage, waah!

And not only that, if everything goes as planned, we will also do a makeover on Byher.se then also ♥

And yesterday I had the world's coziest evening at the same time as I actually did good work in terms of work. It is incredibly important to test each product properly to be able to give a detailed review here in the blog, but it is very fun too :) I poured a hot bath, put the computer on a chair next to the bathtub edge and watched Bachelor while I tested a new face scrub, a body scrub, face mask, shaving gel, and afterwards a body butter. Wonderfully!

And now this Friday I am sitting here writing to you, at the same time as I am sitting in my massage chair at work and testing caring "under eye pads" that feel etreemt beautiful under the eyes :)

IMG_9647_111

There is no need for me if you say so hihi.

Now, however, I will continue with a little heavier work such as planning Christmas calendar competitions and ordering home Christmas wrapping paper and gift strings for the store;)

Hope you got off to an equally good start on your Friday! Hug ♥

Christmas gift tips! Botanicals Hand Care Collection

Botanicals is a skin care brand with natural and organic products that are handmade in England. I have been selling some of their products for a long time now, and above all hand care has been very popular :)

A customer in the webshop has reviewed that she has a lot of problems with her hands, has tested most things and is very picky. But Botanicals hand lotion and hand soap she likes a lot, and after washing with the hand soap, it feels like you have lubricated yourself with hand cream, wonderful to hear! :) My sister also bought the hand soap for her boyfriend's mother who also has problems with her hands, and she also likes it a lot and said that her hands have become much better.

I have received several questions about when the hand soap Botanicals Hand Wash comes into stock again - and it is on Byher.se now again.

And not only that, I have also brought home a very nice kit with hand care which is a perfect gift and Christmas present for someone you like, or for yourself. There are four products for the hands that will be wrapped in a nice gift box ready to wrap :)

The kit contains:

Hand Balm - The savior in need of winter-dry, chapped hands. An extra moisturizing hand cream with organic shea butter, sunflower oil and jojoba oil which together are a real moisture and vitamin bomb. 100% natural and 89% organic.

Beautiful hand anti-age serum - The hands have to put up with a lot and are usually the body part that first shows signs of aging. This serum is rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals and help the skin's rejuvenation process. A blend of cold-pressed organic oils provides powerful anti-aging properties and works at the cellular level to rejuvenate the skin and improve skin tone and flexibility. Thanks to incense and sweet fennel, the serum reduces pigment spots, small wrinkles and tightens the skin and evens out skin tone. Contains rosehip oil, carrot oil, apricot oil, evening primrose oil and lavender, which together moisturize and nourish and protect the skin. 100% natural and 99% organic.

Hand Soak - The rock crystal contains 84 important minerals which in combination with sea salt (which is known for its healing properties) help to soften the skin and cuticles and help the skin's rejuvenation process. 100% natural and contains 0.95% organic oils.

Hand Polish - A sugar scrub with caring and moisturizing sunflower oil and shea butter that scrubs the skin properly, removes dead skin cells and deeply cleanses the skin. Mix with a few drops of warm water and massage the scrub thoroughly into the hands and cuticles. Rinse with lukewarm water. 100% natural and 82% organic.

IMG_9708_111

Tips for a cozy home manicure:
♥ Fill a bowl with warm water, sprinkle in a teaspoon of Himalayan crystal hand soak in the bath and lower your hands. Sit and enjoy for 10 minutes the good smell of lemongrass and ginger. The salt softens the hands and cuticles, removes dead skin cells and renews your skin.
♥ Peel your hands and cuticles with Revitalizing Hand Polish which removes dead skin cells and itchy skin that dissolved in the bath. Rinse hands thoroughly.
♥ Massage two drops of Hand Serum into the hands and cuticles.
♥ Finish by applying Hand Balm all over your hands and up a bit on your forearms.

The hands are really baby-soft afterwards, fragrant and incredibly moisturizing and soft, looove!
