Wella Instamatic Pink Dream

As I told you last Friday, I was with the super talented Monica Werner and freshened to my hair color a little then, and it feels so heavenly good!

No huge change, but first and foremost I needed to color away the growth, so there we used the same color as we did the time before, a dark red that gives a nice depth to the scalp.

And besides that, I was craving a slightly more rosy-toned tone in the lengths, which I have blogged about before that you can get with colored hair wrap. If I do not use my colored hair wrap at all now, the lengths are kind of blonde and a bit in the copper direction, which I also like, but I really got a craze for this with rosé now :)

So when she had brushed in the hair color in the outgrowth, she had a pink tone in the rest of the hair. Here is the result:

rose gold hair color

The copper in color before mixed with pink gives a kind of rose gold tone, or what can you call it? I absolutely love it!

Really nice to have it colored so now and avoid using colored packaging just as much. Now my plan is to freshen it up with pink wrap every now and then but it will not require as much work as the hair color before - then I had red wrap in the scalp (brushed in dry hair) and in the beginning I had nothing at all in the lengths but it lately I also mixed the red wrap with conditioner and had in the lengths, and I did every shower.

Now I will only need wrapping every now and then (will test one that is pink from the beginning) and then I can have it in my whole hair in the shower only, and avoid hassle :)

IMG_9172_1111The pink tone in the lengths is actually a pastel pink color from Wella's color series "Instamatic" and this shade is called Pink dream. The Instamatic colors are, as you hear the name, inspired by Instagram and all the filters you can put on the pictures. In other words, these colors are just like a tone above your natural hair color!

I long until I get home my pink wrap too, it's so fun to vary and test myself with them. Then I will show more pictures! Thought to start by mixing out the color wrap and have it in the whole hair, but will also try to have it concentrated and see how it turns out. You can also vary the duration of action depending on how intense the result you want to get. Gonna be so much fun :)

Colored wrapping is a good quick fix when you want to experiment with hair colors, but when you want a more durable result, I can really recommend going to a hairdresser who uses Wellas Instamatic colors! I'm super happy ♥

Get a complexion full of lust

I have mentioned Lumene's limited edition series "Artic Sun Collection 2015" before, and now I thought I would show you another product from there that I also love!

A few weeks ago I got a press sample of this series, and I am completely obsessed with the luminous cream Lumene Artic Sun Skin Tone Perfector:

What is the Lumene Artic Sun Skin Tone Perfector?
This is a caring cream that gives the skin radiance and emphasizes tanned skin. It contains caring seed extracts from cloudberries and light-reflecting pigments.

The skin gets an effective and incredibly nice glow!

How to use it?
You can use it in a few different ways, it is developed for the face but I use it mostly on the body actually. But it can vary in many ways!

In the whole face / on the whole body - The cream contains a lot of luster so I think it becomes too much if you lubricate it as it is everywhere, and on the body it is not smart as the tube is not that big. So if you want luster everywhere, you can mix it with your day cream / body lotion instead, it will be great!

In some areas - I only lubricate certain parts of the body / face. I use it on cheeks, collarbones and shoulders, which I do without mixing it up. Then I mix it a little with body lotion and apply a little on the front of the arms, and now in the summer also a little on the thighs and narrow legs if I only have legs. Gets so heavenly nice :)

Nice lust huh? Here I have used it without mixing it out, but not smeared it all over me.

Here you see a close-up of the luster when I have applied it to half my hand, you can see the difference clearly:

Two thumbs up I say!

The cream contains 30 ml and costs SEK 99, and this limited edition collection is only sold at Åhléns.

Hugs are ♥

A blast from the past

It is always fun to go back to the archive and see what you have published for old make-up. I published my first makeup in the blog July 30th, 2010, so it almost exactly 5 years ago now, shit what crazy!

But you must not go back that far haha;) I have shown a lot of looks that in today's situation give me brutal anxiety, it is lucky that I have become better if you say so.

Anyway, now Miska is cooking dinner at my mom's house, while I chill on the couch and just waiting to be served hehe. In other words, I have no new blog material for you, and therefore thought I would show you the make-up that I published exactly one year ago, the 19th of July 2014 :) Hope you think it's a little fun!

What do you think? :)

"Hello. Nice make-up! But what you do is always nice.
I have a question that has nothing to do with the post that I would like to know how you succeed with your very nice little curls in your hair. Can't post about it? There are certainly many of us who want to know. Know that you've had it sometime long ago but will not find it again. Hugs to you :) ”

I get very frequent questions about my curls, great fun! I have made a detailed post about it before, but because I get so many questions so
I thought I could simply publish it again :)

My curls are small wave curls, and I think they are very reminiscent of Shakira's curls, it looks so natural if you do it a little carelessly.

Curls like this always look best after a few hours, I think, when they have settled a little more, then you get a little more "nice sloppy" look, a little more like Shakira!

My pictures were taken right after I finished, but they will look their best tonight. And the best part is that they usually hold up damn well too, so they will surely look good for several days :)

small-curling iron

The curling iron I have used to get such small and nice curls, it is a very small curling iron - HH Simonsen Go Mini Beach Waver available HERE and costs SEK 599.

However, I do not recommend using it too often, as it is not possible to regulate the heat, it is always dot 200 degrees, which is actually too hot for the hair. So do not forget heat protection spray! But I have used it many times and it has worked well :)

The only setting is on or off.

1. Spray the hair with heat protection, I love Living Proof Instant Protection which protects the hair up to 232 degrees.

2. Divide the hair into lower and upper hair. Or even more divided if you have thick hair.

3. Start curling the lashes, I usually start in the back of my head and work my way forward, I think that's easiest!

4. Once you have reached the upper hair, put the hair in a leg like you not want. Do you want e.g. have oblique legs so do a middle leg.

small-curls-legs

Here you see why you should not attract in the legs that you want later, haha.

5. Transfer some hair from one side to the other so that the curls look good even in the legs.

6. Pull the hair apart so that it is no longer divided into loops, and ruffle it a little! I usually headbang a few times, then it usually settles nicely without getting fresh.

hair spray curls

7. Spray with hair spray on the entire hairstyle. I like GHD Style Final Fix Spray*! It gets quite hard in the hair if you take a lot, but it makes the curls hold up just fine :)

And then it's done!

And as I said, here the curls are completely freshly made, but they will only get nicer and nicer, just puff up the volume and spray dry shampoo when needed. And if it becomes a felt, e.g. when you sleep, you have to sort it out but your fingers, it does not look good if you brush through it.

What is your favorite makeup?

I have put together a small collage with my latest make-up, partly as inspiration for you but also because I really want a response to which are your favorites! :) It is always good to know what kind of make-up you like the most and want to see a little more of in the future!

The first are everyday make-ups and then they become more and more colorful and dark further down in the collage. Hope it is appreciated :) ♥
