Open and close Bamboo Silk Powder

Then I can imply that I have the silk powder and I do not understand anything! It is childproof or something .. Do not get any powder when I shake, do not understand how it goes to xD thought to have it under the eyes in large quantities that receive the eye shadow but haha on me… Thought to bring it to you: D but note to the rest of you: There is nothing wrong with it, only me who is not so smart (a)

Paese's powder has a sieve (strainer) that can be closed, which is great if you want it in the handbag without risking major accidents :) Many powders have it, but that you have to put your fingers in the powder and close that way, which always ends with powdery fingers instead and also it is not fun to have to put your fingers in the products either.

But Paese's screens open and close in a smarter way :)

The figure consists of two layers, one has small holes and the other has larger openings that look a bit like the shape of a star.

It is wavy on the sides of the jar, and there you can turn the top layer, so that the holes in the jar end up over the openings below. Then you can shake out suitable powder, and when you think it's enough, you can easily turn it back, it will not come out anymore :)

IMG_3098_111

So when the jar is closed it looks like this, the holes and openings are in different places :)

IMG_3109_111

And this is what it looks like when it is open!

Easy as pie, if you know how to do it. But I had exactly the same problem the first time "But Miska, something has gone wrong with the new jar! I have removed the tape but there will still be no powder…" Lol. But he saw the problem right away, so it was lucky :)

The powder has received 12 reviews Byher.se and all are 5 star!

Hugs are! ♥

Mascara with spiral brush

Oriflame has launched a new mascara in their The ONE series, it is called Instant Extensions Mascara and contains small fibers that give the lashes extra length. I like fiber mascaras, but there are also a lot that are just hard to use, but this one is very easy to use actually :)

IMG_1982_111

This is how it is described on Oriflame.se:
Fantastic lengthening mascara with innovative spiral brush and flexible, fiber-filled formula that is easily applied and lengthens the lashes with 74% *. Dries quickly for a smudge-free finish **. ”

They have written * in the text that should explain something, I guess it is some research they have done but I can not find the explanation anywhere on the website hehe.

It is available for purchase Oriflame.se and currently costs SEK 109 instead of words. price 159: -.

IMG_1989_111

The brush is spiral, which is difficult to see when looking straight from the front, but it is better seen in this picture:

IMG_1997_111

I like Oriflame's mascaras in general, they give very separated and fine lashes with both length and fullness. But one point I have not liked with anyone is that they easily discolor and smudge on the skin when you get oily during the day, and that is very sad. BUT this mascara does not smudge at all, so it gets that thumbs up too! :)

The durability is very good, the lashes are kept bent all day, and it does not crumble or smudge.

And I like the brush very much too, it separates the lashes and is very easy to work with. No lumps, no fibers that protrude (otherwise common among fiber mascaras) and the lashes become very fine.

Many fiber mascaras give an incredible length, because the fibers build up the length, but this is a milder fiber mascara, no wow effect on the length but a super nice result.

Two thumbs up get it from me!

Shimmering lip gloss in coral

Before the summer I got a press sample on a very nice lip gloss from Rituals which I was going to show you now :)

The Sparkling Lipgloss lip gloss series is available in six shades, and it is the shade Sugar Rose which is a mild coral shade that I have at home now.

IMG_4025_111

This is how the lip gloss is described on Rituals.se:
Gives ultra-glossy lips in a lightly colored effect with glitter. Mixture of pure powdered gemstones gives a seductive shine and color that lasts a long time. Mild formula: natural gemstones - pure minerals - without preservatives - without perfume. "

The lip gloss contains 5 ml lip gloss and costs SEK 135, can be bought online at Rituals.se, or in Ritual's own stores.

IMG_4033_111

I think the lip gloss is great! It shimmers in a very glittery way, so the lips do not look glittery but have a nice glow. The lips become really high-gloss and the color is mild and nice, and brightens up without being protruding.

However, I think it feels a bit sticky on the lips, but I am not a lip gloss person either, I have to have very soft gloss to want to use them regularly.

So my conclusion is that for 135 kronor I would have liked a gloss that is softer on the lips and would like to have it more moisturizing as well, but I think it is incredibly nice on the lips :)

How to make up redness AND get a natural result

Removing redness on the face is not always very easy, because red is such a color that shines through the makeup very easily and you need a thick layer of makeup to get rid of it completely - which is neither natural nor durable, especially not around the nostrils where many usually have red areas.

Now I thought I would give you tips on how to quickly make this off without a layer of "putty", and at the same time show you a new favorite combo of products that I make my base with every day now :) and it is:
Degreasing primer from Paese (Paese Makeup Base Matte)
2. Green primer from Pixi (Pixi Redness Reducing Primer)
Colored Day Cream from Pixi (Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal)
- and this cream also has a gym good concealer in the cork that I supplement with.

This tip for removing redness is also good for those of you who blush easily, and want to remove it for preventive purposes.

How to make up redness AND get a natural result

I am incredibly red around the nose, some days more than others and now I have a very red period as you see in the picture. But it is possible to make up redness! :)

IMG_3062_111Here you can already see that the redness has settled down a lot, without me having used any opaque product at all, just primer!

1. Primer to make up redness

I am very oily so I always start with Paese Makeup Base Matte, I will not survive otherwise. But you can often mix two primers if you have two favorites that focus on different problem areas. You might think it will be cake on cake, but as long as you do not overdose both and the textures blend well together, there are no problems :)

So first I take the degrading primer all over my face and massage it properly into the skin, and then I take a dollop of green primer from Pixi and lubricate in the middle of the face where I have problems with redness.

IMG_3067_111

2. Colored day cream to make away redness

If, like my skin, you now do not have so much more problems than redness, ie not so much blemishes or such irregularities, then you do not need a more comprehensive product than you need. The green in the face primer from Pixi neutralizes so much of the red, that the skin tone becomes incredibly even with just colored day cream!

IMG_3085_111

3. Concealer to remove redness

That a few small dots and such shine through does nothing when the rest is even, it can only be good if you want an "unmade-up" result, but if you have dark circles or a blemish that bothers you, the concealer in the cap of the colored day cream is absolutely superb ! Just dabbling if spreading with your finger, you get a more comprehensive result exactly where you want it, and yet it is very natural.

I have covered almost all small irregularities with the concealer, because I would do a party make-up later and then I like to have a completely even skin tone. But on a daily basis, I had only concealed the worst.

This is how nice the result will be with powder over late! Difference huh?

The day cream gives the skin a nice glow, and it goes well into the skin so you do not need to fix it with powder. But I who like a more matte result and would like to use degrading powder for preventive purposes, I usually always used it regardless of foundation.

Hope that the post about removing redness was helpful for you, if you have any questions, you know that it's just a matter of shouting :)

Rice porridge & rosé wine

0

When I woke up today I went to my sister Mia's blog and had a good laugh, I have ridden with her until both her gaggy knees and hips have given up, when she and Frida were so heavenly cute and helped and painted in new premises on Wednesday ♥

And then I compare the dinner I invite her to with the dinner she had with my sister Malin. She who actually hosts a three-course meal with me, gets a bowl of micro-heated rice porridge and a glass of rosé on the side haha.

You can read her post "Agda 87If you want to see some pictures from the painting of the future salon, and this post if you want to compare my and Malin's dinner party hehe. Malin with her fresh bright decor, and a nice tray with sweets on the sofa for dessert, and I in our messy apartment and my dirty makeup brushes in the background;)

IMG_20150828_054717

Mia painted all the physically difficult things, all the big walls and one meter long rollers, while I sat and chilled on the floor with all the moldings and small pills.

IMG_20150828_054326

Is it hard because it's so hot?" did I ask, "no, I'm alert! I just have a little pain in my body”. Haha, like it was better. She already has a lot of problems with her knees and stuff, because she works in a retirement home, which is not the easiest job…

For eleven hours we painted, and only took a lunch break otherwise we worked constantly until it got dark and the color ran out :)

And as a thank you, she got rice porridge for dinner in our dark and cramped apartment:

IMG_20150828_195034

But I take comfort in the fact that in a few years, then we will compare again but then I'm in Malin's place and she in mine;) And then I can buy cutting cards for full body massage for Mia as well, so that she is restored.

No, now I will do a little work with upcoming blog posts during the day (a post on how to make up redness on the face without having to have a lot of coverage), and then I will go home to my mother and hang out with my sister Linda who is visiting! We have always hung out a lot, but now she has moved to Finland and is only here during the day, so I have to take the opportunity to fill Linda's abstinence :)

Hugs are! ♥
