Red in the face? Use green face primer!

Being red in the face can be due to several different things, e.g. that the skin is so thin that the blood vessels shine through (even though you often do not see that it is a blood vessel, it only looks red) which can be both constant or only when you e.g. blushes.

You can also be red due to rosacea, irritated skin or pimples.

Whatever the reason, this is a problem when you have to put on make-up, because red not only shines easily through the skin but also shines through the make-up!

In other words, it is difficult to get rid of the red by just covering over, you want to have as little makeup as possible and then it feels unnecessary with a thick layer on a skin that is really nice.

But I have the answer for you! Nothing I have tested beats Zuii Organic Color Corrective Base in the shade mint, which is a green face primer!

In this before and after picture, it looks like I have some kind of opaque makeup, but I do not. My skin tone is uneven mainly due to red areas, and when the green pigment in the face pimmer neutralizes this, you already look almost flawless!

How does a green face primer work?
Green neutralizes red, and you who want to understand exactly why can read my previous post about complementary colors :)

And this face primer is kind of like a day cream with mint green pigments, which is why it is so good against red areas. Unlike a green concealer, this does not turn completely green in areas that are not red, so you can have it all over your face even if you are not red everywhere.

In other words, this primer can also be used for preventive purposes, e.g. if you easily blush in certain situations and the like!

How to use it?
You can easily vary if you want a lot or a little primer, so you can dab a little extra in certain areas where you want more pigment. Use after day cream but before basic make-up.

Can you wear it despite oily skin?
The primer is oil-based but contains such thin and fine oils that go into the skin directly. I who have incredibly oily skin do not notice at all that the primer would make it worse! It has no degrading properties, but can be used together with Paese Makeup Base Matte. In addition, this primer contains organic geranium oil which reduces the secretion of sebum :)

Do you have to have foundation over?
If you are frugal with the primer, you can use it completely without foundation over, but I use quite a lot (and by a lot I do not mean a thick layer, but more than a little) and then the skin tone gets a pretty cold tone, green only neutralizes remove red, it does not replace your natural skin tone. So then it is best to have a foundation in your skin color over too!

What ingredients does it contain?
The primer is organic, vegan and contains 100% natural ingredients, including:

Organic almond oil - Nourishes the skin and restores the natural luster
Organic rose oil - Rich in vitamin C which i.a. reduces scarring and wrinkles
Organic marigold oil Soothing and anti-inflammatory
Organic aloe vera - Contains vitamins B1, B2 and B6, calcium and potassium and is known for moisturizing and soothing properties.
Organic geranium oil - Reduces the secretion of sebum

Difference huh? :) If you have done this good basic work with just one primer, you do not need much foundation at all then, which gives a natural and economical result!

Today's make-up is done with Paese Opal Eyeshadow in the shade Melba - bright and super fine eye shadows that go in the peach direction.

These Opal palettes are something between matte and shimmery, because they do not contain shimmer but give an enormously beautiful luster!

The shade Melba immediately became one of my favorite shades, so summery and nice :)

I have the light yellow shadow in the corner of the eye and on the inside of the eyelid, pink eye shadow on the outside of the eyelid and the light brown along the lower lash line!

The mascara is Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara.

The lipstick is two different nude colors, I have applied a slightly darker nude color to the entire lips and then dabbed a little light color in the middle! Both are Paese Lipstick with argan oil and I have used shades 17 and 35.

The basic make-up is Zuii Organic - cc-primer (mint), powder foundation (ivory) and sparkle red (melon). Love it!

Do you remember how I ended the last post? ”Now I'm going to go and inspect my sister's car, wish me luck, so I do not have to take the bus home haha!”’

Guess what happened;)

The whole reason I inspected the car is because my sister hates that kind of thing, and since I borrow it so much, I showed up of course!

But I can say that I am not much better at all… Just getting into the doorway was anxiety! I chose the wrong parking window and came from the side when I was about to turn into the narrow gate. Three old men staring at me "they'll scream well if I'm on my way to the door frameI thought and managed to jerk in a little jerkily and position myself correctly.

The inspector - "Here you come and hum in! Your exhaust system is leaking, but you already know that ”
I - "Well, it's not my car, so I know nothing! ” * regret that I sound so windy *
The inspector - "Yes, although it howls about the car when you drive "
I - "Yes, but maybe it was because I happened to drive with the handbrake?”

After a lot of tests, he comes to me again with this note:

"Yes, you young lady… The brake was fully loaded now so it will be the bus home for you".

He seemed to understand that I am not a direct shark on cars, so he spoke very simple car language and was incredibly clear with all the details.

"There is a driving ban now"
"Okay"
"So you must not drive it from here"
"Okay"
"If you drive it, you will lose your driving license !!"

Better to be for clear as well, I agree with him;) Many important details such as "you must not tow cars with a rope if they do not have brakes"And"do not forget to lock the car" Lol.

Do you understand what a walk of shame after this? Full of cars in the parking lot, everyone sees how to drive in and after 10 minutes comes out with the old man who puts a driving ban sign on the car, locks and starts to crawl from there in the direction of the buses.

"Do not laugh at me!!!" I wanted to shout at them hahaha.

Well, better that the brakes gave up now and not when you are out driving :) Now I will make some coffee and start putting on make-up! Hope you had a good start to the day ♥

I bought a new computer (a MAC!) And I'm really happy anyway! Even though it takes a while to break old habits when you have never had anything other than Windows computers, everything feels backwards haha.

Anyway, it auto-corrects what I write which I mostly like as I always happen to skip and mix up letters. But it has a tendency to always change to Zoo when I write Zuii, so just thought to say that if I ever miss it, do not be confused, there is no Zoo Organic in the webshop, only Zuii Organic :)

Now I was going to show you a good swatch picture Zuii Organic Powder Foundation, so that you get an overview of the different shades!

Milk - Milky white shade, suitable for snow white.
Ivory - Neutral, light ivory white shade, which fits perfectly with the light Nordic skin tone.
Cream - Light shade with yellow undertone. Perfect for the light Nordic skin tone.
Almond - Warm almond shade with yellow undertone. Medium light skin tone.
Cashew - Warm, medium light shade.
Macadamia - Cold shade with pink undertone. Medium light skin tone.
Hazelnut - Medium light skin tone with yellow undertone. Excellent for light shadows on light skin and as a foundation for dark skin.
Pecan - Warm shade, dark skin tone.
Peanut - Warm shade, pink undertone. Dark skin tone.
Earth - A beautiful, cold chocolate brown tone. Dark skin tone.

I am currently using the shade Ivory on my skin tone :)

New - Basic make-up from Zuii Organic!

Finally, finally, finally I get to present a new make-up brand that is launched today on Byher.se! As I have longed for this! :)

Can be used both alone or on top of other blush colors, e.g. the lighter shades Mango and Blossom are super nice on the cheekbones (and shoulders and collarbones!) to just give a nice glow :)
