Wonderful fragrance mist from Yves Rocher

Yves Rocher has finally released his July news! I have longed for this as I had them at home for several months, I got them when I was invited to their press breakfast this spring, and was super eager to review them for you :)

And impatient I, who usually can not keep myself from reviewing if I like something, have managed to bite my tongue and waited! I understand that it must be frustrating for you to read about a good product that you want to buy, and it does not exist yet. But now there is their news that I will write some posts about in the next few days.

First out is my absolute favorite, their new fragrance mist, Yves Rocher Refreshing Fragrance Mist - Apple Star Anise*, with the scent of apple and star anise!

Use
A fragrance mist is used for several different reasons, but mainly as a lighter variant of perfume. It is also cooling and moisturizing, and you can either spray a little or on the whole body - unlike a perfume that is often dehydrating + highly concentrated, so with it you have to be careful not to become a "perfume bomb".

I spray this mist from Yves Rocher all over my body, without clothes. And I usually use it as a room spray as well, it smells so good :)

Fragrance
Yves Rocher's Fragrance Mist Apple Star Anise smells just like you hear in the name - apple and star anise. I do not really know how real star anise smells, but I love this fragrance mix! So fresh, light and sweet without getting gooey. You can spray a lot without it smelling strong. Two thumbs up!

sustainability
The scent does not last as long as a perfume, but I think it lasts longer than regular body mists that easily lose the scent after a while. But because it is so easy to use, and that it is not possible to take too much, you can easily have it in your handbag and improve the scent if you want it from morning to evening. A hot day now in the summer, it's just nice to spray yourself with it :)

Tip!
On a really hot day (either before the summer ends or for you who are going abroad) it is super nice to have the mist standing in the fridge! Take it out in the morning, or at night if needed, and spray over the body so it becomes cool and fresh immediately.

This fragrance mist contains 100 ml and costs SEK 89, in addition it is a Limited Edition so it will not be available in stores all the time.

Copper eyes

I really have periods when it comes to makeup, and now in the summer I have a "earthy-shades-period" and melts for nice shades of brown, copper, bronze and the like.

Here is a make-up in both copper and brown, which I felt really good at! I looked like this when we grilled at Miska's mother (was in a hurry to leave so the make-up ended quickly and took photos in 3 seconds type haha) and then in the evening I put on make-up even more, you will see those pictures soon too, I have thought :)

Today I have stocked up on Pixi products!

It has been sold out a lot, and since it is holiday time, I have not been able to order until now. But now so :)

Here is a selection of popular products that have been out of stock but are now available again:

Pixi Correction Concentrate Concealer, which you see before and after pictures above. A fantastic concealer that gives a comprehensive and natural result!

In this picture you see a face primer that neutralizes red tones, so there is no coverage at all but still the red is so much milder. It is Pixi Redness Reducing Primer I have used, which is now back in stock again :)

The multi-product Pixi Lid & Line has been finished in the shade Smokey Olive, nice huh? :)

And in this last before and after picture you see the result Pixi H2O Skintint, which is a colored gel that gives an incredibly natural and lasting result, love! And now the shade Nude is in stock again :)

But soon I will actually bring in the entire Pixi range, fun ?! :) All their products are so heavenly good!

Hello!

Today I have a real administrative working day, started the day with a meeting via FaceTime (video calls available on Mac) and now I am emailing here and there and deciding a lot of things that need to be fixed as soon as possible. Among other things, I plan for a full day of job interviews next week, so much fun!

Have not even eaten breakfast yet because is so inside what I do haha :)

But now Miska just called, who is in her mother's house and cooks, and said that the lunch (brunch?) Is ready in 20 minutes. So now I'm going to pack up the computer and run there, so I can work there later. So much cozier to work with a kitty in your arms instead of sitting here in a stuffy apartment.

Anyway, just thought I'd write it so you know I'm alive and what I'm doing. Tonight it will be a bit more blog work as I will take a cozy, hot bath and try a new scrub + color wrap Maria Nila Color Refresh in the shade Pink Pop, sometimes my job does not feel so super hard haha;)

IsaDora's Face Sculptor brushes

IsaDora has very good make-up in their range, it is an incredibly good brand in that price range. But, every time I try one of their makeup brushes I get disappointed…

I received their Face Sculptor Brush and Shadow Blender in the same mail as their new couture palette that I wrote about yesterday. And now I feel very hard, sorry for the IsaDora, but in my opinion they are neither cheap nor good, you can get very better brushes for that money!

IsaDora Shadow Blender is partly for toning out eye shadows, but also for applying highlighter. It feels quite plastic, and the straws are scattered and generally feel quite few, there is nothing wrong with airy brushes but then the straws must be soft and comfortable as well. It does not absorb as much product and does not feel comfortable on the skin, nor is it particularly effective when trying to blend shadows.

I might not have missed it as much if it kind of came with free with a shadow or similar, there is worse and it works, but it costs 99 kronor and then I just say - buy someone else.

IsaDora Face Sculptor Brush is better, but also more expensive and costs SEK 129, which in my opinion is not worth it either. It is soft and reasonably compact, and gives a nice result. Had it been cheaper, I would have recommended it to you who want a good budget brush, no wow feeling but works well. But for SEK 129, you can get a brush that is even more comfortable, and also easier to use.

In other words, no brushes I will use, but if you find the big brush on sale you can strike :)
